Boom Cards Reviews

My students and I love the Boom Cards. They are delightful, but I’m having a problem. I don’t know how it happened, but somehow the FastPin was connected to one of my Zoom sessions. I can’t share my power point presentations on Zoom because a FastLink was connected to Website URL in Share Screen. I have tried and tried to remove the FastPin Website URL and I can’t. It keeps popping back up.

I don’t know what to do. Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling BoomCards? Will I lose all my Boom Cards if I do?

As an SLP, I see many students with a variety of needs. I have found so many wonderful resources to use with my students and the children love the variety! I must say that I have not encountered any of problems mentioned in some other reviews. BoomCards has matured quite a bit in the last 2 years and I would caution against basing any decision about whether or not to try BoomCards on older reviews.

I use boom cards in my classroom and my students love them. They use them on the computer, smart board and iPads. The only problem we ever have is on the iPads. The games will get stuck and have to be completely closed out and start again. I teach kindergarten so I have to do this for them. I happens at least three times a day on each iPad. Please fix this problem.

My son’s kinder class requires this ap. It usually works on his chrome book, but it always freezes on his iPad. It will work for a while, then stop allowing him to move tiles around. It’s frustrating and makes it not user friendly for little kids.

I love using this app in my class because kids love them, I get automatic data collection and kids get instant feedback as they go. I also love creating my own this app - so easy and fun to make. I like them better than Google Docs, etc. plus you can easily assign this app on Google Classroom.

Boom cards have transformed my speech therapy sessions and I have been able to use them during both teletherapy and in-person sessions. The games keep my students engaged and I love how easy it is to plan!

Boom is such a fun and useful app for my students. I can make relevant content for them using the same content and context I use in class. I love that my voice can explain. I only wish there was a way to lengthen the audio file size.

My students and I LOVE boomlearning! It is a must have in our classroom and it is a great way to differentiate learning.
Amazing for distance and in person learning! I highly recommend it!

It’s great, but sometimes the pages won’t load

Such a great way to get the kids to practice their skills and learn new things! I love the variety of decks offered!

If you are BoomCards developer, please note that “Studio” does not work and the layout is not optimized for the new home indicator bar — which currently occludes the bottom tabs.

This is basically just the web site in a wrapper.

I cannot drag and drop decks to custom folders using an iPad Pro and I am unable to get any tech support. I was also unable to schedule a tech support call through the website. I am happy to change my review if this can get resolved.

Love the website but app isn’t giving an option to sign in using google, only Facebook sign in.

Wouldn’t open on my iPhone X. Black bars on top and bottom. Nothing else.
