You can't do anything else once Alarmify is "activated"--you would think technology would allow for more than that?! I turned it on one night so I wouldn't forget to (because if I had waited I would have forgot), switched to a game app for awhile, put my phone down, and woke up late to a dead battery because for some reason Alarmify was draining it even though my phone was not being used. I know it was Alarmify because I checked what caused it in my battery health. What on earth?! So annoying.

I'm aware it says to plug in your phone once it is activated but I think that is annoying/unnecessary and I can find an app that doesn't require that. And also one I can activate and do other things. Very irritated. Again looking for something more advanced...you wouldn't think it would be this hard.

It works but is missing features like recurring alarms. You have to go manually turn it on every night before you fall asleep. It only has one alarm at a time too. The last feature that would make it a 5 star for me is playing the alarm over my Bose smart/Bluetooth speaker. Update: last night even though I set the alarm it failed to ring and wake me up it said it wasn’t open but it was and my battery life drain proves it. Serious problems with Alarmify. Hope they fix all this stuff in the promised update...

I did some experimenting and discovered that the music only plays when the push notification is up then when the drop notification goes into the Notification Center the music stops. This makes no sense, I should be able to be on a different screen and have Alarmify work, Alarmify costs money so the fact that it needs to be open is ridiculous. I’m sorry to say that I’ll be uninstalling and applying for a refund. Maybe if this setting changes in the future I’ll get it again but until then, Alarmify is useless to me.

I’m leaving a 3 star review because I just woke up at 2pm when I set the alarm for 8am. This alarm doesn’t wake you up unless you remember to set it EVERY SINGLE NIGHT before you go to sleep. And I mean you have to open Alarmify at night before you go to sleep for it to work, even if you decided to hit “start” earlier that day so you wouldn’t forget. That’s a major design flaw that every alarm I’ve encountered so far has accounted for. Now I feel like I can’t trust this alarm to wake me up even if I like waking up to music. Dev, please fix this. I’d love it if I could have the option of the alarm waking me up every day at the same time as long as I kept Alarmify open.

Would’ve been 5 stars but all of the sudden my alarms are just not going off in the morning anymore. I’ve checked and double checked that the alarms are actually set, even set an alarm a few minutes ahead and waited for it to go off to verify, which it did, alarm went off with no issues. But for some reason come morning I wake up an hour later than I should. Notification history shows the alarm never went off. Not sure what to do at this point other than ditch Alarmify .

I bought this before there was a subscription fee and it was great. Never had any problems, did exactly what it was supposed to do. I could even use the alarm in sleep mode.

But now it won’t even go off no matter what I do. I’ll see a notification that it started playing but I’ll never hear it. I’ve overslept a couple of days because it wouldn’t work. I really want to keep using Alarmify but if I can’t trust it to do its job, then I’ll have to go back to regular alarms.

I really like Alarmify and I've been using it for almost 2 years now but it's way too sensitive. Anything that disrupts your phone in the night (I.e you check the time or unlock it) and Alarmify totally stops working. The only way I've gotten around this is re-setting Alarmify (turning the alarm off and on again). But this is a hassle. And sometimes it doesn't go off just because. It's gotten to the point where I have to have a second Apple alarm back-up so I don't run late for work in any given day. Please, if there's any way around this fix it asap

Love the idea behind Alarmify. Only things I have to say are I wish you could schedule multiple alarms/multiple days in advance, and I wish the premium upgrade was a one-time purchase instead of a subscription. I definitely would purchase premium if it wasn't a subscription.

Alarmify is the only one I know like it, which makes it great! The problem is that it doesn’t have some of the basic features alarm apps normally have. As far as I can tell, you can’t set multiple alarms. Additionally, it seems you have to select “go to sleep” when you are ready to sleep for the alarm to set. This is inconvenient and not so reliable for an every day alarm. I’m so glad this alarm exists, because it’s so easy to connect to music that makes waking up more bearable, and I hope you will look into these updates soon :)

Love Alarmify, have really been searching for this product. I have found one bug that I would loveee to be fixed. When I try to select my own playlist as a sleep aid, Alarmify freezes and nothing plays although the timer starts running. I can’t slide to stop at that point and I have to close app and reopen to regain any functionality. The pre-loaded/suggested sleep aids function fine… would love to be able to set my own sleep aid playlist though!

this app is a simple app that works exactly as described. Just pay attention to the directions when you first open it. Super easy. Maybe a little too simple for $4.99. It would be nice if it would run even if closed, if you could set different alarms for different days of the week, and if you didn’t only have the option of setting it right before bed. I’d sure like to see some updates on Alarmify ’s capabilities because it’s an awesome concept!

What’s the point of an alarm app that only works 50% of the time.

this app is everything I’ve been needing but it has caused problems in my life. Sometimes... it just doesn’t turn on. These is completely unacceptable in an alarm.

Devs... main priority. If you want to ever go anywhere... which you can... you gotta make this reliable. Do you guys care about money??? Because you could be sitting in a cold mine but hey! That’s all you.

I didn’t read reviews and just bought Alarmify . It works as advertised, but the two biggest drawbacks are the default volume setting and the lack of ability to create multiple/recurring alarms. It’s very minimalist, but looking at other reviews after the fact, that’s the intended purpose of Alarmify . I haven’t had any problems using it, and for what it is supposed to be it works great.

I literally never write reviews for anything but I used Alarmify yesterday and played my favorite song that always makes me feel happy for my alarm clock, and I woke up in the best mood and stayed in a good mood all day long. I 100% recommend Alarmify to help people like me who suffer from not being to get out of bed in the morning.

For a while, Alarmify had to be open and running on your phone in order to work. Like, you couldn’t fall asleep after using any app but this. Like 90% of people, I usually use my phone before I go to bed. Previously, if I had fallen asleep with a different app open, or just on my homescreen it wouldn’t go off in the morning. Now you are able to just set the alarm and leave Alarmify in the background to do its thing. It doesn’t have to be open and actively running, but you can’t close Alarmify which is understandable.

Alarmify is what I wanted for sooooo long. Really glad that it’s in a good working spot now.

I’m the opposite of a morning person and I needed something like this. Well $5 may seem a lot it’s saving you from a $10 Apple Music subscription. Only thing to change is set alarms. I also like how it gradually brings you in by starting volume low then raising. Overall great app, just once you can schedule the alarms it will be a better app.

I think Alarmify is awesome and I’m enjoying it. The gradual music is a much more pleasant way of waking up compared to a regular alarm. The only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to turn your phones vibration off in phone settings for the alarm to work properly. If you don’t the first thing you hear is a vibration on your nightstand versus the gradual music.

I have been looking for a app like this forever, a few days ago I found Alarmify and now I wake up with all of my favorite songs, I love Alarmify now. I just love how you can put songs, playlists, albums and artists. The only thing I would improve is that the volume keeps going up, It’s not a problem for me because I wake up easy but I can see it can be a problem for some people, but other than that, I LOVE Alarmify❤️❤️

After reading some of the reviews I was hesitant to buy Alarmify especially when sorting by most recent reviews. However Alarmify makers in many of the responses said they fixed bugs. Maybe Alarmify was buggy or maybe many of you are idiots or maybe you are just snow flakes who complain about everything.

In any event Alarmify is a joke it is so easy to use. I put the time I wanted to wake up and I picked the playlist. It woke me up at the correct time and I let it run 5 songs.

Alarmify is great and functions just as I would expect it to. I don’t use Alarmify with the exact intended purpose, I use it to play very loud and fast music in order to wake myself up because I was beginning to get used to my old alarm. Some features I think would be a good idea to add would be making it so you can set multiple alarms; be able to schedule your alarms instead of having to set them the night before; and make it so you can can optionally make it so you have to listen to an entire song before you can shut the alarm off.

I would do anything for Alarmify to work. It’s a great idea. I put it on when I go to sleep. You have to leave it open in order for it to work. So I do, I leave it open and lock the phone. In the morning, if you have gotten a text, phone call, or any other notification, it says “niino niino, it appears Alarmify is closed!” What????? I actually need this to go off so I don’t miss work. It’s completely unreliable. I don’t check the notifications because I’m asleep, but just because I have gotten them, the alarm no longer goes off.

Alarmify is the only one I know of that can do this, so right off the bat that makes it good. It works flawlessly and is really easy to use. A few features I want added are the ability to set multiple alarms and the ability to set a repeating alarm. Overall Alarmify is worth the 5 dollars.

I loved Alarmify so much! It’s so nice waking up to my favorite music,however, when I open Alarmify it’s just a black screen and it exits me out. I don’t know if it’s my or the apps problem, but it’s disappointing. Now I have to go back to the boring alarm noises that don’t motivate me as well to get up. Alarmify was a complete game changer, but now, I can’t even use it.

I was looking for the option to wake up to either my favorite song or my playlists. This does both and more. It also has a fall asleep timer which was a very pleasant surprise that I’ve used almost nightly. Since it turns itself off, I don’t have to stress over falling asleep. Love Alarmify , great job!
