My app keeps saying “illegal equipment!” Then says “no device found” thus leaving my light and app useless. It’s frustrating that I paid money just for them to stop working and be stuck on “tricolor flash”. Please help resolve this problem or find a way to get me new lights because I don’t like wasting my money. I enjoyed the lights at first when LEDBLE worked it was great but now it’s a reminder that money was wasted if this problem does not get fixed.

I’ve downloaded, deleted LEDBLE , then downloaded it again so many times, but it just will not work. The lights on my longboard work sometimes, but if I even try to open the music, it freezes the whole app and I have to delete it and re-download it again. It’s pretty disappointing to not have any audio, but Hopefully LEDBLE developers will work out these issues. It has the potential to be a really great product.

READ THIS! I bought your product! Right off your website! I then wrote a very sincere review looking for help on how to connect, my app was telling me that I was using “illegal equipment.” This is the reply I got from the developers... ["Dear customer, I am very sorry that because you have purchased counterfeit and pirated products in the market that are not authorized by the manufacturer, illegal devices cannot be connected. Please support genuine, thank you for your cooperation!"] ...I bought the LED lights straight from their fricken website and they tell me this crap! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! RETURN THEM IF YOU CAN!!

I’m disgusted that I spent over $500 on a set of quality rock lights with 3 zone controller and this joke of an app is what I’m supposed to use to control them? Custom functions don’t work. Must force close app to make any changes. Interface is deplorable and very dated. App doesn’t work half the time. LUX lighting you should be ashamed and embarrassed that this is who you have partnered with to control your “American made” high quality led products.

This could be a wonderful app... but, there are some very dysfunctional parts to it. The music setting won’t let you find most of your music, only like the last 20 or so songs added. The music will not actually play (even onto your phone speakers) even though the lights will flash to it, and he microphone setting doesn’t work at all! There is no ability to save custom lighting patterns to your favorites, so you can only have one custom sequence ready at any given time by accessing a whole separate menu. Would be nice for these lights to do everything they were advertised to do!

Spent the extra money for an led strip that can connect to music but I was upset to find out that feature doesn’t work. Then I plugged in my lights before I hung them and they worked so I hung them, then after hanging them I tried to connect them back to my phone and it never worked. The remote works but I cannot use the Bluetooth feature at all, if I would of seen these reviews I would’ve opted for a cheaper set of lights. Mine showed that it was connected, never said anything about an illegal connection they just never turned on via my phone. Dissapointing.

LED LAMP, much more user friendly and has more timer options. This LED BLE is the worse.
Use the same technique as instructed. But plug in strings, open app search for each one you plugged in and make sure to hit Control at the bottom then test the power. First time out and setting timer is easier and actually work at on and off. I haven’t tried the music part yet. But it’s on here along with instruction videos for types of lighting or music.

LEDBLE worked good for a long time and then I accidentally removed the bluetooth connection from my settings and now LEDBLE won’t connect back to my phone and I’ve tried everything I’ve read. I don’t know what else to do and also when I plug in lights it’s like it knows it’s there but it says illegal equipment and it’s never done that before so idk what to do but was a great app.

Blue and Green are switched on the color “ring” as well as on the static list. Connection to light is problematic, and software instructions page is not that helpful.
Instructions that do work (thanks to another reviewer) should be put in this this app software app page. Developer, please do so! Thank you!

Here they are again:

1. Unplug Light/Bluetooth module.
2. Completely close out this app software app.
3. Shutdown Bluetooth on your phone.
4. Open this app software app.
5. Start Bluetooth on your phone.
6. Plug in Light/Bluetooth module.
7. Start a "scan" in the this app software app. Device should now connect. If no connection, verify pin out is correct going to Led, that you have power, that software was shutdown completely, and this process was done in the correct order etc! and repeat the process.

Man I would of loved to use these lights on my car. But I keep having issues connecting the lights to LEDBLE . When I keep refreshing it says illegal equipment. I would of loved to see these things on. I already closed app turned off Bluetooth disconnected the lights and turned it all on at the same time and still says no device found. FIX THIS PLEASE! I’m on iPhone 7 Plus

So basically these lights aren’t bad and they do work but I don’t know if I did something wrong but randomly they just turn to this one teal color so I have to keep it on that. That’s been happening from the day that I put them up. And the remote for it doesn’t work

I just got this product the other day and I installed it. The lights are bright and colorful and I love it very much. LEDBLE gives you many options for colors and what patterns you want. Butttt, the music and microphone part definitely needs some updating. The music part of LEDBLE only connects to certain apple music songs. I think it definitely needs to be able to connect to any music apps for a better experience. I’ve also have tried the microphone a couple of times to try to get the music that my friend was playing out of the speakers to have the lights go with the beat. It worked once but once I tried again, it didn’t work:(

The microphone and blue tooth options work great! But I’ve tried to sync my music time and time again turning off I cloud services and pressing sync to sync my laptop and phone but when I re-open LEDBLE it just doesn’t show up. It’s frustrating honestly so please tell me how to fix this.

Like everyone else who uses LEDBLE, you will soon learn that you probably can’t pair your phone to your new lights. Here is the trick. Unplug the lights from the power source. Close the Led Ble app. Turn off the Bluetooth. Open the Led Ble app. Turn on your Bluetooth, plug in the lights. Hit scan on LEDBLE and it should connect. Sometimes when it disconnects you just unplug the Led light and plug them back in. LEDBLE will recognize your phone and pair.
LEDBLE has one major problem. Poorly written or non-existing instructions. Also you shouldn’t have to unplug the Led lights and plug them back in, in order to pair to your phone. Other than that, LEDBLE works great when it works. It’s pretty fun. They need to just work out a few kinks and get some instructions.

every thing on LEDBLE is great. EXCEPT for the fact that there are only 7 SONGS to choose from. the ability to have the lights sync with the beat of the music was the most exciting part & i cannot even do that. its supposedly gives “instructions” to add music but they are unclear & i’ve tried to read them over & over & follow the steps but nothing is working.

Everything works fine with the connection of my phone and the lights. The only thing that I have a problem with is the music and the lights collaboration only working when you play the song from iTunes. I believe it should be compatible with any music sight you choose to spend your money on especially if it's still an Apple product.

I have read all the previous reviews and I’m pretty anul when it comes to figuring things out but I had no issues as of yet! I do, however, have it hooked up to a car battery in my garage, so there’s that, 😆. Hopefully when I eventually install it on my truck, it will still function just as well! I’m so 80’s, I have LED lights EVERYWHERE! 👍🏻🙌🏻 Now to have colored ones that change even with music, what more can a girl ask for?

If you could add the rhythm feature back to LEDBLE that would be great it has a speed feature now that you updated it and it doesn’t change colors based on the music anymore

I use LEDBLE with a cheap China LED controller on my motorcycle. I can’t believe all the great functions it offers. Sure, it has its shortcomings, but what more do you expect for that price? I find it suits my needs very well.

Truly 4 stars for the fact that the left and right become un-synced in music mode but that could be the fact that I have a box running each side individually.
Cant use purchased music. Otherwise no complaints.
Gave 5 stars because I don’t believe this deserves a 2 star rating

I got my lights installed and connected my phone to them without a problem. They are bright and beautiful. The microphone works great but the music however needs work. I have Apple Music and was still unable to sync my music. If I were able to use every function I paid for I would rate this 5 stars.
