MealimeMealPlansRecipes is nice and is giving me some recipe ideas however there are a few things that would make it shine in my opinion. To be fair I am trying to eat healthier so there is a slant towards options to help with that. 1. Show the nutrition on the front page instead of making me dig into a drop down menu. This would help me decide to add it to the meal plan in the first place. 2. Many ingredients are not measured in the total Nutrition. For example, I have seen several times now where an ingredient is listed but an amount is not given. Mayo being one of them. It is often added in the instructions itself but the amount is omitted from the Ingredients and treated as though it is a spice. This seems very misleading for someone trying to limit calories or count macros. 3. Create a way to reorganize the meals into Morning, Day, and Evening. It would be great to open MealimeMealPlansRecipes and choose “Breakfast” and see only what you have filtered into that mealtime. I am going to try and adjust some of these meals with substitutions based on my current needs and see how that works. I am still on the fence about keeping MealimeMealPlansRecipes until I try some modifications but in the meantime I am happy to have at least some meal inspirations at the ready.
Great app- reduce food waste

Loved MealimeMealPlansRecipes because you choose recipes for the week, and it will auto compose a grocery list- yay! Even better was after you purchased the grocery item or if you already had that item in your cupboard you could mark it off the list and it would disappear- easy peasy. Loved the concept of reducing food waste too! Going to be candid about the part I was disappointed with- not a big fan of the recipes. Maybe I chose not great recipes? I felt there was limited selection of different types of recipes - The 4 recipes I’ve done so far are wordy, lengthy, more info than necessary, plus it’s kinda hard to follow because there is a lot of unnecessary prep and lots of dishes to use- which means extra cleaning afterward... the recipes are a little over complicated. A good dish doesn’t need to be overloaded with spice or ingredients. I have a family, last thing I want to do is use a ton of extra pots/pans/bowls and kitchen items, stove/oven/ and 5 different mixing bowls plus something else all just for one meal. I don’t need the fanciest dinner in the world, just something healthy, straightforward, easy. If I had all the time in the world would be fine, but I’m a busy mom and if some recipes could be a little easier and more simplified than I don’t mind doing a few other recipes that are more involved. A better selection of recipes, include options for crockpot recipes, would make me want to use MealimeMealPlansRecipes weekly.
Super great, one change to make it 5 stars

I want so so so bad to give MealimeMealPlansRecipes 5 stars. It deserves it. It really does. I cannot appreciate enough the magic MealimeMealPlansRecipes brings to my kitchen when I can enter gluten & dairy allergies & instead of just taking away all the recipes that don’t specifically say they’re GF/DF, it just adjusts the recipes to make them what I can have! So instead of wheat/white flour, use GF all purpose flour, or almond flour, or instead of sautéing something in butter, sauté it in oil. These are all changes that I would naturally make if I was following a recipe in order to fit my allergies, but they do it for me. It’s the most beautiful thing I have seen in a recipe app by far. That alone makes me want to give it 10 stars.
The only only drawback I have is that it doesn’t adjust recipes for families. I have a family of five, and we like to have leftovers. The most I can set MealimeMealPlansRecipes to is 4 servings, which obviously doesn’t even feed everyone in my house for dinner, let alone leftovers. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see that option upped to any number a family might need instead of limiting to 4. It also seems the total cook time is always WAY more than what is listed, even if I’ve done some steps ahead of time. Maybe it’s just me.
But otherwise, I really do love MealimeMealPlansRecipes & am so grateful for the allergy options. Best app for allergy recipes I’ve EVER seen!
Love this app!

I have been using the pro version of MealimeMealPlansRecipes for about a year. I love that it creates your grocery list for you. The recipes are all healthy and it is great that you can add your own recipes on the pro version. MealimeMealPlansRecipes has made weekly meal planning a breeze and reduces the amount of food waste my household produces. There are only a few small things I have problems with. Sometimes I find the instructions to be confusing. Some of the recipes have instructions like “put half of the ingredients in one bowl and the other in a smaller bowl”. It can be hard to figure out what is supposed to be in each element of the recipe. At least for me, I’d prefer the instructions for each thing to be separate. Another thing I’ve noticed with the recipes is some of them severely under estimate cooking time. I rarely pay attention to the times on the recipes and cook by instinct. Same with the amount of seasoning for each recipe. I understand that they are trying to keep it simple, but I have a feeling if you followed these recipes to the letter, the results would be disappointing. With those criticisms in mind, I would say this is an excellent app for confident home cooks that need organization and a little inspiration. Beginner cooks may have some difficultly if they follow the instructions too closely.
I have been looking for an app that would recommend delicious meals and provide all of the instructions on how to make the meals as well as the list of ingredients I need to shop for each week. MealimeMealPlansRecipes really takes the guesswork out of what I need to do for the week. Clearly they have thought through the user experience. Out of curiosity, I downloaded about five other “meal planning”apps. Some wanted me to create an account and sign up for a trial while the others were not recommending meals to me, they were just apps for me to add my own recipes and create my own schedule (no thanks lol). A few notable features that I found pretty awesome: it started with a quick intro to MealimeMealPlansRecipes via welcome screens whereas O had to guess how other apps worked, it asked me if I had any food allergies or foods that I did not like and actually provided a list of options to choose from, unlike the other apps, it also had visual pictures of the meals - all I had to do was select each meal that I was interested in cooking. I could remove things from the list, I could see it in a calendar view, and it generated a very easy grocery list. I’m actually considering getting the pro version. I also like the feature that you could send feedback to the chefs -that made it really personal. Great job on MealimeMealPlansRecipes!

I struggle, like most people, with healthy eating, meal prep and finding things everyone likes. My family on top has some dietary sensitivities. MealimeMealPlansRecipes was recommended to me about 3 yrs ago and I, to this day use it almost daily. I have not upgraded to premium service and have been using only the free side thus far. After you create your profile and have put in restriction and dislikes as well as likes, you can create your meal plan by either picking recipes that interest you or letting MealimeMealPlansRecipes pick recipes that will save money by using produce in common. Personally, I let my kid pick out about 1-2 recipes weekly and the rest I will pick based on our schedule, mealime then gives you your shopping list with the option to order everything at your local grocery stores thru MealimeMealPlansRecipes . And oh did I mention MealimeMealPlansRecipes only gives me recipes within your dietary limits of thing one can eat and would enjoy?! MealimeMealPlansRecipes simply makes life easier, helps you cook fresh and has quiet detailed recipes. If I had to criticize one thing it would be the time estimation of some recipes. But really that’s so minor that it’s laughable. I love love love MealimeMealPlansRecipes and cannot image my life without 😋

My best friend told me about MealimeMealPlansRecipes and I downloaded it right away. I HATE meal planning, meal prepping, meal shopping. I like to eat out so I can pay someone to cook for me. But let’s face it, that is costly and most of the time, not as healthy. I like to cook, I just needed help. A lot of it. MealimeMealPlansRecipes literally has CHANGED MY LIFE!!!! I have had it for 3 weeks and my family hasn’t eaten the same meal once! We have had healthy meals made in less than 30 or 40 min, and the prepping is usually done as I cook. The kids alternate helping me cook and doing the dishes. We have saved 6 pounds of food waste, and have saved probably $100 at least in groceries. MealimeMealPlansRecipes does EVERYTHING for you! It calculates all the ingredients you need for all the meals and puts it on a shopping list. Even staple items like salt! I cook every night now, and don’t have to think about anything. I spent the $50 for pro because it allows me to review meal history, and gives me a lot more recipes. Plus, I just loved MealimeMealPlansRecipes so much from day one, I wanted the FULL benefits. Download MealimeMealPlansRecipes NOW! You will not be disappointed. I promise. THANK YOU, MEALIME!!!

We’ve been using Mealime for more than two and a half years and still love it. Originally, we just wanted an app to help us, a couple of newlyweds moved to a new city, avoid eating pizza three times a week, but MealimeMealPlansRecipes has helped us both learn to love cooking and added some adventure into our weeknight meals.
We each have our own Mealime on our phones and I cook 4 days of the week while my husband covers the other three. We shop for our ingredients—Mealime makes the list easy to manage and you can check off things you probably already have at home (black pepper) and make substitutions if there’s something you don’t like. I have a food allergy and it was easy for me to let MealimeMealPlansRecipes know what I didn’t want in any recipe.
And for all that, we’re becoming better cooks! Garlic and olive oil are magic, as Mealime has taught us. One of our default meals, salmon and asparagus, is fancy but ridiculously easy, but we’ve also learned how to cook (and enjoy) more exotic fare—mint green pea mash or roasted grapes. It’s been more delicious, and more interesting, than just getting fast food.

My husband and I work full time and have always had a hard time meal planning. We both have food allergies so eating out is complicated as well. This has led to a lot of hangry nights trying to figure out what to eat. Enter Mealime. I can plan our meals in minutes. I select the 4 person meals so we can eat the same dinner 2 nights in a row to make life easier. Our groceries budget has decreased dramatically and I have more room in my fridge and pantry but I have meals to use the ingredients I have on hand. It’s way less food waste than when we would just buy food on sale and create something during the week. Instead of going to 2-3 stores to shop sales, I now save so much money that I am saving I can just go to 1 store and buy everything even if it’s full price. We haven’t upgraded to the pro version yet but if they do a recipe import feature I’ll be upgrading! The free version is awesome. It might have a few issues with editing the plan but even still this thing is the best app I’ve ever downloaded. The food is amazing. The Korean Beef Bowl is one our favorite recipes, and the Cobb Salad is super yummy too. Keep up the good work Mealime. I almost feel you should turn non-profit since you are do-gooders and go donation based. You might make more money by saving families and moms from the dreaded meal planning and list preparation! 😜
MealimeMealPlansRecipes has become totally indispensable for me. Let’s face it; scouring the Internet for healthy recipes every week stinks. They’re buried in long blog posts, often poorly written or tested, and you can’t easily string them together to make a meal plan or even a grocery list.
Mealime saves me so much time and money on wasted groceries. The recipes are tested, easy to follow, macro balanced, super customizable, and yes, they’re delicious! I’m a pretty serious home chef, and I’ve even learned a few new tricks and techniques from Mealime. The user experience leaves nothing wanting. Search and filter is really advanced, allowing you to search for meals with say, more than 30g of protein per serving or omit foods you don’t like (bye goat cheese). It auto-builds a grocery list, including substitutions, and has touchless step-by-step instructions. NO MORE DIRTY PHONES! You can even easily import recipes from all of the food bloggers and not have to read about their recent trip Tulum.
I’m not sure if it’s a native integration or user generated, but I’ve found most of the Mealime recipes pre-programmed into my fitness pal, making macro tracking even easier.

I have the pro version and it’s changed my kitchen game! I can cook, but actually thinking up what to cook and then making sure I had all the ingredients was just about impossible for me and I’ve spent years of frantic searching through the freezer every night at 5pm trying to come up with something to cook. Mealtime saves me time, effort, and most importantly money while providing absolutely delicious, healthy, impressive meals which are quick to put on the table. My only disappointment has been with the Indian recipes so far...being English I am used to a wide variety of authentic and delicious curries, and unfortunately MealimeMealPlansRecipes does tend to rely on an overuse of ‘curry powder’ and turmeric instead of the subtle blending of many spices that true Indian food is renowned for. I don’t know if this is to cater for more American tastes or just to make the recipe simpler to cook, but every curry I’ve tried so far I have had to doctor up with more spices for a better, more authentic flavour. Having said that, every other type of recipe has been fantastic. MealimeMealPlansRecipes is bringing back a love of cooking to my life instead of a jaded, repetitive production line of boring staples. Thank you!

My husband and I have had a heck of a time over the years figuring out dinner every day. I'm vegan and he's vegetarian, and there aren't really any meal kit services that cater to our diets. We tried one but found we didn't go through the food fast enough and hated all the packaging waste. Mealime has helped us make figuring out dinner easier, helps us avoid food and packaging waste, saves us money at the grocery store by only buying exactly what we need, and has made our evenings at home much more enjoyable. I'm worried about getting burned out on the vegan recipes because there don't seem to be many, but we'll see what gets added over time. I wish the cooking mode included pictures of prep or GIFs of how to properly cut/prep the produce to help those of us that aren't experienced chefs. I'd also be nice to look at all available dishes at any time without having to cancel out the current meal plan. But even with room for improvement this is a great app and I'll happily subscribe as long as more vegan dishes keep getting added (don't be afraid to call for veggie cheese like Daiya or meat substitutes in the future!).

I have two children under 2 years old and usually forget about dinner, until it’s time for dinner, and then my toddler is throwing a fit because he’s hungry and dinner is still frozen. I used to love cooking but I would get overwhelmed with recipes with lots of ingredients not knowing what I needed to buy, what I already have, etc.
Cue Mealime: you pick a recipe list for the week, if there are ingredients similar in both recipes it adds it all into one grocery list with amount needed, and just compiled an entire grocery list for me. Something that would have taken me probably 30-45 minutes looking at different recipes and opening/closing different websites to cross check recipe ingredients. The recipe instructions are so easy to follow (ingredient measurements right in the steps- genius, no going back and forth from ingredients list to recipe steps). And to add- the recipes are over all mostly healthy well balanced meals which is exactly what I’m looking for trying to create a healthier lifestyle for myself and my family. This free app alone has lifted so much weight and anxiety off my shoulders. I can’t thank the developers enough. When I have the money i plan to upgrade to pro!
Best app ever

I generally don’t write reviews but this is possibly my favorite app of all time. It has made it SO easy and fun to shop and cook dinner. It is absolute GENIUS to be able to pick out your recipes for the week, easily addend your shopping list, and have that list categorized by section of the store to make shopping SO painless and fast. My boyfriend and I both have access to MealimeMealPlansRecipes which means either of us can edit recipes or run to the grocery store when we have time. I have been using MealimeMealPlansRecipes for years now and I spend less time looking for good recipes (since almost all of the ones I have tried on Mealime have been good!), less time grocery shopping, and less time cooking since the recipes are almost always made in 30-40 minutes!! And they are so healthy and delicious! So, less time doing the painful stuff, more time eating delicious food and so much opportunity for variety! I love the yummy looking photos, the simple and easy to follow recipes that are healthy and delicious, and the hands free cooking mode!! I was also excited to see the new feature - the ability to have all of your ingredients transferred to a grocery service and delivered to your house - SO. GOOD.
My husband had open heart surgery about a month ago. When I began searching for ways to cook and eat healthier, I was very overwhelmed. I had no idea how to go about making the lifestyle change we needed to better our health. I spent several days researching the internet before I finally came to you. Immediately, I knew it was exactly what we needed. I chose the low carb menus and we have been eating them for the last 3 weeks. I print your recipes out and put them in a binder, making up our menus a couple of weeks in advance. I found a couple of templates on the internet to write my daily menu on and I also write the ingredients that I need to purchase at the store. Doing it this way, simplifies things tremendously for me. The portion sizes have been great for the two of us and sometimes we have extra left over for my husbands lunch at work the next day. We have loved everything we have cooked. The last couple of days I have posted what we ate and recommended it to my friends. I have had several comments about how delicious it looks. I have to tell them, “Oh, it was!” Thank you so much for your hard work and for making things so much easier on me.

As a registered dietitian and avid cook, I like to have meals planned out in advance. However, actually finding and planning everything is not my favorite pastime. I’ve gone from planning everything myself to using Emeals (which got expensive AND resulted in a lot of food waste) along with a plethora of other meal planning apps and programs. I came across Mealime a year or more ago and haven’t looked back since. I love the filters for eating preferences, budget, allergies, and nutritional info. Going premium is well worth it and I LOVE that this is designed with several fellow dietitians on the team. Knowing that, I feel good recommending MealimeMealPlansRecipes to all my patients who want help with meal planning. I look forward to the regular updates that add even more recipes. My only recommendation is that I’d like an easy way to import the recipes to MyFitnessPal (another app I both use myself and recommend to patients). I know we can use the quick add feature on MFP, but I like having the ability to add from a url so all the ingredients, pictures, etc. are right there and ready for the next time I make the recipe. Just a suggestion. Otherwise an awesome tool for this short-on-time vegetarian!
One of my favorite apps!

I cannot say enough about how much I love Mealime. Not only has MealimeMealPlansRecipes helped to reduce our household food waste to nearly nothing, but we are saving time, energy, money, and stress. Also, THE MEALS ARE DELICIOUS AND EASY. We have been using MealimeMealPlansRecipes for nearly all of our meals over the past two months and have yet to find a recipe that we don’t like. My husband is a big eater, so I love that I can change the serving size to 6 and know that we will have the perfect amount for dinner and lunch for both of us. Never again do I need to fight for the leftovers. With the serving size feature, grocery shopping has never been easier. I love that the list tells me exactly the amount of each ingredient that I need to grab. No more in store guessing and no more spending an hour to create my list. (I also love that I can add my non food items to the list so that everything is in one place). Lastly, the instructions are everything I have ever wanted in a recipe. THE INGREDIENTS ARE IN LINE WITH THE DIRECTIONS... 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 no more scrolling up and down to figure out how much of each ingredient I need. (And no more scrolling through blogs about how the chef’s grandmother was a lemon farmer to get to the recipe...). Download MealimeMealPlansRecipes and use it immediately, you will not regret it.

After some time preparing to move out of my parents house and into college, I realized I really needed to try to understand meal planning, hopefully before I went and would be too caught in a frenzy to be organized. So I got this, mainly because it appealed to various diets, it showed to have quick recipes, it was free, and seemed to make itself as a “hassle-free” app. Surprise- it lets you restrict recipes based on ingredients you don’t like-which is great because unfortunately I have a sensitive stomach and I just don’t deal with some foods. There were lots of recipes. From what I’ve seen, most are kind of out there- not just spaghetti, meatloaf or special casserole - the stuff you know how to make and really don’t need a planner for. No, these are meals I guess would cater to those looking to try new things. That or I really don’t eat different stuff a lot. Either way I enjoy what is offered. It helped me learn the basics of meal planning, and honestly I don’t really do much else- MealimeMealPlansRecipes provides a shopping list for you from the meals and you can also add more items to get the complete shopping trip I use the 2 serving because I’ll make my dinner and use the second portion for next day lunch, which pinches more pennies and help me stay on the plan Overall great!!
The app I tell everyone I know about!

I used a meal kit delivery for awhile and loved it but when it was time to start pinching some pennies and we eliminated that from our budget. I became so overwhelmed trying to meal plan that I thought we’d just eat the same thing every night because I couldn’t possibly come up with enough lunches and dinners for everyone. I decided to see if there was any kind of app that could possibly help me and stumbled upon Mealime and since my first time using it I have loved it so much I tell everyone I know about it. We have not had a bad recipe yet, my husband loves the meals, my kids love the meals, and I enjoy cooking with MealimeMealPlansRecipes . There are so many things that seem so simple they do but are missing from other apps: In cooking mode, they list out the amount of each ingredient you need. This is huge because other apps don’t tell you how much and you’re constantly having to scroll from your list of ingredients back to the recipe part. They offer suggestions for alternative ingredients which has helped me save some money if something was too expensive or out of stock I could replace it. After about 2 months using MealimeMealPlansRecipes every week and being 100% satisfied I did decide to go with the pro version. And I still tell everyone I know to get MealimeMealPlansRecipes! I love it and only have good things to say about it!
I can’t say enough good things about MealimeMealPlansRecipes. I’m not a cook and really don’t enjoy cooking. We have food allergies and dietary restrictions so meals are a challenge. MealimeMealPlansRecipes lets you customize your dietary needs and shows you step by step on how to prepare the meals. Each step also has the ingredients listed FOR that step so you don’t have to go back to beginning of the recipe to see how much olive oil you need etc. It’s like the creators asked people who don’t like cooking “what could help ease your cooking pain” and then put those suggestions in MealimeMealPlansRecipes. The other amazing thing? IT’S 90% MOSTLY FREE with no obnoxious ads that keep popping up while you’re mashing your cauliflower (so irritating)! Then it’s only $5 a month if you want the nutrition info and access to special recipes.... but there are SOOOOOOOOO many free delicious recipes at no cost. This was especially important for us low income families during a pandemic. Oh wait.. the grocery list!! It also creates a grocery list based on your weekly meal plan.. and alerts you on possible allergens. I could seriously kiss these app creators and chefs on the MOUTH (figuratively speaking of course). We’ve saved a lot of money cooking this way. Also, I’m now cooking for my neighbor too. Whhaaaaatttt? I know right? I love this apps guts!!!
Helpful app, with some kinks :(

I like the recipes, the grocery list integration, and easy to follow recipes. It calculates macros. But if you want to modify any recipes you can’t remove ingredients and have it calculate for you. Still it makes meal prep a bit easier especially if you get bored of the same foods quickly like i do! What’s most annoying about MealimeMealPlansRecipes is being unable to modify a meal plan. For example if I picked out 4 recipes for the week and I only meant to pick 3, you can’t just subtract it from your meal plan. You have to create a new one. In the FAQs the reason they gave was that this eliminates food waste. That is a LAME explanation, app developers!!! Fix this please. I am all for minimizing food waste. But what if you haven’t even made it to the store before buying what you need for the meal plan? Or you want to modify while at the store?? People have lives and things come up and we need flexibility in meal planning.... having to start a new one is a pain.
Overall, I would recommend MealimeMealPlansRecipes. Upgrading seems to be worth it, I still have to see. But if you don’t upgrade MealimeMealPlansRecipes is incessantly trying to get you to upgrade.
My go-to for meal planning! One request tho

I’ve relied on Mealime for meal planning for over a year now. MealimeMealPlansRecipes is super easy to use, the meals are delicious, and I feel good after each meal knowing I’m eating much healthier than getting takeout food. I love the convenience of the recipe list and all the features you get even without signing up for premium. The selection of Asian meals on MealimeMealPlansRecipes could be improved- I’d love to see some more authentic Chinese recipes. Or just more exotic recipes in general. I’ve liked everything I’ve made with Mealime, but the recipes play it a tad too safe in my opinion. But this is just a small wish and I love MealimeMealPlansRecipes regardless.
What I REALLY want to see in MealimeMealPlansRecipes is meal prep capability. I’d love to see a function where, after you select your meals for the week, MealimeMealPlansRecipes tells you what you can chop/cook ahead of time. I currently try to figure it out myself but it involves a lot of clicking back and forth between the ingredients list and the recipes. If you guys add meal prep functionality, I would sign up for premium for sure!
Fantastic app!

This is the first review I have written for any app ever. :) I’ve been really pleased with using this for the past month or so. I have a super long commute and an insane work schedule which used to make me dread coming home and either eating the same meal I’d eaten the entire week or ordering take out. With MealimeMealPlansRecipes, I have an awesome variety of recipes at my finger tips which are nutritious, quick, and uncomplicated.
It is such a relief to have a grocery list already out together for my shopping trip; it’s cost- and time-effective. The cost usually ends up a bit less than if I had put together my own menu for two people for an entire week’s worth of lunches and dinners and it only takes 15 minutes to put a menu together. My boyfriend appreciates the variety, and I appreciate how much money we’re saving by not doing take out. :) I also really appreciate how little food waste I have at the end of the week.
All in all, I’m really pleased with MealimeMealPlansRecipes. I use the free version now but am keen to try the paid version as it would be nice to look up lower calorie recipes and save our favorites.
A must for busy mom’s

I love the flexibility of being able to choose your own meals. We have tried for the last several years ( 7+) various home boxed meals like plated, blue apron, home chef … After a while those meals get redundant and recycled. What I like about this, is I can search for the ingredients that I have in and use those ingredients up, and also be able to choose the flexibility of what my family will eat. The home box services, you get five meals but you’re at their discretion and if you don’t like a recipe you have no way to opt out of that recipe. With this where you’re picking your meal, you were in complete control and can admit or add ingredients as you see fit. I love the integration into my local grocery stores online pick up, so I can meal plan and grocery shop all in one 30 minute sitting. I also like the fact that I can start over, and change my meal plan if the groceries for that week will exceed our weekly budget. We’ve only been using MealimeMealPlansRecipes for about a month, so I sure hope that the recipes continue to be fresh and not become redundant and recycled.
So MealimeMealPlansRecipes runs beautifully. They have made it very streamline and user friendly. I wanted to find something that would truly be a go to tool for meal planning. Organizing my shopping list. I know it’s going to be healthy. However just a tiny thing and it is most likely a personal preference of how the order the instructions for cooking. Some things you would thing you would do before others type of thing. But so minor compared to how effective MealimeMealPlansRecipes is. We try to plan about five meals a week. Leaving two night for us to go out. Two people eating and I do the four serving size so I can have lunch the next day. The most I have spent on groceries for just the meal planning has been $81. That’s honestly cheap for Fresh ingredients. I am honestly very impressed with MealimeMealPlansRecipes. *edit* just a thought as a step up for MealimeMealPlansRecipes to offer for the subscription, or do a subscription pro with a section the has videos of the meals the person selects that week. So those that are learning to cook have more direction. Learning tools and basic knowledge.

MealimeMealPlansRecipes is literally making meal planning for my bf and I so much easier. I love how you can choose your eating preferences and still exclude ingredients you don’t like! Also, love that you can choose between 2 to 4 servings (we choose 4 so we have leftovers for lunch the next day) and it gives breaks down the ingredients accordingly - making grocery shopping a breeze, especially since you can mark off items you already have. The recipes I’ve tried thus far have been easy and so delicious!
Minus one star bc you can’t choose BOTH pescatarian AND low carb eating preferences as a combination - it’s one or the other. Also minus one star because when I do choose pescatarian it’s almost as if MealimeMealPlansRecipes assumes I want fish/shellfish included in every entree....I would like to see more vegetarian options so I can get a break from seafood. There’s ways to work around these issues, but would be nice if it was a little easier.
Overall, I would definitely recommend MealimeMealPlansRecipes to anyone who’s just starting to meal plan!

I am just beginning to follow the autoimmune protocol diet for addressing some ongoing health issues, and MealimeMealPlansRecipes has been so helpful. The free version has some preference availability, but the full/upgraded version allowed me to set preferences so every meal I make is safe for me to eat while my choice of ingredients is limited. The time estimates are pretty good if you are quick with chopping up foods and don’t get distracted. I think I took a little longer than the time listed, but I also was prepping some other food at the same time.
I chose the 4 person option for my first recipes, and the portions are really big, so I may try the 2 person next time. I am glad to have the leftovers to limit the number of times I am cooking during the week, though. It is easy to adjust preferences, and the automatic shopping list generation is GREAT. I am so thankful that my friend introduced me to MealimeMealPlansRecipes, and I am going to tell my nutritionist, friends, and anyone else who will listen about it, too.

I have only been using MealimeMealPlansRecipes for a few weeks, but I already have a lot of affection for it. Cooking has been difficult for me and now that I have a two year old and ten month old twins, it has only gotten harder. For the longest time, I would look for recipes on Pinterest only to struggle with putting together a grocery list from there. The fact that MealimeMealPlansRecipes populates a grocery list for you is enough in and of itself, but the benefits do not stop there. The lack of ads allows me to view the recipes with ease. It’s also amazing that they put the portions of ingredients within the instructions so that you do not have to keep flipping back and forth through the recipe. Every recipe I have made so far contains consistently clear and simple instructions, so novice and nervous cooks like myself don’t mess up the meal. I’m currently using the free version, but my husband and I are considering the paid version if only to express our gratitude to the creators. Thank you, Mealime!!!
Love It

MealimeMealPlansRecipes has been the answer to my prayers! It takes the guesswork out of cooking delicious and healthy and different meals. Before I had MealimeMealPlansRecipes, every time I stepped into the kitchen, I had to make gazillion decisions about what to cook. I was eating a lot of the same food. With MealimeMealPlansRecipes, I have different recipes—a good balance of fish and poultry and game (I need my protein)—and the recipes are so tasty! And I am not agonizing about what I will eat. I actually look forward to cooking AND to eating! Unless this sounds like I am gaining weight, let me say that I have lost weight, so now my friends are asking me how I did it. I lost weight with MealimeMealPlansRecipes and with Jerzy’s Happy Body workout (no, no one is paying me for this! I write out of pure gratitude that both this meal app and the workout program have improved my lifestyle!)
I use MealimeMealPlansRecipes with an online service to do the grocery shopping, so now I am saving time and can take a breather! I cannot stop praising MealimeMealPlansRecipes and have told all my friends about it.
MealimeMealPlansRecipes is an absolute LIFESAVER when it comes to saving time, money, and sanity! I’ve tried a plethora of grocery list and meal planning apps over the years, but they all seemed to fall short; using the apps actually turned out to be more stressful than worrying about meals. MealimeMealPlansRecipes is like no other food planning app I’ve tried. It’s easy to use, it actually reduces stress instead of adding another thing to worry about, it LOOKS FABULOUS (so professional and inspiring), and it actually functions even if you don’t buy the premium version! One of the things that frustrates me the most when it comes to apps is the sneaky way many companies try to force you to buy the premium version of MealimeMealPlansRecipes by making the free version virtually unusable! This is no such app, and I LOVE the way it works even without buying the premium version. I may just buy it to support the company and thank them for making my life so much easier without tricking me! Thank you so much Mealime makers!! 💗
