As soon as I decided to have a look at this app they charged me $24 for the TRIAL VERSION. When I emailed them to complain about being charged I did receive a quick response. They stated “ i must have known I was going to be charged as I’m required to hit a button several times confirming my purchase.”So I’m an idiot in other words is what she is saying (I didn’t confirm anything but the trial version by the way). Then the response goes on to say I should have read the fine print!
So when you see trial version here it doesn’t look like you’ll be charged for it just like the other free trial versions. They let me know it doesn’t say “free trial”. They were right. I wonder how many people they tricked like this. It’s such a slimy used car tactic it makes me sick.
So when you deal with the sneaky creators of this thieving app be sure to read all of the fine print with your lawyer so they don’t take your house when you try the trial version of their app. I was so put off that I canceled the app without ever opening it. Turns out it wasn’t even actually canceled. So I have to go read the fine print on that also I guess or they may charge me for a years worth.

I was looking at several relationship management iOS apps that will fit my needs. I was interested in trying this as it was a free trial. I woke up the next day and was billed for a month. I contacted Apple and they stated I had to work with the developer/company to get a refund. I had a sales rep reach out to me and see how I was doing with the app. I emailed him back to ask for a refund due to this was a free trial and I have received no response. Imagine that! The free trial is misleading for folks and I am upset that they have not even acknowledged my concern or offered a solution. I caution anyone trying this app that there is not a free trial! Misleading marketing!

I wanted to like this because it was touted as an “Apple” focused CRM but it is terrible. I imported 2,200 contacts from my IOS address book and none of my “leads” was associated with any company. In addition, the layout of the information is not intuitive and lacks the ability to customize.
The mapping is complete garbage and does not show any of my contacts on a map. If Geolocation is important to you in a CRM checkout Zoho (has a free option), Haystack (has a free option), Zendesk Sell and Pipedrive.
The above 4 CRMs I mentions are much much better than GroCRM.
