It’s sucking the fun out of the game big time. I constantly get “ads aren’t available” messages constantly. For a game that requires ad watching in order to make any significant progress, this is killing the game. I’ve been playing this and other Kongregate games for years now and it is getting unbearable. Please either fix the problem or patch the game so that you automatically get the reward if you click the button and the game says ads aren’t available. It’s just bad form to punish us for your mistakes.

I’m going to take a break from your games until I read patch notes saying the ad problems have been fixed. Please don’t just put a generic statement like “bug fix” in your patch notes or I won’t know that the ads were fixed and won’t start replaying. Meanwhile I’m going to try out some other developers games to see if maybe their ad system doesn’t punish my gameplay like yours does. I hope you guys can resolve this. If I haven’t really connected with another game already, I’d love to come back. It been fun (except the past few months) and I hope the best for the developers to turn things around.

Game doesn’t pay the gold when watching ads and if you complain they give you the runaround and THEN reset your whole acct! Don’t put too much effort in to this game, because one day after putting in a lot of work on an event you will find that they have restarted you back to the very beginning losing all of your progress! I have NEVER been so disappointed in a game as I am this one! Don’t waste your time.

I DID contact support. I know I am owed at LEAST 1000 gold for missing ads and all I have gotten is the run around. Even after I send screenshots. It got to a point where they told me to sent all of my history for 1 ONE report for ONE missing gold request. No support, nothing. And now if you are an IOS user you can’t even use the extra gold ads anymore. The support you all give is as if y’all are kicked back with your feet on a desk trying to see how many email exchanges can go back and forth before the user just gives up- and then you are laughing about it while eating a bag of chips prolly passing around a homemade cigarette! You guys are ridiculous!

Decent game, idle fun and all that. I would give it more stars if there weren’t IAP buttons on the screen where you tap. This is a very obvious way of making people accidentally click something that brings you to an IAP screen every time, and it’s placed in such a way that you need to be careful or you’ll tap it while simply playing the game. Keep the purchases in the dedicated store screens or far off the main game screen, if someone wants to buy something they will make a conscious decision to do so. Don’t try to potentially trick people into IAP’s, you’d think Kongregate would be above that kind of thing at this point. (Update:) seriously? The addition of two more menu buttons on the screen you’re supposed to tap makes it virtually unplayable, want people to be more interested in downloading (and potentially pay for) your apps? Stop intentionally trying to interfere with gameplay and listen to your fans for once.

This used to be a decent game for killing time. Takes strategy to maximize opportunities, isn’t inundated with ads, the ads that are there are completely avoidable by opting to not engage in any of the multipliers/free gold ads, and there used to be weekly events to change things up and earn more perks. Well, those events have disappeared and support will not directly address the issue. They refuse to share any advertiser contact information and it seems that there’s only one person acting as “player support.”

It’s really sad that they still want you to spend money on gold bars to buy perks, yet they won’t even keep their app running as described.

First and foremost, this game will absolutely make your phone crazy hot to the point it’ll worry you. The game itself is fine, but it doesn’t do anything new. You’ve probably seen it done better elsewhere. Another big issue is the fact the “free gold” tasks you have to do in other apps DO NOT pay out like they’re supposed to. It wouldn’t be so bad if the higher paying tasks weren’t very, VERY time consuming. I’ve done three separate tasks that should have paid out over 4,000+ gold. I got nothing for my efforts. Zilch. And I’m incredibly annoyed.

This isn’t a bad idle game if you don’t mind the political jokes and such.

My two big issues though are the amount of space it requires and battery usage. Currently it’s taking almost 2 gigs of space just for an idle game and that’s a bit ridiculous. No other idle games I have require NEARLY that much space. Also, this game loves sucking up battery.

If you guys can find a way to reduce space required and battery usage, I’d most likely rate this 4 or 5 stars, but until then, it’s staying a 3. It’s fun but only if you have the space and power to play it.

I’ve been playing this game for about 2 days and it is the first tap game that I’ve played that has given me an ad multiplier and once I’ve watched the ad it didn’t give me the multiplier. It has the typical offers for the gold currency that you can do but never work. It would also be better if it were
Not a clear copy of PocketPolitics Office Space. It has the exact same mechanics just different look to it, most of the coding was probably copy pasted, because you have become lazy. It is a fairly good game but that can’t make up for the lies and how much of a sellout you are being.

Every time there’s an event, an update follows a day or so later. And at least on Apple devices, it’s never available in PocketPolitics Store until a day and a half or two days after that. By that time, the event is mostly over, and in this game the event rewards are the only way to make real progress in the main game. I had this game before and deleted it for the same reason. This is either extremely poor logistics on Kongregate’s part, or a scam to force you to buy “gold” to play catch-up. Either way, it’s garbage. I’d complain about this in the “contact” section of the game itself, but that won’t be available to me until maybe sometime this weekend.

I have played this game on and off for several years. Sadly it’s still has the same defect as when I uninstalled three years ago. The office title does not change when I get elected. I have to close the game and re-open it. This isn’t a huge deal but it’s very annoying. Especially since I submitted several tickets with developers who insisted at the time that it was my device. Well three different devices and two carriers later we still have the same issue.

This game doesn’t take up 2 gigs its only 238.6 megabytes and also it doesn’t reset your progress either and it don’t have advert problems and it didn’t overheat and it didn’t drain my battery or any of the other things that people said about the game I give this game 5 ⭐️ because it is a great game and I hope that the game developers keep up the good work

I’ve never been hooked on a clicker so much, because there’s never been one this good. It has much more depth to it than at first glance, so instead of just having piles of money that you don’t know what to do with there’s an actual end-game, and even better, the end-game is never ending. This is an un-beatable game because of its infinite endgame, but it never gets old. This game was made with passion, and I commend the developers.

The concept is great, what with making fun of all politicians, not just the ones you don’t like. Also a good idle/tapping game. After a while it gets old, especially after you become president. Like most apps and games nowadays, the only real way to get ahead is to spend money. And as much as I appreciate the business side of it, I just don’t feel like shelling out several dollars just to play my game.

After the “Day Off” event ended yesterday it said this event is now over, next event will start Wednesday 1pm PST. Mine still says that the “Day Off” event ended and the event will start Wednesday at 1PM however, it’s Wednesday and 10:48pm and it still won’t let me start the event. I already deleted the game and re-dowloaded it but still nothing. How do I fix this?! Other than that this game is awesome and I love all of the events !

Good game. I’m currently ranked #700ish in the main game. Please for the love of God, fix the “Swipe Tabs” checkbox that’s currently broken. I can’t stand not scrolling 100% perpendicularly and going to another tab. It was fixed a while ago, but is now broken. I uncheck the box, go to a different screen, go back, and the checkbox is back, and the scrolling/swiping problem is still there.

I love playing this game, it’s my favorite clicking game, and there’s not to many adds. You pick a candidate and if you tap them you will get money. There’s so much to do on this game, it’s one of my favorite games on my iPad. Although it’s addicting, but it’s still very fun. If you get 50 followers, you can retire, but you have to make a lot of money.

So, got PocketPolitics from an add on another app. Started doing the free coin options but wasn’t receiving the coins, so I messages maker about that and that when I play their game my phone gets stove top hot and only their game.
Day later, in a five day event two days had passed already all my progress was lost ironically. Mind you in every event I earn the 25 elections be 500 all lobbies.
Turn around, another day later, ALL MY PROGRESS IS LOST! All saved information, as if I’m starting from brand new download.

It’s a decent game to have when your bored and or trying to look busy on your phone but every time I play it for a little while my phone gets really hot like I grabbed a pan sitting on a stove but when I quit it cools down hopefully it gets fixed if it’s a app problem I have a iPhone 6s btw Incase you read this and was wondering what device I am using that gets hot

This game still has the same issues it had when I uninstalled it a couple of months ago. Every time there’s an event it takes to long to download content and I’m on an 18/1 connection and it takes 2 days to download this content. That’s 2 days the event can’t be done because while it’s downloading you can’t even play the game. This time I’m uninstalling it I won’t be redownloading it. The developers of this game are killing the game with this issue but they don’t seem to care.

Very seldom do I write reviews.. this game is an exception. I absolutely LOVE it! I play it everyday, and I've never felt the need to make a single in-app purchase. No annoying pop-up ads either—ads only show when you're watching them in order to get a bonus of some sort. It's funny, strategic, and very relaxed. Right up my alley :)

I really like this game. The newest update, however, does not allow me to turn off the swipe tabs. This is rather annoying since the screen slides over and I accidentally buy things. I’ve also done the free offers for gold and never received anything (it’s been almost a week and they have been verified as if they were awarded to me). I would have been awarded 610 gold bars. My suggestion is to not bother doing the free rewards because you will not be awarded for them.
