The worst app ever. There is literally not one good thing about it. So frustrating-I can't believe the makers of Florida511FDOTTraffic seriously like and use it. Delete.

Georgia’s App is superior, Florida is difficult to navigate and won’t let you look at specific highways unless you enter route information...

Another app to download and find out it is totally useless. It doesn't even show properly the Florida counties by region. Delete.

511 used to be a hands free option for use in the car. When called, 511 tells you to download app or go to website. This is NOT a useful app for anyone driving! This needs correction to a voice responsive service. Also, Florida511FDOTTraffic is not user friendly. Old way was to ask for a roadway. Now? Get a list of all issues in a radius. I don’t need help going north, south, or east if I’m headed west!

I had high hopes since I’ve used the website but Florida511FDOTTraffic doesn’t work well. I have tried to save routes but it won’t work. Why doesn’t it use the routes you already saved on the main website? This IS the same organization after all! Someone needs to scrap this and start over completely. Seriously bad stuff.

Simply put they don’t work! Every time I click on a camera it says “ no live feed at this time”! This appears to be a waist of time and effort. I’m not sure why they had to change this , I used to be able to view a short video live then it went to still shots , now nothing

I’ve tried Florida511FDOTTraffic a couple of time hoping for improvements to no avail.
Accidents, road blockages etc are not appearing in app at all.

Total waste of an App!
1) No dates or times on alerts!
2) Map/Driving directions refuse to load!
3) Was unable to find information on Sunshine Skyway open/close information anywhere???
Wouldn't recommend Florida511FDOTTraffic to Grandma or Grandpa!!!

Florida511FDOTTraffic is not useful at all. It cannot be safely used while driving. Bring back the Florida 511 telephone voice system.

I called 511 from my phone and there’s just a message stating fl511 app is now active. Then message recycles. Fl511 app has no information. Takes much longer with Florida511FDOTTraffic .

Slow Updates, still frames on traffic cams, no live video

App looks and functions like it was written by a two year old. There’s 10 minutes of my life I’ll never get back! Deleted.

FL 511 uses still pics so info is not in real time and is a bit off. In Virginia, there 511 is a live feed so whatever is written could be a few minutes off. You need only to tap the live feed to verify which is sooo good as things can happen in seconds. This feature has saved me on so many occasions. So in Florida I can only rely on Waze. FL 511 is currently lagging and inferior without the live feed for sure. The info presented can be incorrect because it’s minutes behind what is actually happening.

Please add back the ability to toggle the cameras on the map. We need to be able to see cameras of all the roadways not just reported incidents.

Florida511FDOTTraffic is usually pretty good but the last update removed all of the traffic camera icons and access to them. Please add the camera access back.

The application works very well and has a multitude of features. Florida511FDOTTraffic is great to check on any congestion and/or accidents before traveling.
My only complaint is their address system. For whatever reason, the majority of the places I visit are considered to have an “invalid address” this is solved by putting a more general address, but is still an inconvenience.
