Jack Reports – truckers app Reviews

First, for some reason when you update JackReports it doesn’t do it instantaneously it’s to slow sometimes!!!!
To make JackReports the ultimate app , I think getting cameras and discreetly hiding them in front of the open close sign on the waystation and publicizing it on JackReports would be the ultimate, I would even pay five dollars a month for that.
I have a game cameras that will instantly send me pictures as soon as it is triggered, on that same camera you can set it up on field scan and it will kick on every so often however you set it up and send a picture to you from the cell service ,that would be great I’m sure there’s better stuff out there you could get, do this all over the country.

I’m getting really tired of paying for JackReports. It used to work great. Now i keep getting maintenance breaks. I understand you have to do maintenance on apps every once in a while. But all week? And during the day when most drivers are driving? How much sense does that make? You charge 3 dollars a month for an app that doesn’t work when I need it. Start conducting maintenance late at night when there are only a few drivers on the road, not during the day when the majority of drivers drive. Common sense if you ask me.

I love JackReports it has so many features to help you search is all of the parking in the areas you’re in along with non-namebrand truckstops also gives your detail reports when someone leaves them and shows every scale and tries to accurately predict whether it is open or close and does a pretty good job

Jacks is more then just an informational tool for me .. It brings a piece of mind and makes driving easier for me .. I don't know where every fuel stop, rest area or what mm their at and I do my best to add to it at every chance. Hats off to all the contributors that makes Jacks Report work .. I amm a 2 gen driver if my Dad would have lived to be able to use JackReports while he was working! I’m going to say that every driver in the eastern U.S. would have been using it by now! Nothing like word of mouth advertising

JackReports has been the most accurate I have found so far

Overall I liked JackReports . I noticed that some prices were outdated. This weekend I had to drive the 60 miles to my rv so I went by a few Pilot stations showing outdated prices. I submitted updated prices, and 3 days later JackReports is still showing old price. With current pricing trends, I don’t want to make a decision on outdated data.

There’s no way the D.O.T. is Going to let “anyone” set up cameras near the scale houses!

Use the Cat scale and make sure your equipment is good working order, and you will eliminate more than 90% of pull around’s.
It’s called being a professional!
It’s guy’s like this that got me to quit having a CB in my truck years ago.

I love JackReports, I think it could be a bit more active just because I don’t get info on all the scales houses, but it is a helpful tool when it does come threw.

All good but needs to have the ability to swipe left or right to view previous or next page.

Needs to be more accurate with exact knowledgement of every location of every scale or weigh station if possible please. Thank you.

I like the notifications always alert me

Have had JackReports for some time now (about a year) & have gotten some use from it. Now I’m getting nag screens telling me my trial is up. Either it has a hell of a long trial period, or this is a new development. At 2.99 a month I think I’ll stick to Trucker Path (free) & it has way more functionality.

If you’re a trucker, know that JackReports is unreliable. It may go down for a day or more and the “app support” doesn’t work and the contact link is a dead end. So when you really need to
Find the nearest truck stop you may find it doesn’t work and you have no recourse but to unsubscribe as I did.

I’m wondering if we have to pay to leave them feedback for JackReports as well. They charge for everything little thing JackReports supposedly does, and they still don’t listen to drivers. Don’t waste your time and money on JackReports.

Good competition for Truckers Path. However, needs som improvements like being able to zoom without losing the auto center feature and a night mode.

The best app for big trucker to be ready for any surprise on the road. Thanks Jack for keeping update on the messages broad!

It works great. The only time it was wrong was VA scale in I 77 were opening and closing. The rest of the time it work perfect.
