eMembership Card Reviews

eMembershipCard is great, but definitely could use some fixes. I work at one of the museums on eMembershipCard and it’s super helpful for customers to be able to pull up their cards for a much faster check in, HOWEVER - it is so frustrating when they pull up their cards, and every time they need to turn their brightness up in order to scan. eMembershipCard should automatically turn brightness up when a card is showing, like how apple wallet does. Also - people commonly are confused with the clicking just to get to their cards. We deal with this every day and these little fixes could make it so much easier for people to use eMembershipCard and for us museum employees to admit people in.

I followed the directions for joining/renewal my membership at the OKC Myriad Gardens.

The system accepted my money and I have a receipt but it never downloaded or gave me an option to down load. The system says I have an expired membership on line. I have called and the recording says that due to volume of calls it could be 1-3 days. I have spent a total of 30 minutes on line trying to get my cards and over 40 minutes leaving messages. Waiting on a call back from customer service. It is much easier to just join and pay at the museum/garden/organization.

Application is completely worthless. You open eMembershipCard and it just cycles and then says “no record found”; the screen shows no options to choose from (the page where you choose the institute/zoo is blank) and the search option shows no results. This happened on 2 different phones trying to get the passes we just purchased. So I guess we have to find tech support or request a refund.

Unable to get app to work at all on my wife’s phone! All it does is spin loading institutions. Have tried multiple times. Uninstalled and reinstalled without any luck. Have powered phone down and retried without luck!!

Your app on my phone works fine for basic functions. However most of the apps menus do not function.

What a crappy app! What kind of quality testing have you performed? Any? 🥸

Love being able to pull out my phone to gain admission instead of rifling through all my membership cards. Great idea!

I’m editing my previous review because whatever problem it had was fixed. My family’s cards finally download and all is well. Looks like a nice, simple alternative to physical cards. It’s good to not have yet another thing thickening my wallet.

I loved the idea of e membership card! But eMembershipCard is buggy. I have a family membership with multiple names registered. The first name works fine - I could add to my iPhone wallet without any problem. When I try to navigate to second user using my iPhone XR, eMembershipCard would crash. Now I have to resort to using my physical membership card until this bug is fixed.

I used eMembershipCard successfully for a year, but after renewing my membership at the museum, eMembershipCard now says my membership has expired and it will not let me use my cards. They have look me up manually every time I visit, which is weekly. I tried deleting eMembershipCard and reinstalling but no luck. Guess I will just delete eMembershipCard permanently because it’s useless.

eMembershipCard never loads for me to access my membership cards. It just continuously sounds like it’s loading and nothing ever comes up. Was unable to take my children on a promised trip to the nature center today due to the cards not loading once we got there.

Descanso Gardens is absolutely beautiful — walking and hiking here has been good for my physical and my emotional health. Thank you!!!

Just downloaded it and loaded my membership card. So far so good.

The exciting part is that this is the first app I’ve ever found that doesn’t spy on me. It collects no data.

Downloaded eMembershipCard because our local children’s museum decided to phase out physical membership cards. Half and hour of trouble shooting with membership services, still.L not working. Just another worthless app to take space on my phone.

eMembershipCard works great. I wish all my memberships could be in a single app like this. More institutions need to sign up.

It is a pleasure not to look for a membership card in my wallet!

Just renewed our membership and cards show in eMembershipCard , but I get an error message trying to load them to the wallet app.

I just purchased a membership for our museum and when I downloaded eMembershipCard to get my digital card it comes up blank and says no results found when I try to search for my museum.

Either I am using this wrong, or it does not hold your info, so you have to enter it each time. After the first 2 times, it could not find me again

I’ve been in touch with the museum and they cannot understand why I can’t load my membership cards. I’ve been trying for two days. They have to send me paper cards now.

I’ve used eMembershipCard for years and love it. Recently however it’s changed and I can’t access any membership cards.

eMembershipCard allows the membership card to be added to apple wallet. It shows the barcode and info on the phone wallet. However, the card from the wallet on an Apple Watch only shows info and no barcode. This makes it useless to use on the Apple Watch. When will this be available for the Apple Watch with showing the barcode?

The most recent update messed up the add wallet option. It’s no longer on eMembershipCard . But other than that I love eMembershipCard ! Please fix soon!

My membership did not automatically update in eMembershipCard after I renewed. I had to uninstall eMembershipCard , and reenter my constituent number and last name. New pass showed up, but it still did not update in Apple wallet. So, I deleted the expired pass from Apple wallet. Now the “add to wallet” button does not show up in eMembershipCard. Using iphone 13 Pro. Frustrating.

I want to use eMembershipCard , except it’s has something that says “Loading Institutions” with the wheel. Except nothing is loading. All my other apps works fine. Trying to find sources to troubleshoot and nothing. Very frustrating. Please show instructions on how to troubleshoot.

Works as expected but the add to wallet button seems to have gone missing.

Not sure how to report bugs, but app crashes when I click on membership benefits
