I currently own a fashion design business and DressMeasurement almost came in handy except that it crashes every two minutes. It’s exceptionally frustrating when I’m trying to record a clients measurements and have to keep getting back into DressMeasurement .

Could be great but needs worksheets app crashed the same before and after the ios12 update.

As a home sewer this ap doesn’t really do more for me that what I can do with a notebook ap or excel sheet. What would make it valuable is it DressMeasurement could make a calculation based on measurement inputs and advise me what size patterns I should buy from given manufacturers for different ... Show more kinds of pieces. Or if it could suggest alterations to patterns to get a better fit. For instance: buy Vogue pattern XYZ to get best fit for dress bodice, adding 2 inches at waist to achieve better fit.

I use DressMeasurement once every few months and can never remember the name. “DM” isn’t the most intuitive when it comes to remembering the name of the body measurement app. I hope the dev will update what words will pull up DressMeasurement when searching. “Measurements” would be a good start.

Really helpful and convenient to have all the measurements for different people I sew for in one place. Love the automatic conversion between centimeters and inches.
It also makes it easier to shop for clothing for my kids as I can compare their measurements to the size charts for different br... Show more ands of clothes.
What would improve DressMeasurement:
—the ability to add measurements. The first thing I would add would be crotch depth—an essential measurement if you make your own leggings or pants.

You forgot high bust measurement maybe a note section per person to add additional type written words. Also, I would like to see young kid body types. Great start I like DressMeasurement .

I love DressMeasurement! So convenient and I’ve never seen anything else quite like it. However, I would give it 5 stars if it allowed you to input measurements not listed. For example, DressMeasurement includes the measurement for neck to bust, but I prefer to take a shoulder to bust measurement... Show more . Other than that I think it’s great!

The free version is good but is missing instructions on how to measure the different parts of the body. For example, when measuring around the neck, does one measure at the base of the neck, under the Adams apple, with the tape resting on the skin or one finger under? Information on how tailors mea... Great for measurements. I also wish there was a notes section - it would also be handy to have a 'sizes' section. I use this for theatre and having a dress, shirt, pant, and shoe size list on a page would be very beneficial to DressMeasurement. Still better than any other premade measurement sheet... I recently downloaded DressMeasurement again (free version), and still think it’s a great app for basic body measurements. However, it’s still missing several measurements needed for designing gowns, corsets etc. it would be easy to add these along with the others.
I was paying the $4.99/mont... Show more h previously, but I really didn’t see enough benefit for that price. I already have a folder in GoodNotes for all of my clients information, including photos and I simply add a screenshot of the measurement screens into their GoodNotes file and add any notes there. That system is paid for with a one time payment and I have a ton of options for my clients information.
There’s an open source pattern software that has measurement option, but many many more measurements, but the downfall is I cannot use it on my iPad which takes me back to DM
I simply cannot justify the very expensive $4.99/month for just the ability to take notes and photos. Exporting PDF isn’t that big of a deal as I take screenshots. It’s easier and faster anyway. There’s other programs that are much much more in depth that don’t charge this. Look at Procreate just as a software example, a one time super cheap purchase fee and they just did a major free update. There needs to be many more options to justify your charge. And if so, annual needs to be an option

Great start for a much needed tool in the fashion industry. Haberdashers, Tailors, Bespoke and Alteration shop will love this user friendly app.
Would love to see some customized measurements if possible.
Additional measurements for people in the clothing and tailoring industry should be in... Show more cluded.
Because nobody is always the same a left and a right side measurement for items such as sleeves lengths, wrist width because of clients with watches or fitness trackers

DressMeasurement is brilliantly made with a really good user interface. Just when you thought clothes measurements had to be done in person, this fantastic piece of tech innovation says otherwise. Well done!

Does what I need. Keeps my measurement right at hand. Can easily update measurements as needed. Has most needed measurements. Love DressMeasurement…would be even better if it automatically dated each measurement to the date when you entered it. I keep track of my growing kids’ measurements here. I never remember when the last time I measured them was.

I love using DressMeasurement. It’s easy to use and has a nice, simple design. I use DressMeasurement to track my body measurements like my waist and bust size to make online shopping easier. Highly recommend DressMeasurement if you want to save body measurements for future reference.

I have two small children and a Husband who is never around when I’m at the fabric store or looking at patterns. It’s so nice to be able to see what size my daughters are on a pattern without having to measure them every time. I’m also using it to keep track of my weight loss measurements. Also I h... As another user mentioned, there are additional measurements I would like to be able to include. As a costumer I would like a way to also store common sizes is: shoe, hat, standard shirt....maybe a notes section for really random items like finger dimensions, facial measurements.

For a next ... Show more evolution, I would pay extra for an upgraded app that allows to plan and track projects linked to each saved person...

Would love a “projects” page much like how you can add an additional male/female on the current home page, you would have a separate “project” home page where you could pull in your males and females onto each project and then manage a list of items on a subpage for that person..ie. shirt, pants, cape...yada yada, and track item completion status.

DressMeasurement is exactly what I needed! I'm sure you guys can think of ways to improve it even more, like being able to export more than one file at a time, and having the option to export text only. But I am very thankful for this, it really helps me a lot. Great job! Mahalo!

Unable to edit a clients name (or what you have titled a particular profile). You must build an entirely new profile if you want to change a name or title...if they get married, change their name or you have a misspelling etc. Also, no place to record weight.

DressMeasurement is super convenient. I can keep all my measurements in one place and it’s not going to get lost. The conversion between inches and camis amazing. I recommend all seamstresses use this.

This is a great app to keep measurements in order.
The only thing is the There are a few measurements that are listed.
But other then that it’s a great tool to have.
