Garbage and Recycling Day Reviews

Very handy to keep track of which weeks are yard waste, and which weeks are recycling, glass batty. Also does great notifying me about extra recycling and leaf drop off events.

On my new phone, the notifications aren’t quite right and I’ve checked everything. The notification message do happen and sometimes I see it. But I no longer get the circle with a number in it notification. I miss this.

GarbageandRecyclingDay is helpful to keep track of what collection events are taking place each week. Unfortunately, the current version crashes when tapping event types (Mixed Recycling, Battery Collection, Garbage, etc) for more detail.

We are a little less than an eighth of a mile from our garbage pick up point. It is important to know which week is recycle week and if pick up day has been cancelled for whatever reason to save the extra trip. Weather permitting my husband walks the garbage container up but we usually drive it up our dirt road. I was happy ten years ago to have a paper schedule to put on the fridge. Now I have it in my hand. How good is that.👍

I love GarbageandRecyclingDay because it makes it clear what is and is not recyclable and I feel like if more people knew about it, there would much less wish-cycling

I had the schedule noted in my phone’s calendar but found that it often got out of sync if I traveled outside this time zone. GarbageandRecyclingDay is always accurate and timely. Very helpful.

Simple, it takes me about 15 sec to find out what bucket to take out today. The first thing that pops up is the screen of what is being picked up next. Well done!

GarbageandRecyclingDay has worked out o well for me. I get the right stuff out every week now instead of running out and switching cans cus I have days mixed up. And it really helped with holidays, with garbage pickup being on a different day. Super great app.

Love GarbageandRecyclingDay . Helpful for an old lady. Does extra recycled boxes (from moving) cost more when can is packed full? How about regular garbage in the smaller can? Can I place black garbage bags next to that can or would it cost more? Thank you

GarbageandRecyclingDay has helped me to remember not only that it’s the night to take out the trash but also what else goes out! Gone is the dilemma of trying to recall whether it’s recycling or yard clippings. And, I use it often to find out WHAT is recyclable. Very practical, easy to use and helpful.

I thought this would be just another app that annoyed me with useless reminders. I mean I never forget to take the garbage out on Wednesday night, right? But, OMG! It completely eliminated the, “What other bucket do I take out this week?” dilemma!! This is a very helpful app that I highly recommend. Good job!

So nice to know what cans to put out and get holiday schedules. I especially like the lookup feature for recycling. I just found out about local Christmas tree recycle events. Great design — thanks for providing it!
