I have tried many different so called alarm clock apps, but so far, all had a requirement for the app to be in the forefront. If I would set the alarm, and then do a final email check, or end up playing a game in a bout of insomnia, I would have to remember to put the app back in the foreground before going back to sleep. Not with this app. It is demonstrating that one can start playing a radio station from an app running in the background. Makes all the difference.

Coolest. App. Ever.
I cannot speak highly enough about this app. I requested a station they didn’t have and within several hours, they already had it up! You can listen to radio from all over the world. The whole course of your day changes when you start it by listening to NPR news or music from around the world. Without a doubt this app has enhanced my life.

Great features
Large selection of radio stations. I love the night clock feature where you can rotate the phone to landscape orientation and adjust the dim large numbers by a swipe.
