So, on your “favorites” screen (which everyone uses for bookmarks) it’s nothing but a series of screencaps. No titles, no anything. If you have 100 eps in your list, good luck finding the one you want to watch. ANNOYING.

And there’s no way to remove this from the list after you’ve watched them - not from the list, at least. No, you have back out of the list, search the title again (and the search function is terrible) and then find its page. Because when you click a thumbnail from the favorites page you don’t get the info page first, it just starts the show. ANNOYING.

Oh, and if they post a link to something on their Instagram - good luck finding it using the AppleTV app! Seems like half the product doesn’t shoe up in there. See: “Manic Cop 2” as an arbitrary example. Search it on the website, there it is! Search it in NightFlightPlus , it’s gone! Guess some you just have to watch on your laptop? ANNOYING.

Great content, but such a pain in the a using it! GET IT TOGETHER, Night Flight!

Downloaded NightFlightPlus and signed up for the free trial after seeing multiple ads on social media about it. Was impressed with all the content that’s available, but NightFlightPlus is just too impractical. Even after talking to someone from the support team, I was unable to watch anything on NightFlightPlus and after giving it a few tries I decided the free trial was not worth it.

Signed up for a year subscription. Couldn’t get the AppleTV app to sign in or sync. Reached out to support and never received a response after several emails over the trial period of 7 days. In fact, they never responded to my question for assistance, only the email to cancel after the trial was over.
Great content, crappy support. Most of the Italian horror movies I was excited about are also found on free apps like Tubi anyway. Not worth the money.

After purchasing NightFlightPlus I was able to watch a few videos here and there for about three weeks. But all the problems started when I tried to link NightFlightPlus to Apple TV connected to my TV. Since then, well over a month ago, I have not been able to watch any videos on my phone or on the TV due to some sort of problem with the way I purchased the Night Flight app on my phone. After a few emails to NightFlightPlus support team with not much help, I’m still not able to watch any videos to this day.

I signed up, paid for a month. But when I try to link to my Roku I get an error message. Emailed customer service. Email returned as undeliverable. Tried to sign onto app. Says it is incorrect email. So I’m canceling after having had it for only ten minutes. I guess if you’re willing to settle for watching on a little phone screen you’ll be happy.

This service has some great stuff. Great docs, great retro stuff. But the Devs need to fix the bugs. It says it’s available on Apple TV. It’s not. It says it’s available for Chromecast. NightFlightPlus doesn’t recognize the Chromecast. It says it’s on Roku. It keeps freezing on Roku. They need to get NightFlightPlus on bigger platforms live Smart TV’s and Microsoft. So far the only place I’ve been able to watch this bug free is on a computer.

Five stars for the content. Have to deduct two for the UI. Especially when viewing in landscape mode on an iPad. When viewing full screen, the only way to back out is to force quit NightFlightPlus , or rotate the iPad to see the options…

I really have been enjoying the content it offers. However, NightFlightPlus crashes very often while I am browsing. If I am being charged a monthly fee to access this, the developers will have to step it up some and fix this issue.

i love your app so much.... the newest screen design, with larger images, looks nice, but i think it was more fun and easier to browse when the images were smaller, and more fit on the screen at once (i watch on AppleTV)- now only 4 film images at a time fit on the screen, previously it seemed like 8 or more could be seen at once...also sadly this update removed most of my saved favorites too..oh well it'll be fun to search through it all again....

I love the content, but I've had nothing but problems with NightFlightPlus and my account subscription. I was given an annual gift subscription in December 2023, and NightFlightPlus every once in a while is asking me to pay/renew again, so I have to go through a whole process to reestablish NightFlightPlus on my phone to watch the content under the gift subscription. It's real drag! If There's an easier way to manage the subscription, someone please let me know.

I attempted to remove my review below but could not so I will simply say that Night Flight was not getting my emails. They have since made everything right and I can enjoy my favorite giallos and grind house faves again!

PNP barely works, in fact, it crashes more than it works. Since most of these are documentaries, tried switching to audio only, and that crashed NightFlightPlus to. UI is clunky, not intuitive and leaves much desired. The documentaries have a lot of potential, but NightFlightPlus makes it difficult to enjoy.

This is MY kinda content. About one billion music documentaries and then all the action, sleaze, exploitation, and horror grime that a guy can handle! If you were raised in Tromaville or were a video store kid or stayed up too late watching your basic cable package it’s time to dive in to Night Flight!!!

I hadn’t heard of NightFlightPlus until a couple of days ago and can easily say I’m bound to be a longtime subscriber of this platform. It’s everything that I love all in one place; B Horror Films, 80s Music Videos and Nostalgia, I’m all for it.

The few little gripes that I personally I have are as follows:

I find NightFlightPlus ’s accessibility and user experience kinda finicky. Some parts like the opening screen are out of frame. Moreover, my biggest complaint is that Night Flight isn’t available as a Samsung TV app. I find that AirPlay on NightFlightPlus is very hit or miss.

Overall though, this is a sick streaming platform and think it can be even better if the nooks and crannies are accounted for.

This is got such amazing content and everything is exactly what I want except for an existing bug right now with the Apple TV. For some reason the back and menu buttons on the Apple remote don’t properly return me to the content selection. I have to let whatever is playing completely finish before it naturally dumps me back into NightFlightPlus .

I’m very happy with new Night Flight app. Not a fan of watching streaming services in a browser. So this means way more in travel Night Flight watch time as I tended to only access while at home. The UI is pretty identical is not overly fancy. Nice looking but not overdone. Did not experience much in the way of service interruptions outside of the usual that you may get. Streamed on both Wi-Fi and cell service. There are a few minor bugs or updates needed but nothing out of the ordinary of a new app and they are very receptive to feedback. Very well myself updating with fifth star in the near future

I can Chromecast from my computer

Hands down my favorite streaming app in terms of content. However, there are two main problems with app functionality. First is that there does not seem to be any syncing of your favorites between different devices. I watch it on my Roku, on my iPad, and on my iPhone, and each of the three apps have a different list of favorites and do not sync. The second issue is that it is really hard to scroll through the plethora of categories to find content that you want to watch. For example, simply trying to find the original Night Flight episodes on the Roku app is an endless scrolling exercise. It would be great if you could “favorite“ or “bookmark“ an entire section or TV show instead of just individual episodes so that you could quickly and easily get to the content you want to watch (like the Night Flight original episodes). I also just noticed that all of my favorites and all of my downloaded items on my iPhone and my iPad just got completely wiped clean with the latest update. That’s kind of a bummer but I can forgive it if the other items that I noted above get fixed!

I am excited to explore all the great looking content they have. And I have to say that I did have an issue with playback on one video I was trying to watch so I reported it to support and the Night Flight team fixed the issue and responded back to me next day. I’d call that great service. Happy to subscribe. A good value.

If cult movies and underground culture and music docs are your jam, the resurrection of Night Flight is a dream come true. I get more enjoyment out of my $4/month subscription than every other streaming service combined. NightFlightPlus is super basic and doesn’t do any of the things you expect from other experiences tho. It doesn’t save your place in movies, favorites disappear at random, no “keep watching,” limited controls, etc. It doesn’t really bug me because I grew up watching Night Flight on TV and I always felt blessed by the entertainment gods whenever I happened to catch it. So the janky app actually taps into my nostalgia. It’s sort of the cassette mixtape of streaming apps. I mostly watch the streams anyway which just go 24/7. It’s relaxing to not have to choose. Ah, simpler times.
