The entire development team for this “app” should be fired and then sued. I don’t even know where to begin with the broken and ugly areas of this dysfunctional piece of trash. Do I begin at the fact that when I open the app it suggests that I download the app? Do I start with delivering the message that 2007 called and wants its app back? Do I start by pointing out that this “application” is nothing more than a crappy web browser? Do I begin with its broken API and authentication problems? I can’t even create an account much less login or pay for a rental bike. My friend had to ride on the back of one of the bikes with me because of how broken this so called “app” is. I’m surprised, given Apple’s standards of quality for what is allowed in the App Store, that this app even passed their QA approval process. Imagine being a company, and designing an app you so obviously have never used yourselves. Sad, just sad.

Customer service standard is cheap.
Indego is a miser. Will suspend your account for as little as a penny with no warning. Very inconvenient when your at the rack just about to start your work commute. Also, they won’t take my debit card for my transit spending account, issued by my employer. It works perfectly fine for Septa and NJT. Was told it only take cards issued by banks. Just a sneaky form of discrimination and exclusion. Customer service rep condescendingly kept repeating we only take cards fdic insured. They have more respect if it wasn’t a monopoly. I’ll still use as it’s the only city commuter bike service.

I subscribed for a month because my gf wanted to use their service. The company ended up continue to charge my card monthly for services that I never used. The company’s practice is somewhat unethical considering that I never received any email receipt from them suggesting that I was still paying for their monthly subscription. I just downloaded the app trying to cancel my subscription. What’s worse is I cannot find a way to remove my credit card information from the app after cancelling my subscription. Be careful when signing up for this service.
