Such a fun way to move around Barcelona. I have a bike, but sometimes I would rather scoot so that I’m not so sweaty when I arrive - plus they scooters are easy to maneuver. Drive safe and pay attention to the busy roads of Barcelona!

Downloaded YEGOMobility in the afternoon, and 10 hours later, they still hadn’t confirmed if my documents were validated. When I tried logging in to check on the status, they kept having me upload my drivers license repeatedly and blocking me from any further steps. Do not use.

Unless you want to spend your time getting IDP (international driving permit) you can’t use it. Weird thing that you can rent a car in Barcelona or use other scooter/bike rentals without IDP (if you driver license in English) but not Yego

I tried to download YEGOMobility they asked for my drivers license 9 times in 4 days. When I finally got A hold of them. They said they did not take non-European drivers license. After that they locked me out of YEGOMobility . Unbelievable!

I had a terrible experience with Yego. I parked the bike on the parking I always use, its a typical motorbike parking spot which happened to be illegal to park that day which i didn't realize so the police towed the bike. Then I received a mail from Yego that I have to pay them 77 euros for the towing costs and an additional 50 euros fee for Yego itself, next to that there will be another fee send to my house from the police and they cannot tell me how much that will be, so basically I'm paying a double fee which to me seems like a lot, especially because the bikes aren't that cheap to start with. Also there is no phone number to call Yego and ask for details so be careful using this service because you will get charged a lot if things go wrong, some of the bikes are in dangerous condition to drive as well, and if something like this happens there is no sympathy towards the driver from Yego so yeah, i wouldn't recommend this service to people anymore. Not after this.
