Hello, I am in the San Francisco bay area. Our AQI is high today but windy.com doesn't seem to reflect this. Is there an issue?

Hi, I've been using Windy(ty) for a long time. It has been an excellent tool! It worked perfectly until a few days ago, when it stopped working on my laptop (Dell XPS 15 laptop, running Windows 11). It just displays a blank gray screen, and no icons are enabled. I tried several browses, but all behave identically. Hope someone can explain this and suggest a fix (preferably before we sail from Eden to Tasmania across the Bass Strait). Cheers, Ben

Opens app in colour then when zoom goes grey and white with wind direction arrows filling screen. I am using Samsung tab.

How to fix Windy.com app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Windy.com app on iPhone
Update Windy.com app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Windy.com iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Windy.com on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Windy.com network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Fix Windy.com not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Windy.com App
1. On android, goto Settings » Windy.com » click [Force Stop]

Update Windy.com to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Windy.com App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Windy.com » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Windy.com.

Fix Windy.com unable to contact server/ Windy.com internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Windy.com » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Windy.com » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Windy.com
