Waste and Expensive

So I set myself up for the specific Triathlon distance I wanted to train for. It gave me the same swim, run, bike workout every day for 12 weeks. So I upgraded and spent $10 (that’s an unrealistic amount for any app) to get the specific Sprint Tri training schedule. Nope- nothing- it was no different and every single swim, bike day is exactly the same and the workout is an insane regime for anyone training for just the Sprint distance. Such a waste of my money and my time trying to figure TriBuddy out at all.

Buggy

I can’t get it to progress past the opening screens once i’ve entered the race date and length of the triathlon.

Crashes and burns

I got TriBuddy. I cannot access the program I purchased and they refuse to provide a refund.

Do not recommend.

Requires purchase of training plans. Useless otherwise.

Great app!!! Fastest Service ever!!

I’ve had TriBuddy for some time but never used it. Today I did one of the sprint workouts and realized that it was a better training plan than the one I was using. So I jumped right in and bought the unlock all plans. Unfortunately I was having trouble after I paid. I sent the email and figured in 2-3 Days like most apps I’d hear back. But Bam. Two quick emails and I’m up and running. Look forward to my next race. If it makes me faster... I’ll update the review.

I really like that if I miss a day, I can go back and still do the workout from a previous day

TriBuddy is a great fitness app to help triathletes of all levels reach their goals by providing training plans and detailed workouts across Swim, Bike, Run and Strength.

* Over 500 detailed workouts provided on a daily basis for Swim, Bike, Run and Strength training.

* Regular testing is included within training plans so that your training zones are kept up to date.

If you have a bike power meter then you can undertake the suggested tests to set your Functional Threshold Power (FTP) and if you have a heart rate monitor you can set your Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (LTHR).

Training Zones are set for all disciplines, you can simply use Relative Perceived Effort (RPE) if you like to train by feel.
