I've used robyte for years on my amazon Fire tablet. Recently I got a new WiFi router for that broadband and added a 2nd broadband service with its own WiFi router.. Now robyte doesn't work. It says "unable to connect to your roku" no matter which broadband I try to connect to. Why doesn't RoByte work now?

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent RoByte app issues:

Force Stop the RoByte App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click RoByte app. » click "Force Stop".

Update RoByte to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear RoByte App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "RoByte app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch RoByte.

Fix RoByte unable to contact server/ RoByte internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click RoByte » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got RoByte » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
