About this app

Record and keep track of your expanded thyroid blood lab tests: thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), free triiodothyronine (fT3), free thyroxine (fT4), reverse triiodothyronine (rT3), thyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb), thyroglobulin antibody (TGAb), vitamin B and D, cortisol, glucose, sodium, potassium, and iron.  BOOST Thyroid app is built for people with an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) and Hashimoto's.  Autoimmune conditions are on the increase in the past 50 years, mostly because of the industrialized world diet and lifestyle.  You can now measure how your diet, physical activity or treatment impact fifteen of the most common symptoms experienced in hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s.  Information provided by BOOSTThyroid does not constitute medical advice and does not replace consulting a healthcare provider.  Science increasingly recognizes the need for personalized approaches and for good communication between patients and doctor to better manage the condition.  Increase productivity by reducing stress, poor digestion, low energy or bad sleep.  BOOST Thyroid can help with any or all of these goals.  Set reminders to take your medication on time and get information about the latest research.  We used peer-reviewed scientific research on autoimmune conditions to build our app.  People with autoimmune diseases experience many recognized food sensitivities .  Do you want to improve your energy, focus, digestion, or sleep quality?  We are funded by European Commission and German Ministry of Education and Research.  Quantifying how treatment works for you will help you learn what is your “good” zone.  Our collaborators are the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and University of Oxford in the UK.  Taking medication on time is important.
