My name isKaren Shea. I’m trying to get a refill of pregabalin from Publix on Lake Mary Blvd in Lake Mary Florida. I’m leaving on a trip for a month and I need my medication. My prescription is not showing in the app. I had my doctor call it in.

This app is full of errors and delays. Rarely does this app do what it is supposed to. Prescriptions will say “Ready for pickup” then when you try and use “Pay Now” it changes it to “pending” therefore, you can’t prepay. That wouldn’t be an issue but I was trying to get my prescriptions delivered. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, logged out and then logged back in several times. Then, it still showed “pending” with no prepay options. On the fourth try, it just had a pop up that said, “Sorry, something went wrong. Call customer care.”
I called customer care and after spending about 20 minutes on the phone with the CSR trying to get the app to work, eventually she said to bypass the app and go directly to the website. I did that and after three attempts and got the pay now button. (this was because it kept logging me back into the app. I finally had to delete the app and that’s how I got it to work) I needed my prescriptions today desperately. When I got to the deliver option, they can’t deliver until tomorrow.
The CSR was nice but had I known that I couldn’t get this delivered today, I would have saved about an hour of my time, 2 calls to my local pharmacy, 1 call to tech support, uninstalling and reinstalling the app 4 times and trying to get on the website 3 times. It’s a shame because everyone at Publix is very nice & helpful but this app looks bad on Publix.

After you log into the app, 1-2 minute loading time. Want to view your prescriptions? 1-2 minute loading time. Need to refill a prescription? 1-2 minute loading time to get to the confirmation screen. Hit confirm. 1-2 minute loading time. Then it takes you out of the prescription screen, so it’s another 1-2 minute loading time if you need to look at your prescriptions that you already waited 1-2 minutes to see.
Honestly, it’s probably faster to get dressed, get in your car, drive to Publix, wait in line at the pharmacy, and speak to a pharmacy employee to refill your prescriptions.
Also, since I see many developer responses asking for a phone call: No. I will not waste my time calling you to help you fix your app that you were and are paid to make correctly in the first place. I remember using the Internet in the early 90s with a 14.4 modem, and web pages loaded faster than this app. You must have to really screw up to make an app this slow.

I would love nothing more than to come back and change this review to 5 stars, but as of 3-4 weeks ago I’ve not been able to use this app. My husband as well. It won’t open anymore, just spins as if it’s loading. We have a special needs child with several ongoing prescriptions on top of our own, so we’ve relied on this app heavily for the last several years. Publix is the BEST at everything they do, and we LOVE Publix pharmacy, so PLEASE spend the money to get this fixed ASAP…it’s just what Publix does. We have brand new iPhones, we’ve tried both with and without WiFi to use the app, and have tried deleting the app completely and reinstalling. iOS is up to date. Please please please fix this app. I’m happy to give additional feedback or information that would help the developers from a user perspective. It worked great previously!
