I added a recipe to my recipe box Saturday and when I tried to go back into recipe box, it just flashes on and then quits the program. How to I fix this?

Hi. I love the app recipe box but lately it has been freezing a lot and I have to reboot my iPad. Have tried deleting the app and restoring it but it still keeps happening. Please help.
