I cancelled when my free trial was up yet they still charged me 70 bucks.

I was looking forward to using Grammatisch, but they only give you a 7 day free trial (you have to input your credit card information first). I wished that they would at least offer some free lessons with ads, than to have users pay for a subscriptions to even be able to use it.

Any app that attempts to take $64 immediately after opening is a scam. A “free trial” that charges $64 after a week is inexcusable

No lessons, no explanations or help. You just answer and will tell you t the end what the right answer was. Pretty useless, I have books that do better job of teaching. WAY overpriced. I’d like a refund please.

Only useful as a quiz. Correct answers aren’t shown until the end of the full set of exercises, so not useful as a learning tool.

I do wish you didn’t have to download Grammatisch and waste Internet bandwidth in order to find out that they want an egregious amount per year.

1. Need to give immediate correct answer!
2. At end of exercise they should gray out wrong answers to deemphasize (but still keep red X next to it) and BOLD correct in green. Psychologically it will help to encode correct answers in brain. Currently the bold red draws attention to incorrect answers and the brain and encodes that rather than right (because it is a soft gray).

The program is great and it is really helpful for learning german. However, the program keeps crashing. Every time I want to use it I have to redownload it. Thankfully Grammatisch saves my progress each time but I can only even use 30 minutes at a time. Hopefully this can be fixed soon.

Duolingo was not explaining the rules well or giving me the kind of practice I need to memorize grammar patterns. I was looking for a second, more grammar-focused app to supplement it, and all the conversational-practice ones people rave about were not hitting that for me. This is exactly what I needed. Subtracting a star mostly for some presentation issues, including the way it divides problem-batches, which doesn't make sense and will make memorization harder. (200+? Seriously?) Overall, though, was very relieved to find this and expect to keep it past the trial week. Maybe someday, conversation-apps...

This is a great resource for practicing grammar, which complements the vocab practice in Duolingo. The only downside is that there isn’t much explanation included. There’s a quick overview of each topic but not any nuance or explanation of wrong answers- for example the plurals section has a ton of practice questions for umlauts but doesn’t have any instruction on when to use umlauts. If you are learning the language with some other source and want something to practice, I think Grammatisch serves that purpose well (disclaimer, I’m barely into learning German so I can’t comment on how accurate the information is)

This is pretty good! A bit challenging. I don’t know what else to say.

I would like Grammatisch better if The words had English translation with them.

This is a great app, but there are so many words that as a beginner I don’t understand . Please add translations that would make it a 5 star app

It was mostly great except it does not tell you how to say it or like Siri says it so that is one thing they could change but overall it is a good app.

I feel as though it would be better if on the practices it would tell you what you did wrong instead of just saying WRONG!.

Easy to learn. Successful exercises.

Grammatisch is great. But there is room for lots of improvements.
1.show answer immediately after you’ve answered it.
2.add more courses, e.g the passiv sentenced

Needed a review of German grammar and instead of looking up bits and pieces online Grammatisch was a great review! I look forward to it being expanded on.
