I paid for Joode . The next thing that happens Joode gets stuck at the pronunciation portion of ح, because there are screen elements outside of the screen. Then I mosey on over to Joode Store for support, only to find out that Joode developer expects me to use Facebook to contact him. I don’t use Facebook. I want a refund!

Nothing happens on the pronunciation screens. I can't get past them.

Here is the Arabic alphabet: ا ب ت ث ج ح خ د ذ ر ز س ش ص ض ط ظ ك ى ل م ن و ة ي ء there are 30 letters in Arabic and you don’t know all of the Arabic letters. This is why I am giving Joode 3 stars.

I have zero background in Arabic and I find the multiple methodologies for beginners (write letters, listen&select letter sound, repeat) to be exactly what I’m looking for. I’m still getting through the letters, and like this the most out of other free apps I’ve downloaded. UPDATE: Joode is ONLY for letters, which I don’t realize. Still very good. What would make it excellent would be a quiz at the end on all letters, sound, writing, etc.

App is really good and easy designed. However , I cant pass second step of letters and its always giving me an error "There is no connection with internet"

I was able to learn the first 14 alphabets within an hour by constant practicing, Joode helps you significantly and it repeats till you get it before moving on. You can also go back and re learn as many times

Great way to learn with repetition!

I have always had immense difficulty learning new languages but Joode is speeding me along. I recommend it to beginners like me who have no background in Arabic.

Beautiful, worked perfectly and is easy to use

While most Arabic lesson programs assume you already know the alphabet, Joode does a great job of teaching you the alphabet to start. It practices speaking the letters and drawing them, and then interspersed are ayat you can listen to. Wonderful app and I recommend it as a first lesson to everyone trying to learn to read Arabic words as a start.
