Flexiroam X eSIM & Data Plans Reviews

I am a frequent traveler usually in a new country each month. I used to have a huge number of physical local SIMs as local data was more economical than my provider roaming data. I discovered FlexiroamX at Sao Paolo Airport about 2 years ago with the SIM and it has changed my life for data roaming. However the eSIM has been a game changer, and allows me to keep my local number for phone calls and use FlexiroamX for data. I highly recommend it, and would only say, add some more local providers in some countries (like Brasil where there is only 1). The customer support too (thank you Carlos!) is also very good. Just one note though, FlexiroamXeSIMDataPlans notifications on the iPhone have been inconsistent in the last few updates, and disappear if I don’t open the banner immediately, maybe worth a look? Bottom line, it works brilliant.

I have used flexiroam for several years now- first with the microchip and now with eSIM. I love the sharing option because I can handle buying data for trips and share it with my companions, instead of each of us having to figure out data plans.
Anytime I’ve had an issue with eSIM activation the support email has been very responsive and helpful.
They often run promos so even though some of their data packages seem expensive you can often find deals if you check FlexiroamXeSIMDataPlans periodically.

This has been a huge discovery for me in how I travel with my phone. All the convenience of having your home number (receive/make calls, texts etc) while having none of the data costs of roaming using your home number. I buy my data ahead of time and as soon as I land or cross the border I am up and running on my FlexiroamX eSIM. Data speeds are fast, roaming costs are low and best of all no running around looking for a SIM card etc. Simply brilliant.

We live on a sailboat so having one provider that we can seamlessly use in most of the world is very important. There were a few hiccups in getting the eSIM installed originally and also after losing a phone to the ocean and having to move the eSIM to the replacement phone, but their customer service is very quick and efficient at getting users up and running.

I have been using flexiroam for several years now . What is amazing about them is their support , they really fast in replying and solving issues . Amazing bundles and its works perfectly where-ever i travel . Just install the esim . Activate and you are good to go immediately. All the problems that i faced were my mistakes and they helped me almost instantly . Great company great support team , they definitely deserve 5 stars

I never had experience with Esim but FlexiRoam made it very easy for me. Just recieved email and there you go. Followed the instructions and all set. Now I don’t have to worry about Data abroad. Plus I checked they have partnership with best telecom companies in many countries. Will be using it every time I visit abroad.

I have been using Flexiroam for a few years and it has always worked well and met my needs when traveling internationally. Unfortunately, no use over the past year and a half, but getting ready to start using it again with upcoming trips. Excellent customer service and they reinstated my expired credits!

I travel 6-7 times a month for work.
And FlexiRoam has been my choice for the past year.
You cannot go wrong with them.
The support team is always there to help you and I’m happy with their performance.
The prices are good and I consider them Essential for all my travel to stay connected.

I’ve been a flexiroam user for a year and it’s become indispensable for traveling. Even if I travel in a group and purchase a WiFi device, I will still get flexiroam data as backup because it’s usually more reliable (and the battery on WiFi devices usually only last a couple of hours).

I haven’t had a chance to try the sim yet in Egypt, but I can’t say enough good things about flexiroams support, esp. a rep named Jess. He was polite, knowledgeable, prompt, and extremely helpful in helping me through some computer problems I was having in placing my order. I have a great deal of confidence that if I have problems in my travels Flexiroam support will have my back.

Everytime I use the WhatsApp support my issues get resolved & they make it fool-proof for someone like me, a non-tech person! The speed isn’t always perfect for things like AirTag but 80-90% of the time in my last several years of using them it’s been great & a savior in foreign countries

I’m a flight attendant for an international airline. Constantly moving from country to country every month. The service is perfect and they have promotions all year long so you end up paying for a very affordable service. This is indispensable when traveling !

My phone has many issues which cause me to face some problems with Flexiroam but fortunately their customer and help service center were quick and efficient with diverse solutions and clear patience with all matters.

I have been using Flexiroam for several years now and I can say I’m very satisfied with the service.

Of course nothing is perfect and sometimes I encountered certain issues where I couldn’t get data connection in different countries

But then the customer service rep was always tried their best to help and I can say that 95% of the time they managed to promptly help solved the issue.

That’s why I’m still using it until today. Hope the service keep improving and getting better!

Originally purchased a data plan for Egypt, worked for two days then stopped due to unexpected maintenance, I expected it to be for a couple hrs.. it’s now been over 3 days with no estimated time on being fixed. Extremely unfortunate as the service worked perfectly and convenient and the customer service was great but without the network I’m stranded and have to look to alternative means. If the network is fixed I’ll update this review to a full 5 stars.

This is the worst product ever, the first time I used it, the SIM card sticker did not work, they sent me a replacement, however they did mention that the subsequent replacements would need to be at mine cost when the product does NOT work in the first place. Guess what I recently move the SIM card to a new smart phone and the phone doesn’t read the SIM card again, exact same problems from day 1.

As the title says, it’s so slow the speed is less than 3g. That won’t work in 2022, maybe 2008, but not 2022.

FYI I spent 30 mins with your customer service and it did nothing to help with the speed, got told by the rep guy that there was nothing he could doo… perhaps when you buy data from the service providers in each country, don’t cheap out…

Even when you travel for countries with poor network services they try the best to find a solution for you. Very straightforward communication, always available.

Best price for data plan I used esim and for my son sim card as his iphone was not compatible with esim

I purchased data shared and awesome service what can I say so glad and happy compare to others I would not look any further

I had a problem on our trip getting my eSim to activate, due to my own user error. The flexiroam customer support was excellent and resolved our issue quickly! We will use their eSim in the future!

I will admit that a couple of years ago when I first discovered FlexiroamX, I was a bit intimidated by the set up. However, with the prompt and immediate assistance from customer support, I was up and running, and never look back. Flexin is well developed and well maintained and their customer support is tops. Whether you’re a monthly traveler or an occasional traveler, they have a plan that will work for you. I recommend that you buy your plan before you go and top up with a little extra so if you need to add some time or GB it’s instantly available.

Recently flexiroam has become more and more unreliable as an alternative to international data roaming.
Many issues with the eSIM and in particular data roaming in western countries such as USA, EU and Australia to name a few.
The data is amongst the most expensive ones and with the lack of coverage, there seems to be maintenance every time when I have issues that I never had before with this product. It’s time to move on and say goodbye to flexiroam, switch to a much better alternative product that has not only better and more reliable coverage, it’s also at nearly half the price of flexiroam. Your support team is helpful but lacks results. The auto bot that tries to identify technical issues, is not working and impersonal.
Flexiroam needs some serious upgrade before I return as a customer who travels the world and needs to rely on a mature product. Good luck.

I cannot give this company zero stars. After many years of great work, now they are useless. Any uneducated customer care. System stops working. Every message to customer care takes minimum of 15 minutes to reply, without any care or solution. 4GB disappeared from my account and when I complained, they sent me a link to complain with the management. 100% useless. I HAVE TO SAY WITH GOOD EXPERIENCE THAT I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. I am moving to Mobimatter, another internet APP.

Great app. Although sometimes I get some difficulties to connect a new plan, the international support by Jess solved it in a few minutes!! I recommend it 100%. My only suggestion is that it could do and receive regular phone calls.

When it works it’s fine but I’ve had it happen to me multiple times where it just stops working all of the sudden. Sometimes for short periods of time (a few minutes to a few hours) and sometimes for long periods of time (days). They do have a responsive support team via WhatsApp but be prepared to spend a bit of time with them. I was on with them once after service stopped for two days and they helped fix the issue but it then stopped working the next day and was on with support for over five hours with no resolution. They literally suggested I “go outside”. Unfortunately I have a lot of data left on the plan, but I can’t wait for it to switch back on, especially while traveling, so will be trying to find a different solution. This has happened to me in multiple countries so, while I do understand they’re at the mercy of local networks it is still too inconsistent across my varies experiences for me to be able to recommend in good faith.

I have been using flexiroam for at least 10 years or more never had issues with it connect everywhere I go.
Support team always there to assist and help you get connected all will be done within few minutes.
