Rooam - good idea bad execution. About the app - I noticed that I was charged for drinks I didn’t purchase. The app DOES NOT offer a way to view a breakout of the charges to better understand nor a link to customer service, instructions for erroneous charges. Now about vendor responsiveness - this occurred over a month ago. Rooam indicated that they would make sure they were removed from my Rooam account. Over a month later still have the charges on my account ($69 accrued over $1 month ago).

Buggy app overcharges with no accountability

I’ve used this app twice and had terrible experiences both times. Recently I tried to enter a custom tip of $2, but instead it charged me $20 and closed out the tab before I could review the total.

Customer service never responded. When I disputed part of the charge with my CC, they put a ton of effort into making sure they kept my unintended tip.

Beware that if you have a problem with this app, you’ll have no recourse.

Gotta be able to review tab before paying

I forgot to close my tab, and the app reminded me a few hours later. I went to pay it, but was only presented the total, and not the itemized tab it was showing throughout the night.

I was uncomfortable paying it without being able to see the detailed tab, because it seemed too high. After I paid, I was able to see it, but it needs to be reviewable at the time of payment. Dock two stars for that.
