I read the reviews but thought I’d try it anyway.....
PROS:
1. It’s free as far as I could tell.
2. There are ads but they are very small line items, after a few minutes of using PhotosPhoneCleaner I barely noticed them.
3. There was no pressure to upgrade to a paid version. I’m not certain there is one as there was never an ad or other indication one was available.
4. It’s easy to use once you get the hang of it. I didn’t see a tutorial but as I said it’s simple.
CONS:
1. I believe it somehow picks up and shows shows photos I thought I’d already deleted such as pre-edit copies.
2. I selected several hundred photos to delete and when I pressed the remove button it turned red as another reviewer said, with the same results: nothing happens.
3. When photos remained on the page I went to my photo albums and looked for the photos I’d marked for deletion, they were all still there.
If there were instructions as to how to use PhotosPhoneCleaner maybe they would tell you how to delete photos but as it is I’ll just go to my photo albums and delete them there, it’s pretty much the same process.
I like that PhotosPhoneCleaner is free. It did show me my duplicate photos and allow me to mark the ones I was to remove. If I have a few selected photos, then the “delete selected” button will remove the photos. But, I found that if I select more than 15 photos to delete, the “delete selected” button doesn’t work. The screen will just flash and stay on the same “remove photos” screen. This is a nuisance. It would take a long time to clean up my photos by removing a few photos at a time.
I appreciated being able to compare each photo it selected as a duplicate. My only difficulty is it seemed to include all the individual frames of a gif. It seems like deleting any of them would make the gif not run or not run smoothly, so I ended up hiding all those that I thought were from gifs — and yet I didn't see a way to tell for sure from within PhotosPhoneCleaner .
Makes it easy to scroll through your photo deck and illuminate unwanted photos
Deleted 20 of the largest photos and videos easy. For comparison the only possible problem is that if I have more than one of a photo I’ll want to keep the one most in focus and I haven’t yet found a way.
Man it's easy to use it loads up quick you even get to see all pick the duplicates before you delete them all
Photos similar are grouped so that you can select your favorites and delete the other.
Had deleted in the past, and tried it now a year later or so, it is awesome!

So far I am really pleased. I haven’t experienced any issues at all with PhotosPhoneCleaner. It does what it says and did I mention, it’s free?
Fast and they don’t try to force you into a subscription. Who needs duplicates removed every week o even a month ?
For some reason I have so duplicate pictures and PhotosPhoneCleaner really helps clean that up.

It’s extremely helpful to delete everything so you don’t have to scroll through everything in your camera roll. 10/10would recommend
PhotosPhoneCleaner quickly finds photos that look almost identical and you just select the ones you want to delete and voila! So easy.. and free!

App does beg for reviews after each removal of duplicates. Fewer files found that were considered duplicates. Takes a long no time to identify duplicates. Not that impressed

I like that this is free. It does its job. Also, it reminded me to check my recently deleted folder, which I liked a lot. Over all a good app.
perfect way to clear up space in your phone without the hassle of going through everything manually. there are ads but they’re small and don’t get in the way at all. definitely give it a try!
It helped remove videos and pictures I didn’t know I had. It helped free up space in my IPad.
