My #1 recommendation to new parents. This will give you sleep.

I started using this app when my son was about 6 weeks old. It’s the best one I found for tracking things like food, diapers, sleep, etc., and I tried basically all of the free apps. But then when he hit 2 months and Huckleberry started giving me the suggestions for his wake and sleep windows...good god...our lives did a 180 in the best possible way. I’ve never utilized the premium features, only the free app. Within about two weeks of using it after her hit the age where it would make sleep time predictions (2 months), and sticking to the recommended wake windows, my son was sleeping through the night at about 9 or 10 weeks old, and since then he’s had two nights with one wakeup (he’s now 6.5 months). Was it Huckleberry ? I think so. It seems to work like magic. I’m part of a mom group, and we all started using it. Every single person has had the same magical results. Give it about a week of logging everything and really stick to the suggestions and you’ll be amazed. Baby doesn’t seem tired but app says it’s nap time? Try taking baby to their sleep space and marvel at how they will fall asleep. It can read your baby’s mind and you won’t even care that it feels a little creepy and on-the-nose because your child will sleep. I love Huckleberry so much that I’ve put off writing my review because I wanted to make sure I conveyed how wonderful it is. I hope I have!

The app all moms need!

I cannot even begin to tell you how AMAZING Huckleberry is. I have a 10 month old who since 4 months old has had nights where he slept 8 & 9 hours 2 nights back to back only to be followed by 2 weeks of sleeping in 4 hour chunks. Lately, for the past 2 months he would usually wake up 1 time around 3, 4, or 5 am and then wake up for the day at 6 or 7 am. I was tired, exhausted and did NOT know what else to try. I had given up thinking I would finally have a baby that slept through the night and had myself given up on the fact that I would ever sleep 8 hours again. But then a friend recommended me this app, she said she was using it with her 10 month old baby and it was working wonders. Her baby was napping perfectly and she wasn’t having bad nights anymore. I thought I’d give it a try but I wasn’t too convinced since I had tried a lot of things before only to be disappointed. I’ve been using Huckleberry for 15 days now. He’s slept through the night 11 of those nights; the 4 nights he woke up we’re during the first week. I’ve also noticed a change in his naps for the better, he’s been napping for longer period of times. Before he would nap 45 minutes usually. Now he naps for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I HIGHLY recommend Huckleberry to all the moms who are having trouble with their babies/kids in the sleeping department.

Absolute lifesaver!!!

My partner and I found out my 5 month old cousin was in foster care a little over two months and decided to foster him. We are young and have no kids of our own, so this was a brave choice to say the least! The first several weeks were a blur of screaming, resisting sleep, spitting up, and refusing bottles. We were able to improve some of those issues simply with time and with a formula change, but I was just too tired to remember when he last ate or took a nap which made it very hard not to let him get too tired or hungry and grumpy. Especially since I didn’t really know how often he should be getting those things, and EVERYONE had something different to say. Then I thought “there must be an app for that”, and sure enough, I found this app! Originally I was just looking for a place to track everything, but the sweet spot recommendations have changed EVERYTHING!! I didn’t follow them for awhile, thinking I’d try going on instinct, which was a mistake. As soon as I started using the recommended sleep times our baby napped like never before! He went from 20-40 minute cat naps to hour long, restful sleeps!! It’s also so helpful when I’m a zombie at 3am and can’t remember to save my life how long ago he ate. I cannot say enough good things about Huckleberry, especially for new parents!!!

Hugely helpful

We’ve relied on Huckleberry so much for the past 8 months. I love that me and my husband can both link to Huckleberry so we can be on the same page about naps. Sometimes he even checks it while he’s at work to see how our day is going.

Following a general wake time schedule is very effective and having to count the hours on my fingers to figure out when she’s likely to be tired? I can’t even imagine how silly that would become. Instead I log the time she woke up and Huckleberry tells me exactly when she’s going to be tired. So insanely helpful to help me plan my next few hours or my day.

We paid for the premium subscription and getting a customized sleep plan was so nice. It really helped us figure out sleep training and what to do. There’s so much advice out there it can be so confusing. this app gives you options but all their advice is based on science and a logical progression of things that work. The last year has been awful for my sleep but it felt much more manageable with Huckleberry . My daughter is just turning a year old this week and it’s amazing to look through our history on Huckleberry and see how far we’ve come. Thank you this app!

You need this app if you like to sleep!

I found Huckleberry while trying desperately to figure out how to get my baby on a more consistent schedule. I had never heard of it before, but it had high ratings so I decided to try it out. My baby went from 8 hour sleep nights waking up every two hours to 10-12 hour sleep nights waking up every 3-4 hours (he’s only 3 months old so still needs to eat frequently). I took a picture today of the sleep graph for him after only 10 days of using Huckleberry. The first 3 days the patterns are all over the place, but day 4 and on look almost identical with high and consistent night and nap sleep! I also love that you can track feeding and pumping sessions! But mostly I love that you are given the option to be very detailed, like exactly how much pee, what breast you fed on last, how did the baby fall asleep and wake up, so you can predict patterns and follow them! I cannot rave enough about Huckleberry! When my baby goes to daycare in a week I’m glad his provider will also be able to use Huckleberry so we can jointly keep up this seamless routine!

Almost perfect (IMHO)

Huckleberry has been awesome for identifying my 5mo old’s sweet spots for sleep! I was following developmentally appropriate wake windows but there’s such a range that I think I was missing the mark. I would put my baby to sleep awake and she’d often cry and require several paci pops before ultimately falling asleep. I immediately saw a difference after using the recommended sweet spots and I can put her to bed awake, even at night without helping her. The only thing I wish the tracker had was the actual time listed on the main page for the start of sleep and feedings. More so for feedings as it would make it easier for me to know an approximate time to plan for especially if someone else is looking after my baby rather than doing the math with the provided “time since”. Also, for breastfeeding, rather than the last side, it would be easier to see the start side so you know which side to start off on for the next feeding. I use a different app for feeding because of these two items as the other app is a bit more convenient. All in all, I wanted help with sleep so it’s meeting my expectations, I would just love the convenience of using one app instead of two. Thanks!

Better naps, longer sleep!

When my daughter hit 3 months old, it became so difficult to get her to sleep at night. She would fuss and cry for an hour or more before finally settling down. Previously I’d taken for granted her newborn ability to fall asleep anywhere at anytime, so this sudden sleep struggle took me off guard. After reading a few articles I realized that she needed a real nap routine, and I would have to help her fall asleep by noticing her cues before she became overtired.

This is when I looked for a sleep tracking app and found this app. I’ve only ever used the free version, and it’s been a lifesaver! As long as I diligently time my baby’s sleeps, Huckleberry lets me know when to expect the “sweet spot” for her next nap. I’ve used Huckleberry for ten days now, and I can see a definite improvement in that it typically takes only a half an hour or so to put my baby to sleep. We do four naps a day, and she’s almost always in that perfect sleepy-but-not-overtired mode right when this app says to put her down for a nap or bedtime.

If you’re a new mom looking for better sleep, give Huckleberry a try!

Absolute Life Saver!

I don’t know what I would have done for the first year of my daughter’s life without Huckleberry. When we were breastfeeding, it was immensely helpful to track sides and lengths of nursing sessions. But the sleep tracking is AMAZING. Its insane that this is free because I would pay top dollar for this feature. It’s my most used app on my entire phone. I love being able to easily track wake windows, see her trends and habits so I know when to stretch them, and make note of how her sleep is going so I know when to adjust! And the sweet spot has always been absolutely on point and helps us get the baby down to nap or sleep when she’s tired but not overtired so we avoid the dreaded bedtime battle. Huckleberry has been my copilot for a year and I am SO grateful for it. I recommend it to any young mom trying to get a handle on baby sleep and feeding! When you’re a new parent and you’re sleep deprived, you’ll find yourself constantly saying - when did they wake up? When did we give her that last bottle? And you never need to wonder! this app’s got your back!

Update Gone Wrong

Love Huckleberry and it has been so helpful in tracking our baby’s journey so far so we can see the forest through the trees (ie patterns in her sleep) and the wake windows recommendations are spookily spot on.

I wanted to write to say the new updates feel sloppy and rudimentary in visual design - it feels like a regression to a 1.0 look. Biggest complaint is the diapers - great, now I can log pees and poops separately…but mixed diapers is gone and forces me to click more in logging both. What you should’ve done is just added a 2nd “small-medium-large” slider bar inside the mixed diaper instead of completely breaking them apart and getting rid of a mixed diaper all together. Then that would’ve been only 1 extra click.

I don’t get why mixed was replaced by dry diapers. Instead of creating a more efficient mixed tab, it’s replaced with tracking when she’s NOT even doing something? Not helpful. I can feel her or pull her pants aside and visually know. I don’t need a timer and log for that like a daycare legally does.

Love this app!

I’ve been using Huckleberry for 3 weeks to help my baby’s sleep and I love it! She was 2.5 months when we started and now she’s 3 months and 1 week. My initial concern was getting her to nap regularly and Huckleberry really helped with that. The free version told me when the next time she would be tired. I don’t have to think or calculate what time is her next nap- I just look at Huckleberry now and it’s pretty much always accurate. I paid $15 for the customized sleep plan which I think is well worth it. I’ve learned so much about my baby’s sleep and why things work the way they work. My baby has been able to independently sleep on her own for naps and bedtimes about 80% of the time. She is still waking up twice a night to feed but by just sticking to Huckleberry , making sure she naps when she’s supposed to nap, and consistently having her fall asleep on her own, I’m hopeful that she will be able to sleep through the night in no time :)

My most used app and the timer to track sleep is very easy to use.

Lifesaver!!! Seriously the best!!

If you’re a new mom, DOWNLOAD Huckleberry. If you had your baby three weeks or three months ago, DOWNLOAD Huckleberry. I can’t even begin to describe how game-changing Huckleberry has been for me. The sweet spot times are SPOT ON. I’m able to plan my day better (nap time at 9:30? Perfect, we’re leaving for the grocery store then) and putting him down for a nap isn’t a struggle because he’s ready! I’ve paid for premium though unless you’re having issues with your baby sleeping, I don’t think you’ll need it. We currently co-sleep and I know it’ll be helpful when we’re ready to transition him to his crib.

My only gripe (and it’s a small one) is that I’d like Apple Watch integration at some point. A lot of times I’ll sit down to feed my son and my phone is out of reach so I can’t start the timer (and I use the timer religiously because of his reflux) but I almost always have my watch on, so it’d be nice to be able to start the timer on my watch.

Other than that, I LOVE Huckleberry!

Sanity saver

As parents of a colicky baby, it was so difficult for us to decipher why our little guy was crying, because it was pretty much all the time. When you're exhausted, it's impossible keeping track of when they ate last, when they slept last, when they pooped last. Enter this app, and it saved our sanity. My husband and I both have Huckleberry on our phones so we can log naps/feedings easily. The + screen shows you the last time your baby ate, napped, had a dirty diaper, and you can even log medicines or create your own. It helped us keep track of Tylenol doses after his vaccinations. The Sweet Spot feature is the best part. Our little guy doesn't have a schedule, but it predicts the time we should try to soothe him to sleep before he gets overtired (and fussy!) I would recommend Huckleberry to anyone! After using Huckleberry for a month, I also paid for a sleep analysis to get some tips before we started daycare, and they sent some very helpful information. It was worth the money! Thank you for developing Huckleberry!

Great tool, helps us stay sane!

My cousin who became a FTM just a few months before me strongly recommended Huckleberry. I downloaded it a few days before birth and explored a little, but didn’t think much of it until I started breastfeeding and couldn’t keep track of time or which boob was next on very little to no sleep in the hospital. Huckleberry was so helpful with that.

I started using the diaper changing feature as well. I didn’t track the baby’s sleep time religiously until he was a few weeks old then the sweet spot kicked in when he turned 2 months which has been scarily spot on! Temperature and medicine tracker came in handy when he got his first virus. I’ve also kept track his growth stats whenever we visited the doctor.

All of these trackers in one app! I love it. Even my own dad who thought my cousin and I were crazy for obsessing with Huckleberry ended up liking it especially when he cares for my LO one day a week while we’re working. It has been a great tool not only for my LO, but for the whole family.

Even the free version is top-notch

It’s very easy to avoid the in-app purchase with this one, to the extent that I’m worried this product will stop being free at some point. I would nonetheless pay for what I’m getting at the basic level. Not only is my 3-month-old sleeping better than ever, the peace of mind I get from knowing exactly when her next nap should be helps me organize my day. Definitely helps me to record and reflect, and make my own decisions about her sleep. Even if you don’t keep to the naps exactly on time, figuring out that you’re late helps you to recognize your baby’s signals and learn from them (at least, it did for me). I only wish it provided a forecast for the rest of the day’s sleep schedule, especially since it seems mostly to just follow a rule of standardized waking times.

I’m not sure the nursing timer is any better than others you can find, but what really matters here, of course, is the sleep-related stuff. The rest of the tools (diaper and pumping logs, for example) are bonuses.

Help for a sleep deprived mom!

I’ve tried numerous apps to track various data points since my son was born and I found this one to be the best. The developers made this so easy to use and the dashboard is very well designed. I love how I can customize what is displayed and even change the backdrop to a dark view. There is nothing worse that waking up throughout the night and staring at a bright white screen. The “sweet spot” feature has been a life saver for me! Trying to manage a toddler while taking care of my baby while sleep deprived left me with limited cognitive functioning. With the sweet spot, it took the guessing out of when naps times should be and helped me to remember to put my son down for naps. The last feature that stood out for me is the sleep averages. It took the data and visualizes it for me so it would be easier to compare my sons sleep each day. Huckleberry is packed with so many useful features and helped me survive the newborn phase.

Best app for tracking all things baby!

They have really thought about just about everything on Huckleberry! All of the functionality you could want (even has light/dark mode so the white isn’t too bright during night time feedings!) and Huckleberry is very intuitive. Only thing I would like is an option to add something miscellaneous to the schedule, like a bath. I have a hard time remembering which day I last gave her a bath lol so it would be nice to be able to add that in through a miscellaneous option. Right now I track it in the “Notes” section of the temperature option because I don’t take her temperature very often. Overall though if you need an app to track sleep, eating, etc. this is the one to use! My baby is too young for the sweet spot but once she gets a little older I’m excited to see how that works as well. She sleeps pretty good so I am not going to pay for premium at this point but if she starts struggling with getting sleep I may be willing to pay for it!

The ONLY baby app you need!

I would like to say a sincere thank you to the this app team. You have changed our life, and made the time with my infant more enjoyable bc he’s not nearly as fussy anymore!

Perks of Huckleberry :
- predict and track baby’s next optimal nap or nighttime sleep down the the precise minute
- keep perfect track of baby’s wake windows and watch their sleep/wake patterns emerge in one nifty chart!
- log and chart feeding sessions, pumping sessions, medication dosages/times, diaper outputs, and more!
- chart/track as many above the features as you want (I only track sleep for now with my 7mo old)
- can track more than one child

If you are a parent, you should know that minding your child’s wake windows is the difference between a good day with your little (even a difficult temperament one like mine!) and a disastrous one.

This extraordinary app, which I started using around the 3 month mark, not only started revealing my baby’s sleep/wake patterns, but also could help me predict the optimal nap time TO THE MINUTE. Not just sometimes, but I’d say about 95% of the time. This is absolutely incredible, and my extremely fussy baby suddenly became far more manageable. Because Huckleberry lets me know approximately when baby is due for sleep again, I know how much time I have to get everything I get done.

My infant is now 7 months and we still live by Huckleberry! IT IS A MUST FOR YOUR BABY ARSENAL!!

Huckleberry Saved My Sanity!!

this app literally saved my sanity! I love Huckleberry so so much. I became a first time mom in March and my baby was a n i g h t m a r e about sleeping, especially naps. It took over an hour to get her down to sleep, and she wouldn’t stay asleep. I was at the end of my rope and a friend recommended Huckleberry to track sleep. Turns out I was just completely missing my baby’s sleep windows and she was an overtired mess. I’ve used Huckleberry for about two and a half months and our lives are SO much easier. I follow Huckleberry ’s suggested “sweet spot” nap times and it takes five to ten minutes to get her to nap and naps are so much more consistent and longer. Do yourself a favor and download it! Love love Huckleberry!

It also has a diaper and feeding tracker, but I don’t personally use those features. They do seem very helpful though, and if I had Huckleberry when I first brought baby home I would have for sure used those features.

Love but I do have a request...

I love Huckleberry to track everything for my baby boy. I love that I can see when his next predicted nap should be or how long it’s been since he’s had a bottle or diaper change. As an exclusively pumping mama I love the ability to set reminders for when I need to pump again. It keeps me on track and on a schedule which helps with my milk output. I would like to request for some more attention be put into the pumping as aspect of Huckleberry though. Like for instance maybe put the pumping total or averages for the day on the day page. I like to try and see if at any point in the day I’ve pumped as much as I normally do, more, or less. If I have a day where I’m not hitting my average output then I know I need to fit in another pump or add a power pump. Sometimes us “pumpin mamas” get lost in the mix because everyone assumes the only two options are nursing or formula. I think Huckleberry would go from A to A+ if it had some attention put into the pumping section.

Life saver

Huckleberry is incredible. It can be really hard to find a good sleep routine for a baby and everyone seems to have an opinion on what to do or not do and it ends up being very confusing. Huckleberry lets you identify your own goals and then sets a plan customized to your goals and preferences instead of forcing you to do something you don’t think will be right for your family. Huckleberry is very user friendly and I haven’t encountered any bugs. A friend told he about Huckleberry and she waited rather than paid for the advice because she wasn’t sure if it would be worth the money, and after I spoke to her and got Huckleberry , I paid for the quicker response and it was worth EVERY PENNY. Within days of using the tips we say improvement, with my six month old going from a horrible regression of 10 wakenings a night to two or three (which I customized as being ok for me, but I’m sure you can say no to that if that’s your preference). Love, love, LOVE this app!

By

Loved it but...

The notes part of Huckleberry has been VERY glitchy for weeks now, as I type it’s like someone hits the delete button in the middle of me typing, it sometimes takes me 3-4 tries to type a single letter because it will quickly erase it. It’s tricky enough logging stuff with a baby in my arms, fighting with this glitch doesn’t help. Can take me several minutes to write a few words with this issue! This only happens in Huckleberry, so it is definitely Huckleberry and not my phone.
Also, I wish there was a way to REALLY customize the input categories. When my son was very young he spit up A LOT - which can really affect how much he ends up with in his belly after a feeding. Wish I could have added a category to log things like that because it didn’t always happen right after a feeding where I would add it as a note on that feeding. It’d be nice if there was an option to make your own categories- maybe even come up with responses to check off like the current categories. But I’d be happy enough just adding notes throughout the day that aren’t part of another event.
Side note to last bug fix - download update that fixed bug where nursing timer continues after being paused which I don’t think ever happened for me, but I was hoping maybe the update might fix the typing bug..... my app has a NEW issue of the timer continuing after I pause it 🤦🏻‍♀️

Amazing. Wish I knew of this sooner.

I read a few reviews of this app and seriously laughed in anger. Boohoo, your baby only sleeps in 4 hour stretches! I have a 6 month old, who prior to downloading Huckleberry only slept in TWO hour stretches all day all night. Actually, day naps were 30-60 min on average. Then night sleep = up every 2 hrs.

I had been tracking his sleep in a note pad in hopes of figuring out a pattern, then thought “there must be an app for that” enter: this app. What a saving freaking grace. Since following the sweetspot feature we’ve figured out his optimal wake windows which has resulted in better day naps and night time sleep. Let’s knock on wood, but the last 3 nights have been magical. He would sleep 7 hrs the first stretch from bed time (645pm ish) and then up again 4 hours later. He’s up for the day around 5:50-6am, so we are working on a later morning rise, but overall OMG. I feel human again. Thank you.

Nap time has returned!! 🙌🏻

Thank the lawd for the good people at the this app Sleep app/Baby Sleep Science. My husband and I used their services via Huckleberry twice-at roughly 12 mos and 18 mos for our little guy, who had always been a decent night sleeper and TERRIBLE napper. That said, I wish I’d had Huckleberry earlier on, when I started to structure nap times around 7-8 months. I’m a SAHM and while I have a background in early childhood ed, I was not prepared for how much confusion and self-doubt could come along with ensuring proper sleep habits for my son. this app was a lifesaver-we charted sleep patterns for about 7-10 days each time, answered some really thorough and thought provoking questions and were rewarded with a detailed, cohesive plan for remediating our son’s disordered nap patterns. As I write this, my almost 19 month old is cozy and snoozing for his afternoon nap which now averages 2 hours a day. Sweet sweet rest time for mama!

In short, I HIGHLY recommend Huckleberry for all parents!

Great investment!

I finally gave in and paid for a monthly subscription and I am so glad I did! I’ve really enjoyed using the free version, logging my 6 month olds sleep and following the “sweet spot” suggestions for nap times. The paid subscription gave me such good, practical and down to earth advice! I feel like I have so many tools now as I begin to work with him on reducing his night time wakings and feedings as well as lengthening his daytime naps.
I also like Huckleberry because it gives options for gentle approaches without making me feel like I’m crazy for not wanting to do the “cry it out” method.
I actually feel excited for this journey! $14 is really nothing compared to what some sleep experts charge for their programs! It seems very worth it to me! Now... fingers crossed that I see some progress with my sons sleep!!!!

By

My favorite sleep tracker EVER (free version)

I can’t speak to the subscription service with the sleep tips, but what I mostly use this for is the “sweet spot” feature. It tells you the best time to lay your kid down so that they’re not A. Not tired enough, or B. Too over-tired and hyper (like my daughter gets.) And it’s been right for the whole week I’ve been using it! You can use the same account across multiple devices, so phone/iPad, or someone else’s phone like a spouse/babysitter/family member. You can even set up notifications to alert you when they’re going to be sleepy soon, and you can adjust the time for the alerts to give you plenty of time to get home, have a snack, etc. Love it, love it, love it.

Wasted $20

When you’re a parent desperate to get everyone’s sleep schedule on track, you do things like pay $20 for a sleep expert to “help” you—pronto. Yes, you could opt for the free version... if you’d like to wait 12 business days. But as I’m sure the brains behind Huckleberry suspected, desperate parents will pay $20 for a response in 2 business days. The “help” I was given was generic information I could have (and have) googled about typical baby/toddler sleep schedules and routines. The information we received was by no means life changing, and honestly not really helpful at all. Our little one’s sleep patterns are still so unpredictable and all over the place. We put our little one down at the scheduled time recommended by this app and we’re going on 90+ minutes of her playing, crying and not sleeping. But if I want to contact this app again for help they will just keep charging my card. I honestly can not recommend Huckleberry to anyone desperate for sleep or a semi regular schedule. I wanted so badly to love it and for this to be the answer, but... nope!

First time baby made EASY

First baby, don’t know what I’m doing. Thank goodness for this app. No joke, it makes parenting an infant SO much easier. Always knowing when the next nap is is invaluable. Plus, Huckleberry is accurate DOWN TO THE MINUTE! 30 minutes ago my son got fussy, but I knew his nap wasn’t for another 25 minutes, so I was able to focus on what else could be going on. Because we track his feeding, I also knew it wasn’t time for a bottle. Turns out his diaper needed changing and he was uncomfortable. Then, he fell asleep on the exact moment Huckleberry said he would. I mean, what else do you need? When people as for parenting advice, I only say “get the this app app.” This is the greatest app of all time.

By

Great app to help your child sleep better!

We highly recommend Huckleberry! Our two toddlers went through a period when they would try to delay bedtime, get up multiple times in the middle of the night and wake us up, or rise up earlier than usual (even before sunrise). We put in our son's sleep times and answered some questions about his habits and routines, and then we received very detailed recommendations on what to do to help our kids go to bed and stay in bed. Within two weeks, the nighttime wakings became less frequent, and now it no longer happens. Our kids get more sleep, which means we also get more sleep! Huckleberry is also very easy to use and visually appealing.

The app can’t add

I like the sweet spot notifications which let me know the best time to put my daughter down for a nap. I’ve been aiming to help her sleep between 14-16 hours a day which is why I downloaded Huckleberry . Which brings me to my issue with Huckleberry - when you click on the “summary” tab and select a day you’ve recorded, it gives you the total number of hours slept for the day- which is actually tallied incorrectly. I went back to the “list” tab and counted the amount of hours of sleep she had under yesterday’s date and came to 13, but then the summary tab lists her total as ten. For the last week I have been relying on the summary tab to see whether she met her sleep goals for that day and all along the hours listed under summary didn’t match with the hours logged. I was making parenting decisions with my infant based on an app that can’t do basic math

Apple Watch co-application?!

I love Huckleberry! Though I thoroughly believe in trusting my “mom-instincts” Huckleberry sure is nice when you have a toddler, part-time job, and need to remember feeding and sleeping intervals for your infant.
We even did the sleep analysis and it’s very helpful.
I just wish there was an Apple Watch component when my phone isn’t within reach. With my extreme mom-brain it’s super efficient to record as I’m doing each task (which I could do quickly with my Apple Watch) rather than estimating and backtracking when I finally have my phone.
Thank you this app! Your features are intuitive, helpful, and a great record of my little one’s progress!❤️

Free version is a great sleep tracker

This review is just for the free part of Huckleberry. I’ve really appreciated having an easy to use baby sleep sleep tracker and I’ve found the sweet spot (nap time) predictions to be fairly accurate. Sometime it is spot on and sometimes my son is ready to nap 20-25 minutes before the given time. (He’s a baby, not a robot after all!). So, when used in conjunction with reading his sleep cues, it’s been really helpful. I have not yet paid for the sleep consultant advice portion of Huckleberry . Since this is my third kid and I’ve already read a couple books on infant sleep, I’m guessing they would probably tell me stuff I already know.

New UI Color Pallete

I love Huckleberry and have recommended it to several up until this new UI upgrade. While the color palette may look more appealing from an aesthetic perspective, from a functional perspective it is very difficult to decipher the difference in these colors that are so close in shade. Particularly, the lime green for naps and hot pink for feedings were just easier to identify quickly in the calendar chart. Now everything just gets lost on the chart and I can only immediately see the bar for night sleep because it is the longest. Everything else just blends together. The key on the calendar page is no longer there so after the colors changed I don’t even have a quick reference for what all these similar looking colors mean, ex: orange, gold, brown, what are these colors referencing now?
Old color UI was so much better!

Life changing

Huckleberry literally changed my life. My 7 month old was taking erratic, very short naps and it was driving me crazy. He was also waking once or twice a night to eat but that wasn’t bothering me as much. However! After 1 week of using Huckleberry he started taking regular 90 min naps AND sleeping through the night!! He is now 12 months and still going strong with his sleep. I have told all my mom friends about it and they’ve had similar results. I can not recommend this enough. I never even did the paid option, but I’m sure if the free app isn’t working well enough, it’s worth it.
