I never thought I would praise other parking apps. I used to have innumerable problems with parking rivals such as Park Mobile. However, years later Park Mobile has everything down to a science. So, when I saw this app had replaced Park Mobile, I thought they must be spectacular in the parking game.

Unfortunately, I tried to work with ElParking for several minutes before giving up. First of all, ElParking is not geo-location sound. There is not a part of ElParking that pinpoints this app lots. I immediately knew this was going to be a problem. Since ElParking also does not recognize its own lot and forces the customer to type in the exact address, I was disappointed that completing this process did not help either. Additionally, ElParking was asking for way too much car information. No company needs to know my vehicle registration information! What if I am in a rental car. How would I find that?

ElParking in summary needs work. There was way to many negatives. ElParking seems designed to force the customer to use the box. I have no choice but to give ElParking a chance but I would hope some improvements are made.

At some point it accepted foreign credit cards. Thanks to the genius developers now it only tops up with Spanish credit cards because as we all know Spain has no tourists who rent cars! Brilliant design!

The map is not oriented with north up which makes finding the space you’re in difficult to locate.

Once you are parked in a numbered space, you should be able to enter that space number instead of having to find it on the misoriented map.

ElParking works but the screens are clouded and over-complicated with other service offerings and offers.

Also, why must I prepay by putting funds on the account if ElParking is registering (and saving) my credit card details??? Not cool!
