When you start a trip MyCar knows the day and time…however when you go to close the trip with the ending mileage MyCar still reads the starting day and time. MyCar needs to change to current day and time EVERY time we open the trip window which will save a BUNCH of time! Another needed fix… when you fill in the Notes when starting or closing a trip, MyCar doesn’t start the sentence with a capital letter! What program on earth doesn’t know to start a sentence with a capitalized letter? And…let’s say you forget to add a service like new tires I purchased a month ago and decide to add it at a later date…NOPE! The system won’t allow you to add a mileage that is less than the most recent mileage as in when I bought gasoline yesterday. MyCar truly has some amazing problems that you would think would be easy to fix!

Update: Note when trying to add a reminder, MyCar won’t allow me to add a reminder from the past!!! in other words, I want to add a reminder at the mileage 102,219 and I’m over 103,000 now…OMG MyCar is SO BAD, it has motivated me to make a mileage tracking app that works!

Love MyCar but it was ruined for me once it started to prompt to subscribe every time i use it. I have zero interest in backing up data in cloud storage and yet am prompted for it every time now. I would happily pay a one time amount for an app, but have no interest in this subscription crazy era of software. I will find another app to use.

App looks cool and just what I need but the only paid options are recurring subscriptions, despite the IAP section showing a basic upgrade for a flat $2.99. I never do any app subscriptions so I specifically look before downloading… felt this was misrepresented.

MyCar is actually pretty cool. I don’t like that they hide the free version limitations. I got a notice that I need to upgrade when I tried to create a second “reminder” for future service. This cheesy hide-the-ball surprise tactic is NOT appreciated. Wasted lots of time on data entry before this limit was discovered.

Love the design and flow of this vehicle manager but the premium version is a subscription service. I have no problems paying for software like this once. I have no problems paying a subscription when there is a monthly service being provided but in this case it looks like it’s just greedy developers.

Really like MyCar after trying several others. The layout is intuitive and it looks very clean. Nicely done.

There are m only two things I would improve if I could. 1) the fields don’t save prior entries, so I have to re-type the name of a gas station or repair shop each time I fill up. That’s annoying because a drop down menu would be much faster and convenient. 2) a family account should allow more than two people to use MyCar without upgrading to a business fleet account. I recommend up to 6. We have 5 cars and 5 drivers in our home and I delegate the maintenance and fuel to all of them, so I would like to have them all participate in tracking stuff.

I like MyCar and being able to link on my desktop but can no longer do so. When I try to log in I receive the message “Premium is not active on this account”. I look at my account on my phone snd my Premium account is recognized. I can’t find an answer on the support page. This worked fine when I first got it but now is terribly frustrating.

Having used MyCar enough to really rate it fairly. My first thoughts are it is a quick and easy to use app without a lot of unnecessary options. The one complaint that I have so far is the font size, it needs to be a heavier font. It would be nice to select different fonts or at least have the font improved. If I don't continue the premium version it is because of the font!

MyCar is well worth the money. I have the paid version and it is what I use to keep track of all my business expenses and the money that the truck makes, all I can say is this my car app is awesome and it even gives you a well, detailed profit, and loss report and will protect your fuel mileages. You can even separate trips, so many things you can do with it.

I use MyCar to track my cars and understand their operations! I also use this to track maintenance!

Easily track fuel purchases, mileage/trips, repairs and other costs. Always know where you are with vehicle value.

It’s a great digital log book. For keeping track of everything.

This is the best vehicle tracking app that I’ve ever used. And I’ve used a lot of them. I love it. It tracks everything you might like to track.

I used to keep a list in the notes on my phone, this is a great replacement!

Not an easy start up. Added new car to new app. Can’t do anything but was able to pay and upgrade. Now what. Think I’ll just cancel if it’s going to be that difficult.

MyCar has helped me keep track of my auto expenses and maintenance. I love the reminders and being able to graph the data. Being able to pull hard data for total cost of ownership is very helpful.

I've used this application for years while on windows phone. When I was forced to move to an iPhone, I was disappointed to believe I would have to find a new app for tracking fuel and maintenance. Since MyCar is new to the world of apple, it does not yet float to the top of the list of search results. Make no mistake, Markku has been refining the functionally for years on other platforms. Five stars!

This Vehicle Maintenance Log Book does everything I could ask for. It keeps track of all my gas and maintenance expenditures and it reminds me of all the maintenance items that are due. It allows me to keep photos of my receipts for future reference and detailed reminder notes. Not much more I could ask for.
