I liked it at first, but then there was a bug that ruined everything. So, what it does is on the list option, the text would get enormous and would show 3 or 4 words making it hard to use. Also, I noticed more problems. It’s not fun to make long lists because you can’t arrange them making it easier to count. All I want is some useful tools. And 2 more things: first, the text edits itself, (not auto correct), and the dice you can use is just a d6.

RandomNumberGeneratorRNG was awesome. I used it all the time for writing and character design. However, I just opened it again—after just having used it a few hours ago, mind you—and every single one of my lists that I’d made over the past almost six months had suddenly been deleted. There were almost forty of them and all of them were gone. That was the only place I had written down some certain character names, as well as planet names and alien species, and they were all completely gone. Great app concept, but please fix whatever bug or glitch caused that so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Most ESP training apps are a minimum of 24 trials, so a history that only stores 20 items is not sufficient. Also, there is no way to tell if the same item is returned in the results if you use “shake” to randomize since there is no animation or numbering of the result set. You have to check the history, which again is not numbered and only holds 20 items. Three stars, but could be five if there were a way to set the total number of draws for a given set and if the history were to hold more items. Also it might be helpful if the first draw in the history of a current set were somehow denoted through color, bolding, asterisk, or a number.

I mostly like the recent update, but it makes you tap out of the number entry windows to click Randomize, which is really annoying. I should be able to select Randomize even with the keyboard/number board open.

Also, would be nice if the most recent number was more clearly defined, vs having it look the same as the rest and needing to remember it’s the top left number in the history of numbers generated.

I enjoy and use this random number generator every day, but I’ve noticed that, in a certain field of numbers, the generator tends to favor certain numbers over others.

For instance, I have been generating a random number between one and seven daily for the last several months, so, approximately, 100 times overall. Averaged out over 100 attempts, each number between one and seven should come out roughly 14% of the time, though, of course, nothing is certain.

The number 1 has come up approximately about 25% of the time; the number 5 only twice in 100 attempts (2%). That is statistically improbable.

I downloaded for the Custom feature to do random rewards for certain actions.(using Lists feature) Well!!! First of all I do appreciate the wonderful thought and idea of RandomNumberGeneratorRNG - it’s so unique and great! However!!! It’s a slow work in progress because sometimes I had to re create the list (over 5 times now because when I went back to my List it was .... empty !!) I can’t even describe how frustrating it is to put hours of work into your list and then discover that it’s not there anymore!!! I have decided to download another random app that only features custom choices — with nothing being one choice - unfortunately RandomNumberGeneratorRNG is not perfect just yet... developers, PLEASE put a Lock feature on your lists because I am not spending an hour on writing a list just to watch it disappear!!!! Thank you for creating RandomNumberGeneratorRNG. It’s the best app I can find in the internet!! I used it to train my reaction on discretionary command target which consists of a combination of number, color and shape. The feature I hope you can implement in future version is a delay between pressing the ‘randomized button and the result generated. It’s sort of a “ready…. Go”.
Another feature I would like to have is the ability to pick one item from each custom list. For examples, I have a number list consist if 1, 2, 3 and a color list consists of red, yellow and blue. If I pick to generate 2 items, Current randomization could generate 1,3 or blue , yellow. I’d like to have the option to pick one item from each list so the result would be always a number and a color. Again, great app and thank you for your hard work. I would not hesitate to buy the pro version if these features can be implemented in the future.

I use RandomNumberGeneratorRNG to test betting strategies on roulette to determine odds of winning. It works better than downloading an actual roulette app where you play with digital chips and a wheel. Those games are not random but are designed to make you lose so that you use real money to purchase more play chips. With this randomizer there is no incentive for the maker to cheat.

RandomNumberGeneratorRNG is very good, but there is one fatal flaw that I've come across quite recently.

Whenever I edit a list and back out to use the new edited list, RandomNumberGeneratorRNG freezes and becomes unusable. I have to reinstall the whole freaking thing and input the list afresh to be able to randomize it. Please fix this!

Other than that, a solid app.

I really like RandomNumberGeneratorRNG, it helps me when I can’t decide things haha.

The only real issue I can find here is the “without repeating feature” on the list function. It can generate 12 items and then when I try to make another RandomNumberGeneratorRNG freezes and you can’t do anything with it anymore. I tried deleting as much save data as I could but it still didn’t work.

This has become my favorite app. Imagination is the limit when it comes to how to use it. Can’t decide which beer to pull out of the fridge? Random Number! Need to shake up the presentation order in a business meeting? Random Number! Not sure where to start on your to-do list? Random Number! You get the idea 😉. App operation is flawless. The ad load is light, but I still subscribed to support the developers. Thank you!

I use RandomNumberGeneratorRNG for all sorts of things. The custom list feature is especially the most useful. It is often hard for me to make decisions, or sometimes I always choose the same thing and get stuck in a rut. RandomNumberGeneratorRNG helps to select an option for me when I’m overthinking or can’t settle on something. I highly recommend!

My list is not generating please fix this when I touch something it won’t work please fix this and while I was there I reset all my apps and I go to again it won’t work please fix this terrible so The numbers will work please like do an update or something I am begging you please thank you for your support! Love the Random number generator to help me develop a healthy brain. Pick a number from 1 to 365.... Say 233 was generated, 233 day of the year is August 21.... This is achieved by memorizing the the last day number of each month.... divide 233 by 7 ..... the remainder is 2.... (if January 1st was a Monday) the 6th day of the week is Tuesday ....... August 21 would be a Tuesday of that year. Do this daily without a pen and paper develops your brain... THE BRAIN CAN REGENERATE. 👍😊👍 Enjoy

I bought this for permanent use. Now, every time I open it, it acts like it is the free version and will run ads unless I “restore” my purchase. Every. Single. Time. Super frustrating. I wonder if this is just a way to harass people into paying for it to be ad-free twice.

Thank you for responding the last time, but this time the update that came with sorting out custom made list (which I actually think is a pretty good update) made all of my list go to ABC order which was weird. Other than that, keep doing a good job.

This is a great randomizer app, the best one I’ve ever used. The only thing that I’d request to be improved is if, in the history, you can show the entire name. If it’s too long, it cuts off the beginning and end and it would be great if it showed the entire name.

I absolutely LOVE RandomNumberGeneratorRNG. I am very hard at making decisions, I even had trouble finding which random generator today😂 but I do have only one problem... the premium. It’s always asking and popping up and you aren’t even allowed to have any other color of the theme except for blue which is my LEAST favorite color!!! So please fix this, some of us don’t want to pay to get a color we want. But other than that RandomNumberGeneratorRNG is great. I would totally recommend it if you are willing to put up with this or will pay for the premium.

I decided to start using a planner this year. I wanted to plan meals each week but I wanted something to randomly choose them. RandomNumberGeneratorRNG is perfect for that! I created not only a food/meal list, I created one for cleaning and workouts as well. At the beginning of the month I plan out each week by using RandomNumberGeneratorRNG . The only request I would have is to create a setting to sync to iCloud. (It may exist and I haven’t found it yet). But I highly recommend this! It’s simple, straightforward and easy to use!

Hello I really enjoy RandomNumberGeneratorRNG I use it for inspiration for creative work, out of curiosity is there a way you could set the timer on the home screen widget for the transitions between random items? For instance I would like one of my lists to update every minute, with a new Random item, that would be awesome for me, thank you for your consideration!
