this app is awesome! I can say that wholeheartedly because I love story games that allow you to simulate specific this app and thus change the results of your story. I was an original fan of both Surviving High School and High School Story, So when I first saw this app’ released announcement, I was so excited. It’s been, I believe, two years since I stopped playing this game and just continued about a week ago. I started to play again and I’m happy I did since the stories make me smile at every turn that comes about in the plot. Well, up until the this app where diamonds come in.

I don’t spend money on apps mostly because I don’t have any of it to spend on small things. I can understand the keys and the time to get more for them but it’s absolutely ridiculous how you only get one diamond after playing a story. The minimum amount of diamonds you need for a specific choice is (to my knowledge of the few stories I’ve played) 12 diamonds. Even then, I’m being run dry. I will admit that I splurged out of anger and bought a bundle of diamonds, but it’s also extremely overcharged as compared to the average roleplaying app in similarity to this app.

I just kind of wish someone in Pixelberry would work to change the way diamonds could be given (for example: a certain amount of diamonds for logging in per day, do this task and get diamonds, get more diamonds for completing the chapter or depending on specific this app, etc.).

I’ve played this app for about 2 years and it’s been one of my favorite games so far. The stories are very interesting and some books surprise me. My favorite so far is the Royal Romance and it’s a great book but the new update leaves more to be desired. At first I seems thrilled that new books are being added but then I saw that I need to pay money I order to play the stories. The new VIP books that you guys have added seem very very interesting but it’s a shame that in order to play them you have to be a VIP. Let’s be honest not everyone has the money to pay the price and quite frankly it seems a bit unfair to the people who want to play the new books. Another thing we need more interesting stories that everyone has access too. On another note some of these books are very very detailed in some scenarios and younger kids need to be aware of that. I feel like this app should rated 17+ instead of 12+ because it explains many things throughly. It’s a great game over all but some things need to change. Also it seems very ridiculous that I need to pay a ridiculous amount of diamonds in my “this app” and I wish I were to see the whole book plays out and not worry about the diamonds. 20 diamonds seem like a lot to pay when the choice is one like 5 sentences long. I applaud the daily diamonds but they really need to lower the amount of diamonds it takes to make a choice.

i love this game and i appreciate the new updates that your guys did and i always appreciate when you guys add new content. the only thing i recommend is giving us 5 keys instead of only 2 keys. that would make me want to play more. it takes forever waiting for the keys. also if you invite facebook friends you should get keys for that and you should be able to gift your facebook friends keys just like a-lot of the other games in Choices store. my next suggestion is being able to go back and reread old chapters you've already done in case you haven't played in a long time and you have forgot whats going on. also you need to make the premium this app less expensive. i mean it does takes us forever to get enough diamonds to make one premium choice. you guys need to add a choice in settings that allows us to delete all progress and start over as if we've never played before. also you guys can add achievements and give us diamonds for completing each achievement. also please add offers that we can complete to receive free diamonds. also you need to make it so that if we purchase any amount of diamonds that we will remove ads forever. the final thing i suggest is offering a subscription service that will make us a VIP members and we will have content to VIP episode and also VIP members will receive daily diamonds. there is alot of things you can add to this game to make it better such as daily log in bonuses.

Hey guys! I love this game SO MUCH! Like, these are the things that make me throw my phone when I get a cliffhanger... ANYWAY! So, I keep playing (loving Hero, by the way) and I realize: if you want to really experience half the stuff, you have to pay diamonds. Now, premium currency is something I've always loved. It helps give the creators money. But the diamond system in this game... it just doesn't make sense. Like, I'm playing Hero ~(SPOILER ALERT)~ and I'm at the point where you can customize the clock tower base, and it costs 30 diamonds to make it awesome. Now, I wouldn't mind if the system was that you can get a max of like 15 diamonds a day. And that's IF you play a new story every time, and you play 24 hours straight. So, since I don't have that kind of time, I have to pause my adventures for a few weeks until I can make enough to buy it. Same happened with Endless Summer ~(ALSO SPOILER ALERT)~ where at the end you get the files to hack the password. So I had to play the first two books of The Freshman, which took me a month, and then, not ten minutes later, in Crown and Flame ~(YOU KNOW THE DRILL)~ "Spend 12 diamonds to save the Prince." So, either make diamonds easier to get (my idea is a HUGE diamond bonus at the end of a book, like ten diamonds or so) or make the premium this app cheaper. I'll fix my rating afterwards.

I’m really loving this game, and barely play anything else anymore. Lots of people talk about the diamonds and how few you get- and it’s true; something to be aware of before you download Choices. In the first book I played, I gave in and bought some diamonds, but quickly learned that diamonds disappear so fast that purchasing them is just a fast train into debt. Each chapter has around 2-3 different times you can use diamonds for a choice, each requiring between 15-30 diamonds. Generally you get 5 diamonds/day as a gift, and 3/new chapter if an ad plays (sometimes ads don’t play, then you just get 2). If you can get 4 new chapters in a day, you can get maybe 17 diamonds. So, you can see how diamonds disappear incredibly fast. Instead I now try to play some books that I’m not as interested in, and use no diamonds at all but save my diamonds up to play a slower game that I can savor and use my diamonds more freely.
My only genuine complaint about the diamond this app is when you have to pay diamonds to help other people form relationships, and when you don’t they don’t end up together. It kind of feels like a low blow. It’s hard to spend precious diamonds on things that don’t advanced your own characters story, but it also feels cruel to the other people. When those moments come up I just have to apologize to the characters and tell them it’s not personal, lol!

I love the game and it’s probably my favorite game because of this app. The keys make sense and I can wait to unlock new chapters even if I would rather just be able to play for as long as I want because of how much I love it. But the diamonds are just annoying. The most you can get at once is two, yet even the lowest price for a choice that costs diamonds is like 16! And you can’t pick the this app that you want because of it. I play stories sometimes because of a certain thing that might happen, then I discover that I can’t even do those things because I need more diamonds. Then to get more diamonds you have to read more chapters, yet you only get two keys at a time. I’ve had to delete the game multiple times because of the situations with the diamonds. If you could just get rid of them and let us pick whatever this app we want without any diamonds, I’d be much happier and would happily give it a five star rating. Besides the diamond, the game is great, the keys are a little annoying. Maybe not if there was a shorter wait time or more keys to have at once though. But anyway, I’d love if you updated the game to have no diamonds and all this app free. I am addicted to the game and would be even more if you did this. Thank you for getting to the end of my super long rant, but that’s just my opinion and I’m sure several other people’s opinion. Everything else is great though.

Should be able to make a lot of diamonds and keys faster. They game is okay but when you have diamonds it’s so much better. However, if we only accumulate 3 diamonds after a chapter the game isn’t fun. Especially in bloodbound, having diamonds would’ve made this story so much better. It isn’t fair that you guys make all the cute outfits and most this app people want to pick cost hella diamonds. You guys should either lower all the cost of stuff (paying with diamonds) or offer more was to get a lot of diamonds. Because 3 a chapter isn’t fun. You can barely do anything. This is why I deleted the “episodes” game, everything you’d want to say, wear, or do cost 20+ diamonds. I get you guys want to make money from the game as well however, just like I deleted the other game because of the unfair amount of diamonds they offer compared to how much it cost to do the things you want to do. People are going to start to do the same. It’s unfair, I love you guys books especially bloodbound but it was only fun because I had diamonds. Please lower the price of things paid with diamonds or offer more chances to get a lot of diamonds at a time. As much as you guys ask to pay with diamonds is the same amount you guys should be letting us accumulate them. I really hope you guys fix this because I really do love playing these books. It’s very relaxing and a way to get out of my little world.

The game itself is really amazing. The books are intriguing and the interface is super easy to use which is always nice. Some things that could be better is the diamonds/this app. I know that you get a diamond after playing each chapter which is nice and you even get the option to watch an ad for an additional diamond but you should be able to watch more ads for diamonds. Most people that own these types of apps are usually low on whatever method they use for the optional this app within the book. It would be nice if there was some other way to earn diamonds. It would really make the experience better in my opinion. One other thing I don’t particularly like is the key waiting time. The fact that I have to wait three hours for one key is kinda ridiculous. It takes six hours for the max amount of keys (which is two) to replenish. It really takes away from the experience. Sometimes I forget about the game entirely and don’t come back for days, even weeks because I just forget. Sure the notifications help but I just wish there were some other way to get keys. One idea is like the diamonds where you can watch an ad or two for another key. It would get me playing the game more and just enjoy Choices more without forgetting Choices or the story. Otherwise the game is fantastic. I would definitely recommend this to my friends that like these sorts of games.

this app has, by far, the best story telling and art for a Visual novel app out there, but it’s suffering severely in the lack of diamond earning. I put it down for months out of frustration for how much it cost to get through a single chapter. You have to spend weeks of time playing unrelated stories, that you also can’t really enjoy or don’t have interest in, just to earn enough diamonds mid chapter of your favorite story. You can’t even replay old stories to earn diamonds? So even if you blitz through a book to earn diamonds so you can go back and experience the diamond this app, you waste a ton of time and keys because you can’t earn diamonds replaying the book. An entire book doesn’t even cover the cost of the majority of a SINGLE diamond choice! At this rate, we will have to go through EVERY story released, using no diamonds, just to finish a favorite book and get the various scenes.

I’d suggest holiday diamond earning bonuses or sales. I’ve seen a daily “wheel spin” or “loot box” suggestion that could be great too. Something to incentivize coming back to Choices every day, or splurging on a sale, and not just to scroll carelessly through a story that doesn’t interest you just to collect a couple diamonds per day.

I love the stories, I just hate how incredibly pricy and irregular the diamond costs are. 30 diamonds for an early hangout scene (Dean in RoE) but 17 or so for an actual romance scene? I don’t want to talk about the cockroach situation.

WAYYY better than Episode, they need to take notes here lol. The stories and the visuals are great, it really immerses you into the story. It’s not just a hetero relationship sort of status, you can like both genders or one, you can customize your character (to some extent with certain stories) so that’s a treat as well. I only wish that when we customize a character that our characters family will be the same race as well, like for instance I’m black and make all my characters black but then the parents or siblings will be white and little things like that tend to shake me off from the story just a bit.

Another thing is that I wish that when you choose a premium choice that the rest of the story falls in line with it. For instance on Book 1 Chapter 2 of Blood Bound when you choose to go with Adrian to see Priya, there’s that whole scene when things get intense (don’t want to spoil) and then when the two leave the MC is like “Omg I can’t believe I got to see her show/see Priya!” And it’s so offbeat based on what happened previously, you can obviously tell it’s what happens if you don’t pick the premium choice, so I wish that the this app we make actually create an impact, instead of them feeling like separate things altogether or insignificant.

I love this game! It’s super addicting but the only thing that bothers me is the diamonds. Yes I understand that diamonds can and SHOULD get you clothes but I just don’t like that sometimes you have to use diamonds for your this app. Sure you get a bonus part and stuff like that but it’s like- in reality I would never pay someone to do something (besides HAVING to pay like at a carnival, mall, etc).
I love this game because all of the stories make you dig your nails into the couch of wherever your at. The stories always have the choice if you want romance in your book with your this app or not. They will give you the option if you want to flirt with someone and usually if you do your relationship would change.
The outfits are also amazing. But I think you could lower the price on them a bit because that takes me days of trying to collect 25 diamonds for an outfit that I love. I have played and deleted this game over and over and over again. This game is almost better then Tic Tok. Reason I deleted this game is because of the addiction. It also makes you read which is great especially since kids don’t go to school on the weekends. (Parents) You can read them a book off of it, or have them read it themselves and you can do so many fun things with your child.
So as I said, so many possibilities, amazing game. Good job Pixelberry for creating one of the best games ever. Just please fix the diamonds a bit.

I’m borderline obsessed with these books. I’ve played them all! Every story is different from the next and, being a writer myself, I really appreciate all of the character development. There’s no question that a lot of thought goes into the customizing, the art, the music, and the dialogues. My favorites include The Freshman (makes me feel young again LOL), Royal Romance, and the newer books like Desire & Decorum, as well as Perfect Match. Once you get into it, the characters really come alive and It’s hard to stop playing! I discovered this app about a year ago, and very quickly went through all the stories. I gave them 5 stars because they’ve truly mastered the art of virtual reality and I would absolutely die to work for Pixelberry someday! My only complaints are that I’ve paid more than I can really afford on diamonds, and you have to wait anxiously for new chapters and books. Like someone mentioned in another review, I would much rather spend $10-$20 on Choices at initial download, rather than pay as I go. Or even offering 2-5 diamonds after watching an ad instead of just 1. Heck, I’d even watch more ads if it meant earning more diamonds! Otherwise, this app is brilliant and beautifully done. I’ve laughed, I’ve cried, and I’ve learned a lot about myself through these characters- as cheesy as that sounds. These stories are never dull, and contain a lot of twists and turns. I highly recommend this app over any other competitor apps! Loveee!

Choices is truly amazing. A lot of the story’s are really good and have amazing plots, Lis, twists, and villains. Not to mention their customer service is absolutely amazing. They always reply back in a day or two and sometimes even quicker than that. Earning diamonds in this game is very easy unlike other story games. Even if you aren’t vip you still have the option to earn 3 diamonds after every chapter, there is a daily reward of 4 diamonds for non vip players and you get two extra diamonds for every 3 chapters you complete. You also get 15 diamonds after completing a book. Unlike other story apps I have played, this app gives you the opportunity to replay the chapter at the end of every chapter instead of having to restart the whole book. Another great thing about this app is the variety. They have books about drama, books about being a single mother, horror books, thriller books, romance, mystery books, comedy’s and much more!! this app is also very inclusive and most stories you have the option to choose your gender. You can also choose to date either men or women. Some of this app newer books like blades of light and Shadows, the cursed heart, and foreign affairs even give you the choice to play as a non binary character. Truly, this app is an amazing app and I recommend it to anyone looking for a story game!

this app It’s a wonderful addition to the older app episodes. I think that so far the riders for Choices are extremely talented and it will go really far. One thing that I think that this app can work on is making the this app that require gems more realistic. There are certain things that we shouldn’t have to pay for and I understand that you have to make a profit, but the people that use Choices also have to pay bills. Choices is extremely amazing and I absolutely love it.?There are so many things for so many people, and there’s always something that you can do. If you like to scream your head off there are stories for that. If you like to laugh there are stories for that. If you want to fall in love with the characters there are stories for that. If you want to go on an adventure there are stories for that. So again there’s something for everyone. One thing that I want to talk about is the story Blood Bound. this app writers NEED to have a part two because that is my favorite one and there is yet to be an update while there are new stories being written and other stories getting updated I think that Blood Bound should get updated as well. this app will have you hooked until the end. The stories are amazing, the characters are amazing and have very diverse personalities. I personally think that anyone who tries Choices will fall in love immediately.

Honestly the people who complain about not being able to collect gems fast enough clearly haven’t played Episode. If you want to talk about money-hungry, they literally don’t start you off with any gems, and give you hardly any rewards. this app starts you off with butt-loads, and not only that, it has a “gift” system where you can play plenty of ads, and also get rewarded just for logging onto Choices daily. Using this system I feel I have gotten plenty of in-game currency for free, and-I must add-their this app are far cheaper than anything on Episode or similar apps. Seriously, 20 gems for one choice is a steal with these games.
I also like the stories a lot better. I feel like Episode (wow this really turned into an Episode rant sorry) is largely geared towards romance, which simply isn’t my thing. this app, in my humble opinion, has a far better selection of sci-fi, fantasy, and thriller stuff to keep you interested.
My one point of contention, and this is minor, is that if I am comparing the two apps, Episode does have the better graphics. The characters on this app range from looking decent to looking…not great. This is the one thing I would request the company to work on.
But of course, the characters looking a little weird sometimes is a small price to pay for an overall good app that isn’t money-hungry like all the rest.

I don’t even remember when I started playing this app but I know forsure that I have been here when they only had less than ten books. Of all of the story games I’ve played, this app has to be my favorite one. The stories are so well-written and compelling. I’m so invested in most of them. I’ve had my gasping/jaw dropper moments during a twist, my laughs, my cheers for a prevailing character, or occasionally even a curse towards the antagonist(s). Personal favorites: Perfect Match (genius concept!!!), The Junior (SPECIFICALLY this one for the ATM storyline), the Bloodbound series, the It Lives anthology, and Love Hacks (underrated series). Notable mention: Endless Summer’s artwork was BEAUTIFUL. I tell my friends about the stories sometimes, they’re all so good! I feel like I’m reading visual novels more than just playing a game. The artwork and soundtracks have definitely also progressed a lot. I love that they have so much diversity when it comes to sexuality and ethnicity! I hope future updates will allow for different body types as well. For a while I was using the option to buy diamonds and get 120 initially and earn 10 more a day for, I think 40 days? I didn’t realize that the option disappeared when you stopped renewing it. I’d love for that deal, or for other similar deals, to always be available! Anyways, mad respect for Pixelberry. I really hope they turn some of these stories (*cough* Perfect Match) into feature films one day!

Updated review!!! A couple months ago I wrote the review below, and I mentioned how there’s not much variety of hair color and eye colors for what I look like ( a white girl with hazel eyes and long dark curly hair) because they always make the white girl option some mid girl with blue eyes and only blonde straight textured hair. They did respond to my review so I don’t know if it truly was ME but as of recent stories my player customization is sooo much more inclusive. I am so happy and I now pay for the premium and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you this app for hearing me. I still stand by what I said months ago, this app is hands down the best choice based mobile game out there. The stories, writing, graphics, literally every detail is so enjoyable. I love this game and idc that I’m an adult I’ll proudly play in public (jk only in private) this app is hands down the BEST out of all the story games. I just recently deleted Choices sadly because I was spending so much money on it. $15 a month! I wish there was a way that diamonds didn’t need to be used. My only other complaint is that I wish the customization of mine and my love interests character could be better. I want to look like myself which for whatever reason white brunettes are non existent. Also the men options are always a hit or miss. On the other hand the stories are so well done, creative, just perfect.

this app, without a doubt, is the best game I have ever played. I have had it for almost a year and still look forward to new chapter being released, and reread my favorite stories. this app’s books have taught me so much about family, relationships, love, and the importance of making a choice. Our this app truly do define us, which I think is the whole message of the game if you could boil it down. Have you ever wanted to attend a school of magic? Find love in Jane Austen’s England? Captain a star ship? Seek vengeance in Ancient Rome? Become a superhero? Marry a king? Fight for your crown? Or just try to survive high school? There is a book out there for everyone, I promise. However, If you only play one book series, please play Endless Summer. Inspired by the tv show Lost, this book is a tear jerking, heart string pulling, hair raising, mind bending beautiful adventure that I cherished every minute of and cannot wait to re read. Anyway, do yourself a favor and get this game. It sure changed my life. Thank you Pixelberry.

p.s. Many people complain about the diamonds and yeah, I sometimes wish there were less this app that require diamonds each chapter (Across the Void is notoriously bad at this) but there are plenty of games that only have one or two diamond this app per chapter, and you certainly don’t have to spend any diamonds to enjoy each book. I have never spent any real money on this game which has not hindered or lessened my game experience in any way.

I really love this app, and it’s definitely the best storytelling app out there. I even don’t have too much issues getting diamonds, since they have daily rewards and you can just play stories you’re not as interested in to build up your stash, although it can still be annoying. I also really appreciate the variety in genres, namely the more action-adventure and fantasy stories with their own interesting mechanics. My favorite stories are the ones that go a step further with the art style, like Hero and Endless Summer. I find the more cartoony art styles to be so beautiful and refreshing, and I’d love to see more that! (I am begging 🙏) I find the added diversity in art elevates the ranged catalogue, and gives various stories more of a unique identity. It’s also great to see the stories become even more lgbtq+ accommodating, stories featuring trans characters, even letting you play as a non-binary character yourself in the newer stories. I do wish some of the models had more androgynous options, however (for example if I play as non-binary with a male body type I still have to look super masculine with broad shoulders and only short hair options). I remember downloading this app for the first time right at its start, when it only had 3 stories, and seeing it grow and develop has actually been super cool. I’m eager to see what new heights are reached.

I am going to get straight to the point. This is a great game, with very good storylines and graphics, but there are a lot of things in this game that takes out a lot of the fun. First, the keys. The keys are actually pretty all right, but two hours for one single key? Maybe one key every hour, or two keys for every two hours. The second reason is the diamonds. I know almost everybody complains about this, but it's true. The diamond count is way too slow and the price for diamonds is pretty high. It took me about a month to get me a least 50 diamonds, and that's if I played two stories twice a day. Please make the diamond count maybe two every story, a way to get premium this app, which would take every three days for a 15 premium choice. Which leads me to my final thing, the premium this app. The premium this app have a very large effect on the story, especially Endless Summer. I wanted a LI to propose, but even though I did every single thing that would give me a like from my LI, we were still on a "LI is crazy about you", and yeah, I didn't get that. Which is why I came here. I desperately hope that you can read my concerns, and change some things, even if it is just a little bit. I would be more than happy to give this five stars, but for now, I hope you address these thoughts. Thank you!
