I’ve been playing this for a while but today they updated it snd ruined the game. I can. It see my entire islands because it’s too zoomed in and it doesn’t give me the option to view my entire islands anymore by zooming less. The hams as it is takes forever to progress in and now what was fun is ruined. Doesn’t make me feel like playing anymore when I can’t see the islands. Aren’t the updates suppose to improve instead of ruin things? Then, I got a developer response saying it was fixed, so I go check, and IT IS NOT FIXED. So, I give up. Stop lying to people.

I could not place roads on the sand but I can put a house on the sand this game is good though like cars can give you a star so you are closer to next level and once a car gave me money but not real because this is just a game I gave this game two stars because it is a good game as well but it is bad as well I would say you should not play this game it’s only a little bit good because I can’t place roads on sand I am never playing this game again I think this is a stupid,dumb,and terrible game.

For example, on the snowy island when you check your status it says something like “people unhappy build a bank”, but you cannot place a bank on snow!!! Another says “need more jobs, build a hair salon”, same problem. Other things are offered on other islands that cannot be built on sand, or grass, and yet they’re recommended! Another thing, there will be a sign “for sale” on land or water, but when you buy it, you only get a little piece, and the remaining is divided up into more pieces to purchase, yet you think you’re getting all that is offered! Also, one item to earn another island is $51,000,000 to buy!!! I’ll never get that much and I’m not spending $99 REAL dollars to do it!!! That’s ridiculous, so I quit the game! It doesn’t even make sense like a real SIM game!!! It needs lots of work!!!

I love the game, I’ve been playing for over a week now. However, I noticed that once you place a building a couple times it changes from game coins to game gold. Game gold costs real money. As your level increases the cost of surrounding property increases exponentially. Expansion property prices increased from 100,000 coins to 3,400,000 coins and I don’t even have half the island populated. I’ve run out of buildings to buy for coins, which is what you earn from your commercial buildings.

I completely understand the need of the developers to earn real money, but this game forces you into it very, very fast. And there doesn’t seem to be any other way to advance in the game. It’s very discouraging, frustrating, and on it’s way to becoming too prohibitive to bother playing any games from this developer. Bummer, the game quality is excellent.

I really like the game, but there should be more ways for the developers to get real money than from random pop-up ads that give nothing in game play back. I understand needing to make a profit from the game, but don’t aggravate the players. Give them in game gifts for watching videos. I would have given this game 5 stars if not for that.

I enjoy trying to keep a balance between available jobs & residents. It can get a little repetitive, but I do like this game.

Update: beware of the gold rewards. Despite earning multiple gold, it only gives me about 1/2 of what I’m earning. No clue how many I missed out on until recently, but it’s cheated me out of 20-30 over the last couple of weeks. Very annoying as most of my buildings now cost gold rather than dollars (which is another irritating aspect f this game). Paradise City, you seriously need to fix this issue with giving the appropriate amount of earned gold rewards, plus make those buildings available in dollars.

I like that it’s not the bright cartoon style, it has the potential to be a fun game. I was looking forward to trying the different islands. Its nice that it doesn’t force you into events like other games.
It’s frustrating moving things, it doesn’t always work and takes too many clicks. You can’t buy more than one thing without having to go back through the menu, rather than the store. You can’t sell buildings or put things in storage, that I can tell.
Probably won’t continue to play until they make updates, and I hope they do.

I do enjoy this game because it is fun and relaxing after working all day. I do agree that some of the land is very expensive and you don’t seem to get as much free gold as you do in other city building games that I have played. I do wish that when purchasing houses, commercial buildings, or community items that they would require money as payment and not gold...at least until you have purchased a certain amount of a particular item.

I gave this game 3 stars because the music in all of your games are loud and annoying. I cannot listen to my podcast because there is not an option to silence the music. I’m debating on deleting all of the games because of that one issue. Please fix that issue.

I like the game and enjoy playing. However, the game is glitchy and has been for several weeks, at least. I play on my iPad so I don’t know how to restore my settings like some people have suggested in the forum. It worked before so I’m not sure why the developers have not corrected the issues yet.

Playing for the first time it’s great you fill up one island thinking you move onto the next island not necessarily. You must pay to open another island it’s not free. The game is cute but it needs work in my opinion. You fill up one island and you think you can unlock the other island no you must pay.

I love this game BUT I wish there were ways to get gold rather than checking in daily or the golf you find lying around here and there.. maybe an option to exchange x amount of cash for x amount of gold.. just a thought!

Nice graphics.
The game doesn't rush you.
You get a fair amount of gold and cash with real currency purchases.

MY CONS:

The amount of game money you have to come up with to expand your city is ridiculous.

You pay $1,000 for a decoration and decide you don't want it... you don't get the $1,000 back if you get rid of it. ADD PALM TREES TO THE DECORATIONS!!!!

The game requires the player to collect the money from each business instead of doing it automatically.

If you can't come back to the game for a while, the game doesn't keep accumulating your earnings it just holds the single amount of earnings the business has generated. So you are losing earnings if you have to work.

Good game overall.

Ok overall I love this game. I really love that on some of the buildings it lets you fast forward in time. The only problem is that most of the islands are VERY hard or expensive to unlock. Also some of the buildings take days to give you money. Could you please change these problems. Thanks 😊

I enjoy a game that stirs my creative skills. No two islands will be the same as you continually have more islands available and real estate to work with. I enjoy trying to make each environment as realistic as possible with the resources given.

This probably the best game to me and it’s actually realistic because you can only put stuff on different islands.

I LOVE this game and I’ve played it for a long time now, but I recently got a new phone and there was no way I could transfer my game progress to my new phone. Is there a way I can do this and access my old gameplay?

I have enjoyed all of the city games I have played. They are all addictive and very enjoyable. I don’t have any complaints and to be honest, I will play for a little while, design my city or island and then decide not to play anymore, then, a few months later re-download and start over.

I have been playing for about 10 days and have not any problems or issues. Leveling up has been easy so far. Some of the expansion prices may be high, some upgrades take a long time without paying to rush them, but that can be said concerning a lot of games. I like playing the game and will continue to do so.

Nice to have something different to play that keeps your mind sharp. Paying attention to details and looking for better ways to increase activity and productivity is the best way to achieve the best outcome. Love it
