Honestly, this is probably the worst game of this kind that ive ever played. Not cause of the graphics or the concept of the game, but because how obvious pay to win this game is. So, here’s my issue. The boathouse gets filled up very quickly and you need a few things to upgrade it, including a part called Pulley. Its nearly impossible to get one. I need 2 to upgrade but i can never get a second one and when someone tries to sell me one the item gets sold before i can even see it, i mean, not even half a second and it sold. The developers need to figure out a way to where friends in a team can sell items within each other instead of putting everything global. Whats even worse that that its when your Silo is also full. Now you have to upgrade both the boathouse and Silo and the parts you need are impossible to find. The only way to get it is by luck (after weeks of trying) or by paying real money. I absolutely despise being forced to pay money to move on in a game. The only thing to do in this game is selling your goods and that’s pretty much it. I have so much money and coins but can’t do nothing with it because i can produce anything cause i dont have room anymore. Also, clearing land in this game makes no sense and its also impossible to do. Everything about this game is a cash grab for developers and i feel bad for the people falling for it. Thankfully, they did a better job with Farmville 3. But this one its outrageously unfair and boring.

Not again Zynga. Worst experience ever. Loved this game and was so excited for the bongos and the new island and the new decos but when I tried to play it kept resetting to 0 after I would fill a ton of feed orders so I went to check the blog. Imagine my surprise that others were only asked to make 40 or some feeds but they gave me 2 days to make 76 then even asked for more. I told the “helpers” and the company response was to present a cerberus that needed 66 feeds. Sorry I invested any time in the new feature and every member of my group says they just ignore most of the “new” or “extra” stuff. Well it is nothing but demotions and a complete exercise in frustration mostly but I am such an optimist that I just wish they would even try to play the game themselves so they can see why the players are so unhappy with the gameplay because this stuff is fixable but they are unresponsive to players concerns or just downright mean spirited. Not much a player can do but give up on the futility of enjoying the drudge aspect of all stick and no carrot. Tired of feeding the komodo dragon and thought it was about escaping to tropical fun and games. Perhaps they will let even the graphics people advise them here so I will check back to give the game another chance but lately not enjoying it any more. There is a novel new event but already feel like it is more demanding and unnecessarily frustrating than enjoyable. Maybe the magic will work Merlin. Think it over.

Been playing this game for over a year or so now. No matter what level you reach, or how much money you spend to try and win rounds or the tournament, you never get any good boosts as a reward. I just won first place in the tournament and only got a few common experience point boosts but not one timer. I’ve complained to Zynga many times about how unfair it is that our club wins the cruise contest and how I would place first in the tournament and yet I get absolutely no good timer boosts. It’s been a month or so now and I think I’ve gotten a handful of common boosts that don’t give any points hardly because they’re like the palm tree or the mango tree or the chicken. The game has become very frustrating because no matter how well you do, you get no rewards. Also I want is for you to spend money to buy diamonds to try and win and then when you do you still don’t get nothing. So if you haven’t gotten started in the game, don’t bother getting invested in it because it’s only gonna cost you money and you’re not gaining anything. Zinger doesn’t even respond to my emails anymore or change anything. I would think a first place winner should get the best boosts they have not the same common ones over and over that I have to keep selling them because I have so many of them.

I have played this game for years off and on but am becoming completely disappointed. An item taking over an hour to complete is ridiculous. The payoff for your constant playing is way low, do we not mean anything to you? It took 3 hours for 6 items to make, sent it off, got 5 feed for mystical animal, really??? I was able to get to within 3 food points on one of the animals only to have it leave my island, really? You can’t offer to keep it around for 10 gems? What’s with the 59 total points when the most I can make on an order is 5?? You offer to keep the animals around with the tagging of the dolphins, of course the spend gems option didn’t work so lost that animal as well. Very Disappointed with the current events. Another thing, coops that are no longer active are never removed. When I first joined I didn’t know anything about coops. Discovered after a year that I was in a coop with 28 members of which 3 of us were actually playing. Wasted a lot of time there, finally started my own. We are very small but determined so it’s really obvious when the house is stacked against us. Programmers need to rework time frames and prizes.

Tired of watching same ads over and over when spinning for extra prizes...plus been playing now for over five years between this game and FarmVille 2 and have never hit jackpot..lots of other players have told me same thing of never hitting jackpot...getting tired of always coming up short of main ingredient needing to fulfill items (mostly vanilla) and not even on spinning wheel for chance to win some...I am off and on all day being retired and see same players globally offering same items up for sale and seeing them sold out before being posted..just don’t understand then why are they being posted...think it is past time for this company to look harder at this game and revise some of their software...also when they do update sometimes it takes me two to 19 days to get back on...plus why can’t club member offer items for club members only...have that in FarmVille 2 but not here ..also think they should allow that for shovels and sand dollars as well as diamonds inside each of the clubs...I am on SSI so purchasing blue diamonds just not in my budget but if club members willing share how can they.....

I enjoy playing the game, it’s a great way to kill time while I’m waiting or bored. However, there are glitches. Like when I want to buy items from my club/friends. It doesn’t reload for hours sometimes. Also, when you do an update, the game ‘forces’ you to do it, but there is no update to push. Something about pushing some buttons 10 times? That is a joke. You should be able to push the update button like any other app. I have had to uninstall it, and reinstall it twice now, because it doesn’t allow me to play without the update. If I could update without issues, and the ability to purchase items off of my friends would be available. Another thing I want to address, is you can help your buddies/club with helicopter orders only. Why not with items like the mermaid? Why can’t we share items, or purchase items among each other to have the advantage to assist. More than just helicopter orders? I would give this game 5 stars, but still too many big glitches to earn a 5. I realize I’m only one person, but I want to say it’s not all glitter and roses! Fun to play, be prepared to be frustrated.

I have been having problems with the cruise ship for over 2 months. I cannot access visitors. When it does allowed me to do so and it’s once if that, rarely twice during the time the ship is in port I cannot access them again. I have tried different things from uninstalling FarmVille2 and doing everything they have suggested and still cannot get it to work. I have been contacting ZYNGA for the past weeks and I get the same message “our team is a aware of this issue and we are now working on a fix” How long does it take? I cannot help my club members, there’s no enjoyment in taking part of that event. Why put something out that it’s not completely functional or still have some kinks in it. If there is no fixing, can’t figure it out whatever the reason is then take it OUT! There’s others things that they could change. Somethings take to long to make, the skycliff takes Way too long so does the Merchants ship as well as other things. This is why for now I cannot give them a higher rating and I was generous by giving them a 3 star.

I really enjoyed the game. Spent a lot of time playing. Then you notice things. The gem wheel doesn’t always work and I’ve only gotten one jackpot with all the spins. If you keep so many constant sub games going i.e., the cruise ship, helicopter, races, and other things, you can’t play decently. Since you added the ether thing, which I don’t like because it eliminates the reef, I don’t play as much. Combining the helicopter orders and ether is horrible. I don’t do either now. Also! The game takes away things you produce and need for the spa and cave. I can have them all ready the night before and the next morning they are gone. Why are you stealing things? Reaching each expansion area requirements is really sad. It takes forever to get everything you need. The same with the expansion of the silo and boathouse. All about buying those gems. I will not recommend this game because of the gem pushing. People don’t have the money. The huge numbers you need to level up is not conducive to enjoyment either. Better explanations are needed when you introduce something new. It takes awhile to figure it out and the sub game is half over AND you don’t get the materials you need in a timely fashion to do anything. Especially when you steal things produced that you need.

I love this game, but things need to change.... like they use the same events, make something new, and when you do use the same events make the prizes different, and add the prize from before! Same with cruises, and with each cruise you should have decorations for your island to win, just like with an event. And you should definitely add a kiwi plant 😜 and add more places like hot springs and the cave, and what is moko the monkey and when is it coming out? I want some change! Bring back the sea turtle event!!! And add more decor that you can buy with gems when events come! And with some events, don’t just give an animal that gives an hour of sunshine add to that, and let us keep the animal! You could also give everyone another island that is the same as the one we already have but you can put decor, stores, plants, and animals on it! Bring back events that happened in the beginning of the game so new people can play them! Like monkey business, or the Valentine’s Day one! And have an event for every holiday, and for other time!!!! Give new cruise themes! Get rid of stage, it is stupid and a waste of time.

I like this game, but it can be frustrating. It is taking longer to make items. I cannot earn gems for watching ads anymore. I hate getting non-event items from event sites. I like the basic game, but the whole picture selling for putting treats in several spots is really lame. It requires too many treats and slow responses. I find it a way to charge players for treats. Stop giving us the long wait times for quests and items. It bogs down the game. If I leave, that will be the reason. Now, things are sparked by boosts, but they require similar times of play. Ours is multi-national, a real bonus...except for using boosts efficiently. I cannot tell which is extra XP, or 3 minute growing time. Sigh...like chat, but limited size, means we do not connect with club. I saw one at 2:30 am my time. Yeah, not guaranteed to connect. Zynga games are good, but always the frustrations. FarmVille got so many farms per farmer that I quit it. Do not ruin this one by over complicated design, please? Thank you.

Awesome game that is addicting, fun, and I spend wayyy too much time on-lol! I have never paid real money on/in ANY game and NEVER will because I’d rather eat than pay you. NEVER have I used a hack or cheat because that’s just NOT right nor fair to others and I don’t want it done to me!.. irritants.
#1- youre wayyyy too stingy with your grey sand dollars-FOR REAL!! I have over 200 gold and red sand dollars but they’re TOTALLY useless because I only have 8 of the grey ones. DEFINITELY a great attempt by you to get our real money.

IE-Let’s us turn in 20 red dollars for 5 grey

I’ve been playing mostly happily since 2016. Rarely ever did I spend real money on games. Last year this game ramped up my interest in actually spending money on it. Every month, more $$. And I was happy. Until I wasn’t happy.

At some point during the year I hit a (programming?) wall. As a Beach Club Leader I had always been able to remove club members who were no longer playing. Suddenly, that’s no longer an option for me. “An unexpected error has occurred” appears on screen for every attempt.
Then, I was also unable to accept invited players. “An unexpected error has occurred”

Lots of messages have gone back and forth with game support for literally MONTHS, with NO resolution. And still I spent real money each month.

Now I’m seeing a bunch of other beach clubs with “members” who haven’t been seen in months, a year, a long while. Perhaps a half dozen actual ACTIVE members in a club with 19-20 “members” in their roster.

I’ll probably use up my remaining gems (because I paid actual money for them) and then ditch the game.

While I’m looking for a new game opportunity, this developer will not get my attention, business or my money in the future. Not happening for ANY versions of FarmVille.

And what’s the point of the “bugs and game play issues” page if nothing is being fixed? It lists an additional half dozen bugs/issues that are not resolved.

I have played the game since the start! It has become so glitchy it takes the fun out of it sometimes. I am a mother of a special needs child and suffer from chronic pain myself, therefore I love the game to just zone out and getaway!
There are boosts that started several months ago. Suppose to be able to do 5 at a time to boost your points during the weekly tournament but our club has only had 3 for 6 weeks or more creating a strong disadvantage. Speaking of boosts......highly unfair allocation of points vs. timers which leaves the club very frustrated. Even more frustrating is when you use your hard earned money, to treat yourself and your club, and you get the majority of boosts as xp (experience) which does nothing except punish those at high levels in the game!
The creators need to take a hard look at customer service after 50+ emails, with screenshots, they still haven’t fixed our glitches! They tell us they are working on it and to be patient. When I asked for our club to be given gems or boosts packages they said no! It costs them nothing for this!
IF I COULD GIVE A RATING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE IT WOULD BE -1! The only reason I give a 2 is because of the friendships I have made from wonderful people from all over the world!! This game is so fun and addicting when it works!! Zynga, get it together already!!!

Update: I literally love this game! I am probably addicted. I am now at level 45 and will continue to play. There have been glitches recently with the last update, but nothing too terrible. Since my last review, the game does give out a lot more gems.

It took me a little bit to get into the game. Initially, it was my six year old that downloaded it and I played Paradise Bay. I started "helping" him with "his" game and slowly started really enjoying it. As I leveled up, I really started liking it. There's been glitches here and there, but their tech support has always helped me. Paradise Bay does give more free gems, but this game does make it possible have to level up without gems. They have good deals to purchase them, too. I typically spend $2.99-$9.99 every couple weeks on the game depending and I enjoy some of the perks you can buy with them. The mermaid that searches for things you need is amazing.

If it's slow, give it a chance- I promise you will like it.. 😬

*Update: ANOTHER month has gone by and the issue with cruise visitors not loading has still not been corrected... I have provided plenty of explanation of the problem, even photos to better explain and no response and no fix.

*Update: I seem to have spoken too soon, less than a couple hours after my review I started having issues again. Very unfortunate, I do enjoy this game, but it has been almost a month of the same problem(cruise ship visitors will not load which affects myself and my whole beach club as I can not contribute) and the Zynga support just seems to have stopped responding to emails.

I have been playing this game for years and still love it, recently I have been having lots of issues with certain things loading and progress being saved. I have been in contact with support, but had not been able to resolve the issues I was experiencing. I once again uninstalled FarmVille2 and reinstalled and tried one more time, just to see because, again, I really do enjoy this game. I must say, I am VERY glad I did!! The newest update seems to have corrected the issues I was having with cruises and such. Also, game play seems so much faster and smoother, very very happy with the update! Thank you for resolving the issues!

I’ve been a loyal player of this game for at least a year now, on more than one device. It has become VERY apparent that if you get close to getting Zemi’s ultimate gift & even pay special attention to staying on track to get to the ultimate “gift” at the end of 20 days...they glitch the game to put you back by days OR you get the check mark for the day you are on & then an hour later, the check mark is gone from that day and you are moved back. I NEVER get the ultimate gift due to this cheating from Zynga! They also rig the jackpot on the spinner wheel. If my spinner seems about to land on “jackpot”...it moves at the last minute & I get a fish or something lame. Totally rigged & UNFAIR! Makes the whole game frustrating & not as fun. Only keep playing because I like graphics & “feel” of the game as an innocent beach escape for a few minutes each day. I agree with other posters though...GET IT TOGETHER Zynga!!!!!!!!!! 2 Stars only because of graphics & music! If game glitches got actually fixed...would definitely rate much higher.

Love the game, very therapeutic to play I enjoy it very much. I feel so silly for spending the time to complain about a game, however, I seem to have found myself with plenty of time on my hands for the first time in a long time. Seeing as I do play this game as a way to relieve stress and to unwind from my hectic day. I was upset to find out that I can only use 20 “activation boosts” per day? I agree this a high number and obviously I’ve never ran into this problem before, but I find it silly to put a limit on my activation boosts when at this particular time of the game I am being persuaded to use said boosts for island points or whatever they’re called that go towards the monkey wearing the headphones. On top of that, there is a cruise ship and using boosts pops up every 15 minutes as one of my options of pirate people to sell too. Moral of the story is I love this game and I will continue to play Because I’m sure The chances of this situation happening again are highly unlikely, I was just putting in my two cents 🧐🤪 Thank you for taking the time to read my review, if you did. I’m posting this here because I have nowhere else to go! My blue gems are disappearing constantly. I earn them and then they disappear. The game has taken roughly 50 gems from me. It’s aggravating that there is nowhere to report technical issues. A few years ago, I was on level 85. Then I was kicked out of my game and sent back to level one. I searched everywhere for answers and couldn’t even report the problem, so I stopped playing for about 2 years. Of course, I got the constant emails about them “missing” me. 🤦🏼‍♀️ It was too aggravating to start over. I just started playing again and now I’m having this problem. The company needs to offer actual tech support if they want to keep players. I’m about to throw in the towel again. The most frustrating thing is the disappearing gems; however, many other things keep disappearing from my game. If the game offered actual support, I would rate it higher. But I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who wants to have cumulative success (who wants to keep the things they earn).

This game is so much fun and on top of game play you meet new people. Being able to work with others thru the beach clubs is awesome. It’s even better when the group you’re in is full of positive gamers. Great job developers. Only concern I have is the game glitches at times and I wish the items didn’t cost so much. So that’s the only reasons I gave 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️otherwise it would be a definite 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 😀😀

I will have to decrease my star rating to a 2-3. With the new cruise changes, it’s almost impossible to play the cruise. I can’t understand why you would make such a change a this point. It’s seriously hard to get the items required to craft with. Then you only have a certain amount of time with each cruise round. I really do love playing this game. I have even made good friends thru the game but the recent changes is making me rethink the time I put into playing. I really hope that Zynga listens to the players and changes this new cruise aspect or make it easier to get the items! I mean, it was already difficult getting people to participate as it was, but now it’s worse! Please Zynga change things back. It would make game play so much easier and fun! Thank you 😊

If there’s a game online, I have probably played it. FarmVille 2: Tropic Escape is, hands down, my fave game of all time. The graphics are amazing and there is always a challenge going on somewhere on the island. I have met people from all over the world playing this game and made some great friends. As with any game, there are some glitches. And nothing that a quick reload doesn’t fix most of the time. If I had one suggestion it would be to be able to rotate our island items so we could be more creative in giving it real-life dimension. If you haven’t tried playing this game, now with some time on your hands, settle in and sail away to feel the wind in your hair and hear the sound of the peaceful breeze blowing by. It’s relaxing and calming. It’s my “Me” time and I look forward to playing everyday. Thanks, Zynga, for providing hours and hours of fun, good conversation and some relaxation time for me.
