GameTree use to be good till it switched management. Now GameTree has lost everything it once was. There are so many scam bots of females wanting a sugar baby's wanting your bank information. I’ve reported at lease 15 and none of them have been ban. That makes me believe that the owner himself are allowing these bots into GameTree . Most people spam memes in the main chat and nothing else.

GameTree use to be amazing I would find someone else to play with every other day now it’s a struggle to know who’s even real and who works for the these people that just talk to keep GameTree from dying off completely.

I honestly don’t understand how an app made for gamers wouldn’t allow you to promote tournaments to gather more people and make new friends but instead they prevent you from doing that but will allow perverts to roam freely turning it into a dating app i thought that i could make fellow gaming friends and feel safe i got nothing but people fake asking to game with me just to hook up outside of what i signed up for is uncalled for not to mention getting harassed and threatened by a moderator at 3am while I’m sleeping which was totally disrespectful just because I simply clicked on the messages and didn’t respond i don’t see how hosting a tournament promoting it is a problem over allowing women getting preyed on by supposed “men” I’ve seen a lot of guys say that GameTree only works if you’re a female GameTree could’ve been great if they worked on keeping it about gaming and safety I’ve met a few good people on here very few good people

GameTree can be a place to meet and make friends but it is generally not a safe space for women. After interacting with mods/admin and other users it became very clear women stand out on GameTree and are easily targeted.

In my experience I was contacted by a mod over something I had in my bio, which I immediately changed. However, I started to notice other male profiles with similar bios weren’t being changed.

After finishing my conversation with the mod I deleted the chat thread (I only keep active conversations in my messages) and APPARENTLY when you delete a conversation thread it blocks that person. No where is that communicated.

I am then contacted by admin and have my account threatened because I “blocked a mod”. Except I didn’t. I just deleted our messages. I had no way of knowing that you blocked someone when you deleted their message.

All in all this has been slightly hypocritical and very aggravating. I don’t plan to come back.

I was super excited to download GameTree to connect with more gamers, but GameTree makes it soo hard. It takes forever to load if it does, it constantly gets stuck on random pages, your messages will double, triple send, sometimes more. There are forums where people will post p0rñ that children are on, and even when you report them and their posts, they are never taken down. Also, instead of blocking people, you “blacklist” them, which does basically NOTHING. It’s SUPPOSED to prevent y’all from seeing each others posts, but it doesn’t work. At all.
App is always crashing, no matter how many forced updates.
Y’all have some serious work to do on GameTree if you want it to be successful. Almost everyone I’ve talked to about it agrees it is just awful.
Only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because it does do what it’s intended to do. But it is sooo far from where it should be.

At first GameTree was really good. There’s really cool people to meet on GameTree . But GameTree itself over the past year has worsened. GameTree is SO SLOW and SO glitchy. Every-time I close out of GameTree and go to re-open it, it glitches out and kicks me out to my home screen. I have to delete and redownload GameTree every time I close out the application (which gets super annoying). When re-downloaded, GameTree takes about five minutes to load my messages. When looking for someone to meet, it takes a full 30 seconds to respond to whether or not I clicked no or I messaged. GameTree needs a major re-work.

If you’re looking to use GameTree for finding gamer pals to play with, GameTree is really good for serving that purpose. However, if you plan to get to know someone romantically, best of luck because half the women put “happily taken” or “not here to date, only want friends” on their bio. So any chance of finding love on here is doomed as soon as you realize they added the “dating” section as its own component which basically messed up every guy’s chance.

GameTree is alright… but feel as though it could be better GameTree is difficult to find friends to game with due to the fact not everyone has all the consoles. So I do think it could be a little more organized with tabs dedicated for each platform makes so much easier to find others to play with on your preferred owned console. Second thing GameTree is filled with so many bots and scammers wanting to be your sugar mama wanting you to join these weird sites or want your info for cash-app etc it gets kinda frustrating and really wish GameTree could be more as it has potential and with certain fix I’m sure many would love it so much more

I love this app and have made some surprisingly close friends on it during quarantine, it does have a lot of bugs like texts not showing up or new ones appearing in the wrong spot, but besides that it’s good. I really wish they added a way to change you location because I recently moved from the west coast to the east and there’s no way to change my time zone. I really don’t want to have to make a new account to change it.

GameTree is a really great place to meet fellow gamers in the gaming community. The way it is set up and constructed makes it easy to navigate. You can find people that play similar games easily. Only issue I have had is GameTree does not respond from time to time when opening the Application. Also it has closed out/not respond while in use a could times. Overall, I have had a great experience using GameTree .

GameTree is so awesome! I got lots of friends and had some nice texts. Was going to play with a friend today and I was just about to ask them if they’re online. So I opened GameTree but it didn’t respond. It kept telling me that there’s a problem with the network. Idk why this happens. I’ve had several problems with GameTree telling me that I have poor connection although I was sitting right by the WiFi router. This is such a great flaw for a great app like this. Hope the developer reads this and fixes the problem. Thank you so much :)

I’ve had GameTree for a while now and I really enjoy it. I’ve meet quite a few interesting people to game with and have actually made quite a few friends out of it. The apps pretty easy to use but it could use some work as far as maneuverability through GameTree and some tweaks to the messaging system. Other than that, it’s good over all. Would definitely recommend it to someone who’s looking for people to play games with.

I keep getting shown the same 15 people every time i open GameTree , its annoying to skip through them and watch 6 ads before i get to any new faces. The ads themselves are so much to go through.. why do I have to X out of the ad 3 different times? Finally, i was 'connecting' with multiple people last night but when i open my app this morning it shows each message that i sent like i was sending it to myself. From: me. Im the only one in the chat. Why is it even an option to connect with yourself? Love the idea but there are problems to be worked out, thank you for the platform.. i will continue to enjoy it.

So I’m having an issue trying to figure how to make notifications pop up. I just recently got GameTree and it runs smoothly. I was being messaged by someone but I didn’t receive notifications, I checked to make sure my phone settings were on and they were. Please can someone help with this? Or had GameTree just not been updated to have this feature? Overall very easy to use and I can’t wait to start posting on the board for raids, multiplayer games, and game nights in Halo or Minecraft.

If you have a lack of friends to play games with or need to round out the raid team, GameTree will work perfectly. Was on it for twenty minutes. That’s including the setup and personality tests. Put in my preferences for people I want to play with, what games I have and play, and found people immediately. If you’ve ever used tinder you know how to use this. A profile pops up, it has a bio made by the profile owner. Games they have in common with you. Their gender and age. And their personality test results (which display the type of gamer they are, ie competitive etc). It also displays what platforms in common they play on. So if you have a pc and an Xbox then you can see if they do too. They also show any social media they choose, like discord. It even tells you how quickly they typically respond to messages. If you feel as though it would be fun to play with them simply add them as a friend. If you don’t just skip them just as easily. Everyone you add can be chatted with. If you have any questions the community managers respond quite fast and are very helpful. I accidentally deleted someone and a community manager by the name of “INFINITE SPRINT” was able to tell me exactly how to add them back, and did so within the hour. I personally have found a new friend to play games with regularly for the past month due to this app. So in short...YES GameTree will help you find some people to dome scrubs in the newest battle royal with.

Have met some interesting people through here, it helps you find people that share similar interests and enjoy similar games so you can find the perfect gaming friends! I absolutely recommend it 😊 has customizable profile options, quizzes to identify the type of gamer that you are and what kind of personality you have so that others may see, you can find game sessions to join and you can rank up in levels too! Give GameTree a go, I’ve met some great peeps through here!

I’ve only been using GameTree for a few hours not but so far it proves to be great! I’ve already met a few people that I hope to start playing Minecraft with soon.

The one and only thing I would like to suggest right now, if you haven’t gotten this request yet, is that for some menus(like the game search menu) the search bar and back button are too high for me to tap on my iPhone 13 Pro Max. I suppose maybe that would be possible to fix in the future? That would be great! But it’s really not too much of a problem at the moment.

I recently downloaded GameTree because it was well organized and it was free. It helped my husband and I find alot of friends to play with on our PlayStations. I highly recommend GameTree to anyone looking for a free app to find fellow gamers. Thank you to the developers of GameTree for creating something to help the gaming community since Sony got rid of communities. The only thing I recommend to the creators to is try to put more games on there for the games we play because some games I play aren’t on there to put on my profile.

Hey i think GameTree is absolutely awesome!! very user friendly and i love the feature where you can search for new players and edit the types your looking for between gender/ age/ platform. Only downside is i was using it to help introduce people to our Xbox community and that’s apparently against the rules. I figured an lfg app would be a perfect place to boost and grow our community and bring new players into our little family. There’s a lot of benefits to being in a community and i think it’s kinda sad they don’t see/ support that. But nonetheless this is a great app to meet new people with similar game interest/ goals so 9/10 would totally recommend ❤️

You get flagged for “spamming” if you send more than one “self promotion” link out per day. So, say you are trying to form a game-specific clan, well if you try and find members (let’s take a random number like say a literal 5 people) and communicate where the Clan is, well too bad my friend you have been flagged for spamming!

It also doesn’t help that most of these profiles are ghosts. I’m guessing people that came and either had similar problems or also realized most of the people on GameTree aren’t active (and you can’t message too much to try and sort through search results, so have fun taking 5 years to find enough people to make a play group.

Garbage app, or really just a garbage mod team. Just browse Reddit or Discord groups you will have better luck.

I’ve made some really close friends.
They have group chats, private chats and a dating portion. The environment is friendly and all content is relevant to gaming. 11/10 do recommend to all people.
While having this I’ve only had to report 1 person for inappropriately messaging me and an app admin actually took the time to reach out to me and check on me! I’ve never had that happen before. I’ve even had them reach out for suggestions to make their app better which is amazing.
