I wish BookBub was more like the website. I love how you can follow authors on the website. The website is so user friendly and BookBub is very limited. I got BookBub and deleted and re downloaded it but now I rely why I got rid of it. Also I wish it worked for the kindle app and not just iBook. It could even be link with goodreads some how. This could be such a great app, it has so much potential.

Went through the process of buying a book, even though it was going to be in iBooks (ugh), and then it didn’t actually download - it’s nowhere on my phone!!

You only get one chance at a first impression, and BookBub is an epic fail!!

This was a great idea but it’s only useful if you want to read on iBooks. Even though the website will include books on kindle or b&n BookBub does not. Better off using the website. Downloaded and immediately deleted BookBub for that reason.

I find this to be very unfortunate, I really have come to enjoy this app in my years of using it. However I mostly read on my kindle and when I’m not on my kindle I am using the kindle app on my iPhone. BookBub however only allows for the download of iBooks it will not connect you to the kindle book store like the daily or weekly emails would.

I was thrilled that an app was available because it cut down on my emails but BookBub is so severely limited I may switch back to emails. If you are an avid reader using mostly kindle/kindle app or even nook BookBub is not for you. I am hoping that in the future they add support for kindle and other mediums like they do via email. Until then BookBub is not useful for me unless I feel like downloading a free iBooks that I am interested in.

My daughter likes putting books on her list but we have to go to the website to look at the list. BookBub doesn’t do us any good. We will both be deleting it unfortunately

After I bought my new iPad I downloaded this BB app in BookBub Store. I seem to be unable to search for a certain book without having to browse through many books. Why can I review books on BB using my kindle fire and not on my iPad with BookBub. I even contacted help support and it seems you can’t pinpoint what you’re looking for when using BookBub. I deleted BookBub and found the BB website and my profile came up with all my book reviews. Better to use the Website. You get to browse books there too plus a lot more. BookBub lacks in so many ways!

I got this and set up my book preferences. But I’m constantly getting book recommendations for ones I have no interest in. I don’t like murder mysteries or chick lit, I didn’t put them in my preferences, so why am I getting them?

I guess since I don’t use iBooks, I can’t use BookBub for anything really. I just want to be able to use the ap to see what my friends are reading/recommending and to leave reviews...but guess I have to use the website for that. So for me BookBub is useless.

BookBub would get 5 stars if there was functionality to it like there is the website. I want to be able to access and leave reviews but BookBub doesn’t give this option. Please consider updating BookBub for full access!!

You can look at books by category and that’s about all. Don’t expect to:

-download a book to a reader other than iBooks ( could be because I have an iPhone. Apple is possessive that way)
-search for a book in any way shape or form.
-search a favorite author
-connect with or view this app followers or your favorite authors
-access an author account.

If the developers added a search feature BookBub would be one I would keep. As it is, I’m uninstalling 😐.

I loved getting to see what new books were on sale every day but the notifications no longer seem to work. I’ve turned them on and turned them back on, logged out of my account, deleted BookBub and reinstalled, and nothing seems to work.

I was excited to download BookBub, but now I know that I can only download the books to iBooks since. This is quite disappointing since I like to download my ebooks to my kindle. I’ll have to just use the website...

Also, I would’ve liked to be able to search for a book or an author on BookBub .

This was one of my favorite apps, but for the past 4 days it keeps telling me that there is an error on their end and to try back in a few minutes. I tried downloading on another device, but it did the same thing. I can’t even log in to the desktop version. Sad because I got some really amazing deals from BookBub, but it looks like it’s dead.

I downloaded and deleted almost immediately. You need to give an option for searching a specific book. I appreciate the specials you have but o should be able to search for a specific book I want to read. Not have to search thru the whole list to find a book. 🤦‍♀️

I've been using BookBub for about a month now. I like it and have not had any technical issues, but I think it could use some more features. It would be nice if you could see on the main page when deals will expire, a way to categorize the offers available (e.g. Search by "thriller"), and a way to mark which offers you've taken advantage of as I've noticed that they occasionally repeat. I would also like to see a way to mark offers you've looked at already; a "read" feature similar to what email programs offer after you've opened a new message.
Again, I like BookBub , and will continue to use it, but some enhancements would be nice.

The site is ok. A lot different from the website.
Is it possible to have a search box on BookBub . Would like to see if authors and other books in different genres when using BookBub instead of having to go to the website.

I’ve been receiving this app newsletters for awhile now and I was super excited to see that they have an app as well. BookBub doesn’t link or consider kindle ebooks in deals. I’m just going to use the website from now on.

I would like you to add a favorite button on the page where you get the publisher description, you could also add a place where you can get to your favorites. That would be great if you could add that

So far I love BookBub - I have had an account with this site for quite a few years but it would be nice to search by author not just by genre.

BookBub lets me know of the best deals on the books I want to read and none of the ones I don’t. It’s great and it’s new deals everyday so I never run out of books! Amazing app, I plan on using it forever.

How do I edit and update my book lists? I started doing this on the web site, but am on my phone so much I wanted to try and track my books this year. I cannot find my lists or figure out how to edit my lists or update the lists when I am done reading.
