I wanted to try Galarm out to use a specific day alarm, but to be on the safe side I doubled up on the alarm just in case. Thank god I did, cause the alarm didn’t work (double checked the settings and nothing wrong). I’m not sure if it is because I have my phone on silent (FYI: my IPhone alarm works even when ringer is on silent). I did notice I when I was setting the ringtone, that I could only hear the ring I selected when I turn the ringer on (when off it was silent).

Personally I don’t want to have my ringer on at night, otherwise I’ll get a million text and email notifications. If that’s the “fix” for this issue, then that’s going to be a double thumbs down for me.

I really wanted Galarm to work, but it does not. It has caused me to be late for meetings because I was relying on it at first. I have set multiple alarms with different phone settings, and it doesn’t play the alarm ringtone when my screen is locked. The only time I have gotten the ringtone to work is when my phone is unlocked. My volume is turned up. My phone is not on silent. My Apple Watch is not on silent. All it will do when the phone screen is locked is make a single chime that is not noticeable when you are interacting with people, but it will not play the ringtone.

I never post reviews, but this almost feels like false advertising. Who sleeps with their phone with the ringer on? That is the whole point of silent mode. If it doesn’t properly with the iOS update, why post it on Galarm STORE?

Galarm could have been so perfect. I was desperately searching for an app that I can set alternative alarms with, since my work schedule is a rotating one and some days are different on different weeks. I was so happy to find Galarm, and was willing to pay anything just to be able to wake up unworried if I remembered to set my alarm.

Unfortunately, this does not work in silent mode—and instead of waking up on time for work, I overslept. Only to wake up to a notification “It’s time to wake up for work.” that made no sound. Guess I’ll be having to setting it up differently everyday.

Galarm has a great user interface and tons of great features. The ability to send contacts scheduled alarms really distinguishes Galarm from other alarms. However, I really wish there was an optional feature to make alarms sent to you by your contacts, automatically confirm such that no action is needed by the receiver to make the alarm sound. I think many people would enjoy this added feature and find it useful. I hope to see something like this implemented in future updates

The habit of hitting snooze is one of the worst sleep habits a person can get into which is why I am shocked that there is no way to completely disable snooze functionality on any alarms in Galarm. Because of this, Galarm is useless to me unfortunately. I was also unhappy with how few sound options there were and how the page was cluttered with things other than my alarms, which I had to view by scrolling right and left. Overall it would’ve been kind of better than the standard Apple app if I could have done the very basic thing of disabling snooze.

I love Galarm it has helped me remember so much and it is so easy to set up. My one and only biggest complaint is I have switched phones and for some reason I m no longer receiving the premium package I paid for when I realized this I emailed them and screenshot my subscription page showing I paid . The next time I looked at Galarm I was still not getting my paid version. I emailed again again they wanted the proof. I’m sorry I don’t have time to continue to keep emailing these people so frustrating!

Great alarm app but missing two things that really drive me crazy. Number one I don’t understand why you can’t add your own. Sounds for the alarms. I know they have recently added some new sounds but why can’t I just add my own custom sounds? And secondly, it drives me crazy that either the interface is so messed up or they just won’t do things like being able to add an alarm for the Wednesday before the second Sunday of every month.

I love Galarm so much! I was really struggling to keep track of all the logistics for my kids and my life. Now I use this and the alarm has helped me not miss one single commitment since I began. My kids have even noticed how much it has helped us stay on top of our schedule. The reminders on my phone were not because I couldn’t hear them. I really appreciate how this helps even if my phone is on silent mode and I can adjust the alarm volume in the settings. Thanks for making this amazing app!

Galarm allows me to set future dated alarms, which are extremely helpful. Having the ability to override iPhone settings with assurance that the alarm will go off, no matter what is very comforting, especially in situations where you cannot afford to have an alarm mishap. Never ran this for over a year and it’s not wants to let me down. It’s a trusted app and one that I would certainly not be without. Kudos to this company for building a bulletproof alarm app.

I was looking for an app that could reliably provide an alarm with a message for any time or day in the future that would get my attention until I manually turned it off, even if the phone is on silent mode.
It is surprisingly hard to find an app that provides this basic functionality.
I found Galarm intuitive and easy to use.
It fully meets this need for me so five stars

It’s beyond comprehension that the Apple alarm doesn’t allow you to create future one time or repeated alarms, has to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen on iPhone. I just switched to iPhone, last one I had was version 1, my Samsung was having issues, so figured I try something new. Phone works great, but things like this are beyond stupid, so it’s great Galarm simply allows you to set FUTURE ALARM DATES, it’s like features on a phone 101. I have many one time alarm needs for once a month, twice a month, future flight alarms, etc

And it would be nice if your calendar showed the calendar month, so you can see what do you are selecting. But love it so far.

Has a “name the alarm” field and a repeat at intervals option. Plus notes to add description. Also is easy to click to add new alarm.

I do wish I could stop/shut off/acknowledge the alarm without being taken back into Galarm (disrupting whatever else I’m in). Maybe you can but it hasn’t been intuitive or stumbled upon yet for me. And I have not yet tried the share with other users feature.

But the alarm sounds are pleasant. I like that I can name the alarm and add reminder notes. I also like that I can snooze/delay or set an automatic reoccuring alarm.

This was so helpful when I was caring for someone. Bathroom break reminders in case we got caught up in something. Meal times. Activity nudges. Etc.

With the descriptions I didn’t have to wonder why my phone was buzzing at me. And I wanted something separate from my calendar app. This hit that spot for me.

Never forget to cancel that 3 month free trial again! I got Galarm because it’s the only way I’ve ever figured out to remind myself of something important more than a week out. Calendar entries are fine and necessary but the notifications are way too easy for me to ignore or mute. Also I love that my family and I can set reminders for each other!

When I use the microphone icon on the iPhone keyboard to speak the title of my this app reminder, I noticed when I tap the microphone to stop recording, this app would type what I spoke 2 times. I reported this bug to this app and they responded the next day with a solution. They explained instead of tapping the microphone icon to stop recording, simply tap another field, such as the date or time, and Galarm does NOT type what I spoke 2 times. What an easy solution. this app is one of my favorite apps! I use it every day.

I really like being able to schedule the alarms for myself, which has more flexibility than the built-in alarm system on my phone. However, it’s a bit of a pain to turn the alarm off. When I swipe left on the lock screen and select “done”, sometimes it snoozes for an hour anyway. So instead I have been opening Galarm all the way in order to select “done” and prevent snoozing, but it is often very slow to open. It’s still worth using though, for me, because I need the alarms so that I don’t have to remember my calendar items.

The this app app has truly transformed my lifestyle. With its fantastic features, I can manage not only my own, but also my and my family’s health, fitness, and finances. I love that Galarm can program alarms as far in advance as I want. I can also make them repeat and assign them to others who have Galarm . Galarm would also be perfect for someone who is caring for a senior—medication alarms can be set on both phones so you would always know if medications are taken.

I really like the concept of having participants in an alarm. I find buddy alarm and group alarm really useful. Buddy alarm allows me to add tasks for my colleagues such that the alarm reminds them and me of the task at the right time. I use group alarm with my exercise group to schedule all sort of events such as cross fit sessions, jogging, cycling etc.

If you like Samsung clock app— this is by far the best you’ll find. I promise.

I was a Samsung S8 user for about 5 years and got really attached to the features that Samsung’s clock app offered. I switched to iPhone without realizing I would lose them all. I can’t believe Apple doesn’t offer the features that one would expect should be standard for any alarm clock app on any brand phone—the biggest, setting alarms for future times beyond one day seems like a necessary, basic feature. I spent so much time looking for a new app, and I was so lost. I almost overlooked Galarm because it didn’t have too much attention on Galarm Store— it can do almost everything. It has about 85% of the creature comfort features I need to feel like I still have my Samsung clock app.
