Free download, immediate purchase scam

Just once I'd love one of these apps that mention in-app purchases that are really just a full-blown you need to buy it... PERIOD... be honest with us... just once.

This, like so many, will lead you to believe you can download it and maybe try it out or at the very least a pared down version with a few functions, just so you could poke it with a stick, maybe showing you what you could have just pay-walled off unless you upgraded or subscribed (god, who else is sick of the subscription models? Everybody I bet), but no.

You download this and you can't even click around, everything is a locked behind a "pay up, chump" screen, that's the only way to get an actual sense of using DoneHappyProductivity is to pay first.

I wouldn't even be as offended if they just say up front it's $6 a month or $60 a year, but it's just the good ol' bait and switch where you think you have access to at least something or can poke around but you can't.

Great app, except…

I like the simplicity and almost everything that I’m looking for, for free, but we really need an update. There are too many bugs in it, can’t completely delete a task that I accidentally started the focus timer, and then that task disappears…can’t add attachments, and no search option. After I spent 4 hours entering and organizing tasks, the bugs started to happen, the most annoying is seeing double of the same task even though I’ve deleted over and over again😡

Good, but buggy

I’ve been using this for maybe six months now so here are my thoughts. I love the features included, and in that regard it’s one of my favorite to do list apps I’ve ever used. But it does have a couple recurring and critical bugs. For one, shortly after I open DoneHappyProductivity , it will freeze for several seconds. Not the end of the world, but pretty annoying. Also, after a while a couple of my goals have become unusable because whenever I click to open them, DoneHappyProductivity freezes and then crashes to iOS. Tasks can still be added and recurring tasks still work, but I can’t view the list. If you put a lot of tasks into your to do list and plan on using it for a long time, I don’t know if this is the one for you.

It’s a Great App with Minor Flaws

I’ve been using DoneHappyProductivity for the past week and have been enjoying it. I like the “goals” feature immensely, as it helps separate tasks that are part of my personal life versus work life. Sadly, though, like all apps, this one has its flaws. One particular flaw that’s annoying and confusing is that goals and events are two independent entities; goals do not disappear, and all repeatable tasks stick to them, but DoneHappyProductivity itself marks goals as events. This is an issue for two reasons:

1) Whenever you move onto another day, some tasks will not carry over; some of them don’t even repeat as you would like.

2) Regular tasks and eventful tasks are still the same, but goals always equal events, so naturally, they take priority than regular ones do not.

My main concern is that these essentially forces to you male regular tasks for a single day, as some tasks will never carry over to other days if you want them to repeat, disheartening. I would have liked it if I could have tasks repeat endlessly until I say otherwise, but they do not work. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but I feel like it’s a feature issue than a bug because it will carry over some tasks, but not all. Anyway, if I figure something out, I’ll retract this review and give it five stars, but until then, it’s four stars for this tiny inconvenience.

All My To-Do Needs In One

I’ve been searching for a To-Do app that would allow me to keep all my projects, daily to-do lists, & habits in one place. Done meets all of my needs. I like the layout and ease of use. The only feature missing is the ability to create due dates for individual sub-tasks within a larger project. If I know I’m going to have an open block of time on a particular day, I’d like to have the ability to schedule some of those smaller tasks within a larger project to complete on that given day. I’m hoping you might add this in a future update. Keep up the good work.

Works great and doesn't push the paying version!

I've been trying to get into better habits and DoneHappyProductivity has been great! You can make a big goal for the week and then make "sub-goals" on how you will achieve it. For example, if a goal was to workout more the sub goals would be "leg day, cardio, etc" and you add it to your to do list and check it off everyday. The only problem would be with a reoccurring goal that is the same everyday because you would need to make 7 of those sub goals in order to check them off everyday. For example, if your big goal was to read before bed every night, you would need to make 7 "sub goals" to read so that you can add it to your list everyday. Not a huge problem, just takes a lil extra time to get used to. I hope that makes sense. I haven't figured out a way for it to send reminders, but if there is a way then this would be the PERFECT app!

Not just another to do list

I enjoy Done! because DoneHappyProductivity is oriented toward completing a goal. It's not just another long checklist. The way it's designed facilitates the Pomodoro technique and helps you focus on completing the highest priority items. You can also check to see how long it took you which is great for estimating tasks.

Finally!

I’ve spent WEEKS looking for a good habit tracker, schedule planner, and to do list hybrid. I’ve used several apps before such as Habit Tracker and Microsoft To-Do, but I eventually phased out of them and was in search of a better app more suitable to my needs. I finally found DoneHappyProductivity, and I could not be any happier. It is exactly what I needed and then some. Thank you so much!

Seriously Best Product Out There!!!!

No joke - I have been searching for an app like this for years and FINALLY its here. DoneHappyProductivity provides me a clean way to track goals, work projects, personal habits and other items. Has helped me get organized and is a clean and easy app to use. Referring this to my whole network.

Great but would love a detailed calendar

Tried so many productivity apps and this finally has everything I’ve ever wanted. It also has helpful analytics and stats which help me see when I’m doing the most or how I’m spending my time. The one thing I wish it would have is a more detailed calendar view with maybe hour marks or the ability to see a full monthly calendar.
Love it!

Amazing

I love DoneHappyProductivity. It’s perfect for people like me who need to compartmentalize and visualize tasks and goals in order to be motivated to get them done.

On my wishlist for DoneHappyProductivity would be: (1) a calendar view. (2) the option to have completed tasks move down in into a collapsible list below so my to-do list can feel less cluttered. (3) Subtasks!

I love the simplicity of DoneHappyProductivity and I plan to keep using it for a long time!

All in one User Friendly App

I downloaded & tested a lot of schedule/list apps & this Oneida the best!

It takes 2 minutes to figure out. Very well designed & good looking. I can open it up & immediately get a look at my lists. It integrates with other scheduling apps if you choose & is customizable.

So easy to quickly add something before you forget. I’m much more organized. Highly recommend you try it out

I love this app

I’ve tried mannnyy and i mean MANY productivity apps and honestly this one is the best! I don’t really like overly crowded apps where there is so many stuff that it just ruins the design and the flow of it. Done! Is in the perfect golden middle!!! It’s not so simple where it doesn’t have functions I might want to use but it’s no so crowded to the point of overwhelming me !!! I definitely give DoneHappyProductivity 5 stars!☆

Wow?

Usually 5 stars seems unnecessary cuz no app is perfect but I really like DoneHappyProductivity because it actually works for me. The layout is simple and easy to use, so I can quickly set up my daily habits and tasks, and even organize them by urgency. It’s been really helpful for staying on track because the organization actually is so pleasing to me and this may sound sad but it’s actually kinda fun to check off the list for the day, see how much I can get done. In like 2 or 3 weeks it helped me remember things I would normally forget, like once I woke up early and did the dishes but i forgot to brush my teeth. Idk why but my brain gets like super overloaded and i can only focus on a few things at a time. But the way it’s organized actually satisfies & helps my brain a lot!!
(Also the fact I can go back and review what I did yesterday is really nice!!)

Eva

For me DoneHappyProductivity helps me be clean and healthy I recommend DoneHappyProductivity to people that need to clean up and just need to be healthier DoneHappyProductivity gives you a chance to be a better you and that means cleaning up keeping yourself healthy and active making sure you’re on time and on schedule knowing what you need to do and if you’re a person that does chores if that is what you do on a daily basis you can track your chores on DoneHappyProductivity soon you will get the hang of your schedule and BE A BETTER YOU😊

Great range from simple to scheduled

Finally! A great app for projects. Done app is extremely well-designed visually and functionally - enjoyable to look at, not overwhelming at all to set-up or use, no clutter, streamlined. Impressive, the first one of these I will actually use. I've tried many many over the years. Just right, it can do simple projects to ones with details - notes and reminders options for each task. Not complex at all, no learning curve. I set up 4 projects with tasks in a couple of minutes. Generally, these protect apps that allow for enough details and scheduling are exhausting just to set-up.

The best “To do list” app in the market

I searched and tried nearly every “to do list” app for organizing my daily tasks and DoneHappyProductivity is really amazing and was exactly what I needed! I used its first version for nearly six months and was great, the second version looks a lot better and they added a habit tracy part which is amazing!

The only problem that I have with it which still remains in the second version is that sometimes when I delete a task it comes back when I open DoneHappyProductivity again! So I can’t delete that task! I think this can be solved easily with an update!

Thank you so much

I love this app ❤️

As I got older(18) and started to get into more advance classes keeping up with everything has become tricky. My mom kept telling me I need some way to keep up with everything I’m doing and DoneHappyProductivity is exactly what I needed. It is easy to understand, it sends me reminders and it keeps up with more than just my school work; but my personal life as well. So far there are no subscriptions so I’m free to put how ever many task and goals I need to get done in a day on DoneHappyProductivity, without worrying about paying. I love DoneHappyProductivity so much, and yes I tried the other done app and I like this one a lot more!

Finally!

I haven’t written a review for an app in ages, but DoneHappyProductivity deserves it. My favorite calendar and todo list apps both stopped being supported years ago and I’ve been on the lookout for replacements ever since…I’ve tried many, many, many apps. Usually the apps have interfaces that aren’t intuitive or have too many ads to be usable.

I’ve finally found an app I love! I’ve been using DoneHappyProductivity for two days and it’s already made a difference for me. I do wish there were a widget for DoneHappyProductivity so that I could put it on my home page too.

Finding DoneHappyProductivity was definitely a bright spot in my week. (As a note, I had thought this was one of the apps that I needed to pay a hefty annual subscription fee and I was ready to do it. It’s not! I’m amazed.)

Great app!

As a student I absolutely love DoneHappyProductivity. It makes organizing tasks so easy and gives you a visual for tracking them. I only ask if the developers are possibly looking at creating widgets for DoneHappyProductivity, because I think it’ll really do a lot to make it more interactive. Keep up the good work!
