i FlashDevice HD Reviews

When I got the “device” it didn’t really seem to fit into to phone. It looks just like the tab on the power cord from all angles. Power cord fits snugly into the phone with a palpable click. The device, no click - in fact, it mmost of the time. I thought maybe I could get some answers after downloading iFlashDeviceHD . I tried to be optimistic. Waste of time. App would my be visible for less than five seconds, then disappear. Should have taken that “Evelyn Woods” speed reading class years ago, because I just couldn’t glean a thing in those 5 seconds.
So it’s now a few months later and I’m u, “Maybe they fixed iFlashDeviceHD , give it another try!” And fix it they did. And that’s where I read that it my iPhone 7+ is not compatible - it only goes up to 6! I checked before ordering for compatibility issues and found no exclusions. And because it’s sent from China, with a return address in Chinese only, my local post office couldn’t take it (a company from a country that utilises a non-latin/roman alphabet probably has a good return policy if it has the address in the languages of both countries involved - the post office may require it.
Needless to say, I’m more than a little peeved about this little adventure, and out somewheres in the neighbourhood of $40.
So, I-FlashDeviceHD developers, I’m open to apologies, refunds and replacements!

It crashes when I click the “Album” button for photos. Other options appear to work...

Go figure... The device I have says “i-FlashDeviceHD”. There are multiple apps from manufacturer in AppStore...one says “...HD” and the other doesn’t. So one would figure that is the correct app but it’s not. Load it and it won’t see device, but access photos fine. So load the “I-FlashDecive” app (no ‘HD’) and it sees the device but crashes accessing photo albums...

It worked once and saved a few pics from my phone. Went to transfer to my laptop and it wouldn’t appear. Then I tried to update it and got a black screen. Also doesn’t appear to have a way to connect to the internet but will tell you it is offline.

The item I bought that uses iFlashDeviceHD worked for a little while, it eventually stopped working one day and I bought a new product for years of the same type of unit with the same app. I thought the product I have was the issue, but both of them don’t work. I’m thinking it may be just iFlashDeviceHD that is not seeing the Card readers

I bought this to put all my pics on it from my iPhone, it worked fine the first time and hasn’t worked since! Soon as I start to do the one click backup it’ll just close iFlashDeviceHD . I tried to open the files on my laptop and nothing showed up! Lots of pics just gone! Waste of money and time!

Why buy a device to store your iPhone pictures? Simple answer AND should be a simple task:
1). Open your phone and iFlashDeviceHD ;
2). Select the photos to copy;
3). Create/Name of the folder(s) where the photos are saved; then
4). Transfer them.

iFlashDeviceHD does not do this AND what instruction there are A) are for a different device, and B) don’t even have the correct menu options, so you cannot follow them if you wanted to.

I sure the developers did not intend to make software which did not work. But the higher-ups in the company are failing to oversee their produce. And in the long run the company will fail. . . . Merely look at their comment ratings.

You have hot to be kidding. The most user unfriendly app I have ever used. The drive came with German user manual. This is the USA. If you can get it up transfer a photo after a trial and error procedure, it changes it to a .heic format. What the heck is that? No windows program will open it. This is a real piece of you know what. Don’t waste your time with this.

Same issue as many others are reporting. I just got a PHOM card reader this past week, all worked fine the first couple of times. All worked fine, then iFlashDeviceHD told me that there was an update available so I did the update — then it stopped seeing my device! My device flashes when I click iFlashDeviceHD icon to access it, but continually shows “offline”. Hope the developer fixes this bug fast ... app is of no use now and neither is my card reader without iFlashDeviceHD !!!

The hardware device works for USB transfer to my laptop. But using iFlashDeviceHD to read a MicroSD card seems to scramble the File Allocation Table on the disk. I had to use a recovery utility on my PC to recover the files. My suspicion is that it chokes due to insufficient memory on large files and just corrupts the disk as a result. So the main thing I got this for, moving pictures from the card to the iPad, is a complete fail. I’ll still use the hardware to move files to USB ports on computers.

I have purchased two different hardware devices for iFlashDeviceHD and used both the HD and non-HD versions of iFlashDeviceHD . No combination worked to backup photos. 2 of the 15,608 photos and 0 of the 760 videos in my photos album show up. I want to back them all up, not 2.

Great concept. Very bad and disappointing execution. Clunky, non-intuitive interface. Worthless as it is. I hope with a future release I’ll be stunned by a useful app where there was nothing but a waste of time and money before.

It’s a disk utility, supposedly, but the first thing it wants is access to: Microphone(why?), camera(to peep on you), all photos, all files and I forget them all being in shock. You deny them all and iFlashDeviceHD does nothing. Won’t check a drive, internal or external, to calculate space, cleanup or format. I just wanted an app to format a thumb drive, which it says it does. The only thing iFlashDeviceHD does it sell your nudies to some site across the ocean, why does a file program need access to microphone and camera? Duh! Just avoid like the plague unless you want to visit Europe sometime and find out your famous!

I bought two of these. When the first was plugged in to my iphone, I tried transferring my library of pictures and videos to the drive. It looked like it was working for a few minutes, then froze during a video transfer. I eventually gave up, as nothing happened for a half hour and had to pull out the flash drive. Now when I plug it back in, nothing happens and when I first open iFlashDeviceHD and plug it in, it always shows the device is offline.

It still recognizes the second flash drive when I plug it in, but I am afraid to try to transfer anything until the issue with the first flash drive is resolved.

I will update my rating if I can get a positive response from the developer that explains how to fix this.

I have iPhone 7 + 256 gb and i-FlashDevice not working on my iPhone 7+ 256gb why? I using a 16gb memory card and don’t work on my phone but it works on my iPad mini 4 that is 16gb in sane 16gb memory card. Why it don’t work on my iPhone???????? Please fix this. Then I’ll give you 5 stars

It would be nice if we can get the option to share videos and images directly from the drive to other media. A download media to image feature would also be great.

So, I got iFlashDeviceHD and the flash drive, and like everyone said, it stopped working after a week. The flash drive’s contents disappeared. HOWEVER, I found out how to get them back. So for all of you that say “it stopped working” there’s an easy fix. Your files will disappear after a little bit but all you have to do is plug the flash drive into a computer or laptop. Weird right? Plug it in, you will find everything you saved on the computer. Then take the flash drive and plug it into your phone again. All the files will reappear. It’s inconvenient but that is the only complain I have about this thing. Everything else works perfectly well. You can save all of your things accordingly. Just plug the thing into a laptop when things disappear after a few days and everything will come back. Until the company solves this problem, I’m giving it 4 stars. This weird glitch has caused a lot of people to think there stuff is gone and throw the flash drive away or return it. Hope this helps and that the company fixes the minor disappearances.

When I got the device I didn’t have to pay for anything nor did any of my files go missing. I’m really happy and Impressed with both the device and app.

I like this product easy to install and use I moved it from iphone to hard drive and it worked as expected

I plug the drive in and it continually says “device off line.” Nothing happens and nothing is downloading. Feel like it’s a scam I lost money on.

I’m not sure why there are so many low scores for iFlashDeviceHD because it works great for me. It does everything that they claim and it does it fast. This is a great way to transfer data across various platforms and it does it discretely. If you don’t want to share your personal data with the world via cloud storage, this may be a good option for you. I’m very pleased with the device and app❗️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is the perfect thing I’ve needed. I’ve been on vacation and ran out of space on my phone but now I can put all my pics on this instead and never run out of space! Love it!
