This app is worthless and a waste of time. I have spent two weeks trying to create an account but continue to receive an error message “ an error happened in the attempt to connect to the server”
I have reported this twice by email to Renault and called their tech-support twice. I have received two different answers. No one seems to understand why it does not work on an iPhone running iOS 14.8. I am beyond frustrated. Also, you have to upload six photos, and two pages of demographics data before it pings the server, and only then do you find out that the server is not working. The program should tell you after the first screen so you do not waste so much time taking and uploading six photographs.

1/ You CANNOT pay with an American Express, Visa, or MasterCard not issued in Europe (for example: USA…). I am not even sure how this does not breach card agreement with Amex, Visa, MC. 2/ the website and the mobile app do not share the same account… I.e. if you create an account of the mobile app you can’t log into the website… 3/ my profile was initially rejected because my American driver license was less than 1 year old… I have a license in France since 1987 and since 2014 in the US. Had to call in the support to get my profile accepted. 4/ I had to switch off the WiFi to allow my profile validation to go through because the connection was deemed “unstable”. Overall, a nonsensical user experience if you are a tourist or expat from abroad.
