The live tracking was not reliable at the start of the race until we received the first official update at the 10k mark. We were very nervous that our daughter who had trained well and was her 4th marathon was injured because she was pacing 2 minutes slower than her actual pace.
Having said that.... it was a great app for the updates and for being ready to cheer her on near the finish line!
I would definitely recommend GrandmasMarathon , just know initial live tracking may not be reliable.

Very disappointing - it’s not working on iPhone or iPad, and the race is only two days away.

we were trying to find our friends and family who were running but it only allowed us to find 2 of them and we used multiple apps and still could only find the 2. So either our friends didn't check in or one of the biggest marathons in the country couldn't get it together

Unable to find runner either by typing in name or bib number in tracking search function. Therefore a worthless app. Very disappointed.

Be glad GrandmasMarathon is free because you can't track anything. Leaderboard works but nothing else. So much for live tracking.
