I bought this a few years ago in a lump sum to be able to use ConstructionCalculator for life. It got an update 2 days ago. When i opened ConstructionCalculator today, it asked me to pay to get rid of the advertisement windows at the bottom of the screen. Really?

ConstructionCalculator was great, but some recent update has removed the apps ability to show fractions in your calculated answers. Adding two fractional measurements now shows the result in decimals… literally the whole reason I was using ConstructionCalculator is now gone. Developers should bring that back to keep this useable, otherwise it’s pretty worthless.

I'm calling out this developer, xNeat, for his shady shenanigans! First and largest of these is the ratings he's gotten not only for this "construction calculator," but pretty much all of his "calculators."
Out of the 58 written reviews, (All of which is mostly 5 star with only 6 4 star,) 29 of those were written on Apr. 9th, 18 on the 10th, and 10 on the 11. So all his fatastic reviews happen in a 3 day timespan? Shenanigans! It's not only ConstructionCalculator either.
Otherwise, it's just a simple everyday calculator that you can get in black or white. Unless you want to pay $15 for the privelege of getting fractions and a rafter calc. No thank you. You decide if this developer is on the up and up.

I used to use this and like it.

But they’ve recently changed ConstructionCalculator so that results are ONLY shown in decimal format unless you pay $5/month or $40/year. That’s an insanely high price for a fraction calculator. They’re insane. There are other, better options. I could buy a standalone calculator fr CI for a one-time payment of less than $40. Annual? Nuts.

So while I used to use this, I’m now deleting it as I’m not paying $40/year for a calculator, and it’s utterly useless otherwise.

I have used this for many years and LOVED it but what in the world is this awful convoluted updated? And you changed to a subscription model? If yall had left it alone I would have considered paying a small subscription but not now!!!! This is an unusable mess!

There are some things you will need to get used to in terms of keystrokes when inputting fractions and then inches, feet, etc, but once you get used to that, it is excellent. It is a lot easier to pickup then a traditional construction calculator.

I’m happy with the calculator but the recent IOS update gas caused a problem. The solve button is stuck up in the top right corner under the battery and signal icons and when you try to push it all you get is battery life pop up. Please fix this ASAP

This is a great calculator as Spring and construction projects start. You can add everything in imperial units. The format is intuitive if you have used another calculator by this developer, but it can be a bit difficult for the first few time.

I use to type in everything in Google for answers and it would get complicated and not go exactly to inches, now, it is more easier!

I've had the standard version of ConstructionCalculator for years and it's handled everything I've thrown at it. Excited to test out the measurement features!

Use ConstructionCalculator everyday. Once you figure out how to properly enter equations the calculator does all the thinking. Simple can’t live without ConstructionCalculator

I have always used and heavily recommended their calculator+ program. But as an appraiser this one looks to be even more handy when calculating rise and run as well as other functions. Nice job!

It definitely makes doing math with feet, inches, fractions and/or decimals so much easier. Which helps me to conserve much needed brain power which is already at a minimum lol. I highly recommend!

I like ConstructionCalculator a lot. In fact it replaced all my other calculators on my phone, not just for construction but for everything else. Except for advanced math of course.

I’ve use ConstructionCalculator to build many projects around the house. It’s made my building process so much easier to calculate the materials I need when preparing a cut list. Well worth it.

Could I do the math in my head? Sure. But ConstructionCalculator lets me worry about cutting, measuring, and installing, rather than remembering and hoping I got the measurement right. I’ve had no issues with it, works just like I want it to, including entering measurements in decimal, which is helpful when putting in 1/4” measurements.

I have had this calculator app for approximately 5 years. ConstructionCalculator continues to get better with each update. A Persi can customize the colors to your eye preference. Calculator + has additional added a scientific calculator to assist scientific calculations. The latest upgrade is a construction calculator to assist with those total square inches, feet, yards, and linear feet. I simply will not use any other calculator.

I am a architecture student but have been in the construction industry for twenty+ years. I have always used the construction master brand. Since being in school I have downloaded the scientific calculator and simply loved it, now with this new calculator it is the same UI for entering key commands and the look is the same as what your used to. I will definitely recommend this to all my construction friends and my fellow students!

Love this little guy, one of my most useful and convenient tools that I have in my tool bag. Makes a huge difference in my work day when I have to multiply or divide multiple measurements at once when I can just reach in my pocket and open ConstructionCalculator up and punch in the numbers. Is quick and efficient, not to mention it's nice not having to double check my math, search for a pen/marker or something to write everything out on, or spend the extra time doing it all over if something has to be moved or changed (which is quite often in the construction business).

This is a handy app to have especially when remodeling my house. Quick and easy to use! This is a must have for any professional or DIY individual...............................
