Just updating my review. I’m so sorry I disliked it earlier so I’m rewriting my review. I had an iPhone 6 and loved AthanUtility . Had no idea that when AthanUtility was updated it no longer worked right on that iOS which could only upgrade to 12 point something. Had to get a new iPhone today and now using iOS 14 . No idea everything changed and now my app works right again , the settings option is back & widgets make sense - almost. So sorry I didn’t realize the upgrade disabled the ability for me to use it as I had been and was so frustrated but now it’s back to working and this is my favorite Athan app. It’s simple and straight to the point and it works - yay!!!

The timings are accurate, it comes with a compass that is also accurate and easy to use, and I adore the color effect!!

Only reason its 4/5 is because AthanUtility did run slow on me and glitched within 10 minute of downloading and using. It takes A LONG TIME to actually choose or change a color for me bc of the glitch.

The design is very elegant and simple to use. Love the analog clock with the prayer times around👍🏻. Developer makes it easy to contact him for any inquiries or comments. All around very well designed product! Looking forward to future projects.

I tried couple of athan apps until I found this underrated app! No ads, easy to use, and no in-app purchase you need. Highly recommend 10/10.

I love how simple AthanUtility is, with no ads too! I’ve been using this on my phone for over a year now and AthanUtility has never failed me. I would like to point out though that I recently got an apple watch and there seems to be a bug on the watch app which doesn’t let you view or get notifications from the athan utility app because “the location is not set on the iPhone” even though my location has indeed been set and hasn’t changed. Hopefully there’s a fix for this!

obviously a lot of us deleted Muslim Pro and started to keep track of prayer times in other ways. AthanUtility is super easy to navigate through and actually love the layout! Great reminder app will recommend to everyone

The use of widgets, different calendars for each Madhab, protection of personal information (unlike other apps), and a simple yet elegant user interface makes this a must download. Highly recommend to share with family and friends.

I appreciate how simple and well designed AthanUtility is. I also appreciate how the developer made it free and there are no Adds.

Beautiful, accurate times, minimalist and clean design with the option to change to the exact color that matches your vibe. I love it! Couldn’t ask for a better athan app :) I also love that it doesn’t collect or sell our data, privacy is so important to me

I am running the latest version. I noticed in the last couple of days that the widget wasn’t showing anything. It shows “open athan utility to load athan times”, but when I open AthanUtility , all the prayers are showing 0:00

AthanUtility is so great and very well organized! I love every aspect especially being able to customize so much and make it personal to me! I highly recommend AthanUtility and am confident many will fall in love with it too!

Love AthanUtility. Prayer times seem to be accurate. The widget looks good too, thanks for fixing the issue with widget refreshing. Can’t wait to see what the UI overhaul will look like!

Edit: looks like the widget issue is still here. It’ll sometimes say a different prayer than the actual one.

I was already annoyed with other Athan apps and their constant ads, but when I heard that they were selling our information in what should have been a purely religious service, I felt betrayed. AthanUtility calculates Athan through your device rather than contacting some server, keeping your information private. Well worth it!

This is app is very practical and friendly to use .
The way it’s designed helps all Muslims around the world know the prayer time and the direction of the prayer , the moon , the sun position in the sky . It gives warning when the second prayer is 15 min away in case a person didn’t pray .
I just love it !! I have it from couple of years but the update is even nicer .

This is the best athan app I’ve used so far. It’s very straight forward, has simple setting features that are easy to use, and is aesthetically pleasing. The widget is also great and actually works! I love the sun progress shown on the bottom, moon graphic on top, and the Hijri date at the bottom. Also newest feature to see the full calendar year timings by swiping up is awesome Alhamdullah!

AthanUtility is straight to the point and easy to use. Everything you need such as prayer times and qibla are available right on the homepage, which makes navigation easy. The more mainstream Athan options are great and all, but they feel a little cluttered and have too much going on. All I really need is prayer times and qibla direction for the most part, and AthanUtility does that!

Assalamualaikum. In the era of paid apps. AthanUtility is completely ad free and has some very cool features. The UI and app design is just fantastic. May Allah bless the developers of AthanUtility, now I can quickly see all prayer times in widgets, get athans, qibla finder and a complete 1 year calendar of prayer times. I love AthanUtility. The only thing I wish AthanUtility has was, a full hijri calendar. Thank you for putting AthanUtility together for us..

A simple app that is aesthetically pleasing and draws you back to Allah. I love that the prayer times are the main screen rather than a tab on the side, and I really appreciate the 15 minute reminders before prayer. If you want an app that will tell you prayer times and remind you when to pray, this is it. I actually deleted the other apps I had been using after I got this one because the others seemed so cluttered in comparison/I always had to search for prayer times.

Back a few years ago AthanUtility wasn’t very usable. Prayer times were wrong and AthanUtility was glitchy. It just seemed like a little project back then. Now AthanUtility is refurbished and has never given me trouble. Runs very smooth and has the athan times at the exact time. Also being able to edit the colors is very visually pleasing. Last but not least, their are options between choosing who makes athan and even a marker that lets you see athan times all over the world. Great app.

AthanUtility has helped me so much by giving me the motivation to pray. Since turning on the notifications for AthanUtility it always gives me a final “15 minute until next prayer reminder” which helps so much partly because I feel guilty about not praying and when I see the notification I can’t just ignore it so I get up to pray!

First off AthanUtility doesn’t steal my data which is very important to me. Secondly I really appreciate how simple and organised it is. It’s not complicated at all. It’s so accessible. The Siri feature has helped me so much! Love this, highly recommended.
