Vlive won’t work if I try to use it with cellular data. I’ve had VLIVEApp since the beginning of June and i’ve never had that sort of issue, but while I was watching the end of Hard Carry 2, it bugged out and stopped working. I tried using someone’s mobile hotspot to use it, and it worked fine. I’ve signed out and signed back in and put the settings the way they were, I reinstalled, and nothing. I’ve also contacted VLive’s help line, but they have not gotten back to me.

Update: VLive started working again, after 4 weeks and 2 emails. But, as I decided to stop using it for a few hours, it stopped working when I tried to use it again. I don’t know if VLIVEApp needs to work on being able to play on cellular data or just needs to completely change, but I know it’s not my device now. Please fix this.

p.s. I’m not going to send another email because it always takes 2+ weeks to get a response, and they never actually help.

i just watched a sf9 vlive and it froze about 30 times. i kept having to leave and reclick the video on their page. it keeps saying to enable “secure connection” but it has been enabled from the moment i downloaded VLIVEApp (which was years ago) and yet it still keeps freezing. i thought it was because i kept clicking the hearts or commenting too much, but it still happens even if i don’t. i have a stable WiFi connection as well, and this doesn’t happen with any other live-streams. this consistently happens with scheduled sf9 live streams, and i have experienced problems since two weeks ago with this issue.

please fix this. i bought fanship through you guys, the least you can do is not have the lives freeze every other minute. thanks

Many people are unhappy with the layout, especially finding where the videos are. The “From Star” is also a little confusing because at first I was like, who’s star??? Having the fanship content over the regular channel content is confusing as well, especially if the fanship content is not regular. Since the main reason people use vlive is to watch videos, making them very visible as soon as someone clicks on a channel makes sense. Also, it’s nice to see a couple of videos at once, instead of the carousel feature. The inconsistent labeling of fanship content as “fanclub” or “special” adds to confusion. There have been many complaints about how the comments show up during live videos. There is a lot of lagging as well. Overall, I think this design has the potential to work if it addressed the main concerns of the users.

My ONLY complaint is I can never open VLIVEApp from the actual icon. If I try to open Vlive from the icon it pulls up the blue screen with the logo and nothing will happen. It will sit on that screen for hours (I know because out of curiosity I tested it one day).

I have to go to my App Store and from my list of downloaded app I have to find Vlive to be able to open it. This is fine because I am still able to access VLIVEApp , but it is quite annoying. It adds like three extra steps just to open VLIVEApp . So if I’m trying to log on quick to catch a live stream in my eyes those seconds matter 😂

I guess there is another small thing, but it seems related. Sometimes VLIVEApp force closes or I find I have to restart it. I feel these are connected. Just general “bugs” that need to be addressed. I have updated several times and I expected them to go away and they haven’t. So here I am leaving a not so good review. Please fix this so I can send the love VLIVEApp deserves!

Okay so I have recently downloaded vlive in the past week and I created an account. But I’ve been having issues with some of the apps features. The first one being that when I go to join(follow) different stars channels and create a profile for communicating in that channel it is saying “an unknown error has occurred”. The second one is when I go to edit my account information it says something along the lines of “account edits cannot be saved due to errors”. This is very frustrating because I even deleted VLIVEApp and reinstalled it again but it just keeps saying the same thing as I previously stated. Vlive please please please fix this because I’m not sure if it’s just me experiencing these issues but it’s taking away from my good experience with VLIVEApp . Otherwise I think VLIVEApp is great besides these issues. Thank you for your time!

I really liked the redesigning you guys did on the visual aspects of it. I also liked that now I can turn my phone on either side and having the tiny heart button on the right corner. I thought that was a really nice change. Maybe in the future do think about user's being able to change the background color as the white is too harsh on the eyes especially at night. I gave this a 3-star because, although i liked most of the changes you guys' made with the visual, VLIVEApp crashes almost always every time I open it. And I know its not because of my wifi connectivity because VLIVEApp ran well on the last update. It also glitches when clicking on certain settings. I had to close VLIVEApp and open it again WHICH caused another ling wait time. Please fix the lagging problem, glitching, and loading better.

I love VLIVEApp because i get to watch videos of all the groups i love , whether they are live videos or shows or specials. The one main issue i have with vlive is the HORRIBLE pause button. If i want to pause the video it takes me about 10 tries because of how small it is and it’s in the corner so i end up not tapping it and have to keep retrying. It’s annoying especially if i have to pause the video to respond to a text or because i need to leave VLIVEApp . A bigger pause button or perhaps a button that appears in the middle would be sooo much more useful. Another issue i have is that with the new update , i can no longer bring down a video to look for more because there is only an x out button. Please fix these two main issues, i’m sure other vlive users feel the same.

Ok VLIVEApp was perfect and great before, but now that it was updated. It’s terrible I don’t know where anything is. Like the other day I was watching a TOO vlive and it somehow kicked me out. Then I couldn’t get back to the video, and it was live. So I’m over trying to find how to get to the videos and I found it luckily after 5 minutes of searching. But I don’t know how I did, so please make it easier to find the videos on the channels. I’m about to go watch a tutorial or something cause I still don’t know. Also I saw another review about an alarm for when your favs go live, and honestly that would be very nice because us international fans are usually doing something like sleeping or working. Cause they all go live when I’m sleeping and that’s not fun 😕

I absolutely hate this new update. You have to swipe through every video to get to the video you want to watch. Videos are “displayed” above the fan posts, but you don’t have the infinite scroll like the previous update. Fan posts are not needed and should not be the main page of the artist page. The videos are what people download VLIVEApp for and should be the first thing people see when going to the artist fan page. It should not take me 10 minutes to find the videos and then finally see them at the top of the page and mistaking them for an ad. If I don’t know what a title of a video is called, how would I know what to search? Bring back the full page of videos and I would be much happier.

So I really love VLive! I have zero problems with it and I love all the content, but when I save videos to my playlist it’s all in the same one, but it would be nice to keep the channels I watch separate. For example: I could save a bunch of BTS videos, but then TXT will come out with something new and I would put it in the same playlist. So when I want to look for a video later, it feels like I shouldn’t even save them in the first place. If someone loves multiple groups (let’s say five or six) then there wouldn’t be a point in saving anything because we would have so much. My suggestion would be to let us create playlists and keep videos separate.

Overall, I think VLIVEApp is amazing! It’s so much fun to see my favorite idols. VLIVEApp makes the idols closer to their fans, which is great for all parties. The one and only complaint I have about VLIVEApp is the notifications. Since I’m living in America, our time zones are different. Thus, it’s harder to actually see a live. However, I’m usually a night owl that somehow wakes up early. I wish that when receiving notifications, my phone could vibrate and make a sound. If the notification is silent and only pops up on screen, then it makes it harder for me to know when my idol is streaming. In the end, I would check my phone only to realize I missed a live when I was clearly awake. Overall, besides this I love VLIVEApp ! <3

As in the title, us international fans with different time zones often miss the lives because we’re sleeping, working, doing something. So, I’d like to have the option to have an alarm go off when my favs go live. It might sound crazy, but hear me out. I don’t get up early and bts usually go live at 4 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. (in my time zone.) So I usually sleep through them. But, I’ve talked with another friend of mine and we both agree that if we had an alarm we’d wake up to watch them live. Rewatching a live isn’t the same. So please, give us the option to have an alarm go off when they go live. But other than that, I really do enjoy VLIVEApp. I can rewatch whatever I want, and I can play it on my tv. This truly is a good app, but please take my request into consideration.

VLIVEApp is pretty good but is there a way to have the notifications for the fan board but not have them show up in the middle of the screen because it can be quite annoying not being able to move from a screen because the notifications keep popping up. I know that it would be best to remove the notifications but also having them on is the best way to know if there’s a live because sometimes (all the time) the notifications of lives don’t show up and having the fan board notifications help to know what is going on in the board. VLIVEApp is pretty great but I would honestly want for that to be fixed or improved if it can be done. Thanks

I really love VLIVEApp. It allows you to watch any video, play it on a tv, etc. And it basically has any group you can think of. However, lately I haven’t been receiving notifications for any of the lives. And the worst part is I was awake at the time they went live but I wasn’t aware of the fact that they were live. I already have my notifications on and have received them before, but lately, it hasn’t been working anymore. This is really disappointing, as I rarely get to watch lives anymore because of the time difference. I don’t know if it is just a problem on my side, but I hope this is fixed if it is a glitch. I recently updated VLIVEApp but that didn’t seem to fix it. I hope this is fixed. Thank you.😁

Pretty great if your a multi Stan like me. VLIVEApp is great, but there usually aren’t much subtitles on lives.. until a couple weeks after. (Unless it’s Bts lives, there are subs after a couple of days) And there are many spamming bots. I’m here on vlive for mainly Mamamoo and stray kids, because I can use Weverse for bts and txt. I like that there is a schedule for your group/artist.

But overall VLIVEApp is great, not much to say, but if your here for only Bts, maybe check out Weverse because the run episodes are on there, and you could just use Yt for the lives, because if your like me, I’m international so the groups I Stan don’t go live because it’s night time for me when they go live.

But not their fault. 4 stars for VLIVEApp ✨👌🏼

Honestly, this is one if the best kpop related apps I have, it notifies you when there’s going to a a live, but I do have suggestions. They are not problems but suggestions, idk if it’s the fans that do the subtitles but if it’s possible to have subtitles faster, I normally wait a week or 2 for English subtitles, it’s not a problem tho, also idk if I’m being to pressuring, but wouldn’t it be a good idea if there was an option for the idols to go live with fans/viewers. Idk but that seems like a great idea to me. Overall I love VLIVEApp so much, there is all I need in it, i really recommend VLIVEApp, and please consider my suggestions❤️❤️🙏

Hi VLIVE. Your app is good. As a new MY I've noticed how pretty and organized Aespa board is. Thank you!! And, it would be so so so amazing if other boards also had the same features, such as "schedule" and rules/notice/news/event/participation on the idols board. It would make VLIVEApp so enjoyable! (Also, we fans could edit the schedule too like we do on other apps, if the idol's staff can't do it.) Maybe it is asking for too much, but it would make VLIVEApp really amazing, if it's too difficult to do it, you could do it with the most subscribed channels first. The board does need a set of rules in my opinion~ Channels with more korean fans than international fans are normal but channels with more international fans are chaotic and crazy things are posted on the fanboard, so rules would be nice. It was a great idea to make rules! Anyways... Thank you for your hardwork always, I love the vlive. Thank you creating VLIVEApp ! And Aespa board looks beautiful, I love it and I'm so happy, thank you ^^ If VLIVE was always like this it would be this best app on the universe!

It not really a problem but it too much tapping and pressing when you want to give heart to your idol on vlive and not get annoyed by it.
I see that if you long press the heart it will grow bigger. 1 tap= 1 heart 1 long press = 10 heart that good but it still a lot of tapping and pressing and it kinda annoying when you really want to just focus on your favorite idol and still give them heart without getting annoyed by the tapping and pressing so I was wondering in next update if vlive can change the tapping and pressing to holding. For example I am watching my favorite idol live and just holding on the hearts so I don’t have to tap or press and I can just hold on the heart. Hold = Heart nonstop Long press = 100 hearts.

VLIVEApp is so convenient to use for kpop fans as we can see what our idols are doing that the time. I really appreciate VLIVEApp because I'm able to see that they're doing, any upcoming events, New albums, and so much more. But there is one problem, that all international fans face. As VLIVEApp is great with all its abilities, one of the most biggest problems are the subtitles. All the fans that live in the US, or basically any other state o country that isn't really familiar with understanding Korean pop, it’s pretty frustrating. If they’re doing a live, I suppose that you can’t add subtitles, but when you post a video, we can’t understand. So plz plz update VLIVEApp with subtitles. It will make communicating with or idols easier.

VLIVEApp is overall pretty nice. However, the thing is, I just wish that there was a way to have a translating feature for when you join the actual live. It deeply pains me that I can’t understand the idols during the actual lives. I want to be able to join a live in real time, and be able to at least read subtitles so I can know what they are saying. I understand this may be a personal issue (me not knowing the languages) but I just want to be able to support and join in on connecting with the idols. Waiting until the recorded version of the lives are out, just so I can get subtitles is not enough for me. I deeply apologize for sounding selfish, but I just wish things could be different.

The FAQ says when someone gets reported multiple times that person will be blocked from posting for 24 hours but that appears to not be true or the person has multiple accounts with the same name, besides that, they have done absolutely nothing about the pervert going around to the different forums posting inappropriate pictures. He/she continues to post porn pictures on a app filled with minors and besides removing the picture each time we report it, VLive has done nothing else. If they continue to allow this they should change the age rating for VLIVEApp to 18+ because no minor should be forced to see such a thing. This is suppose to be a fun place to connect with fellow fans not hiding from perverts posting porn every day.

First of all, the new chubby retro looking icon is just plain ugly, if you compare it to the previous design, this one looks like an outdated version. Then the format of VLIVEApp itself has also gone downhill. Instead of making it more user friendly, it's now cluttered and complex. If it aint broke don't fix it. The only improvement is the video play feature of 10 second rewind and fast forward. Another complaint is that the heart button can't be minimized, it's an eyesore, distracting, and takes up more room than it should. At least make it transparent in the next update. The v app icon being always present on the screen has a valid purpose, but when i want to take screenshots or just in general, the heart icon is just plain in the way. I used to love VLIVEApp, but now I get salty each time I open it.

V live is great, but I recently purchased Ch+ and I can view the content just fine on PC, but when it comes to my phone or tablet, then no. I thought it was because there’s a new updated version for V live, but I checked and VLIVEApp is up to date on both my phone and tablet. The problem is that when I tap the button to view Ch+ content, it takes me to the “About Ch+”, which is frustrating because I already purchased it. I tried logging out and logging back in and that didn’t work neither. I also tried deleting VLIVEApp and reinstalling it again and that also didn’t work. Please help me with my problem 😭

I love VLIVEApp to bits and it gives me some excitement throughout the day with all the BTS episodes you have. The thing that really stumps me though, is when I purchased a $2.99 subscription to the Channel+ thing and from what I read on VLIVEApp , the purchases take affect as soon as it's confirmed. However, this isn't the case for me. I bought the subscription yesterday, so it should've taken affect yesterday. But here I am now and I'm unable to watch Channel+ videos. Can you help fix this? Thank you.

Update: cancelled subscription because I was STILL unable to watch ANY VLive+ video even though my bank account was charged. I want a refund. You're the first app I ever trusted with purchases and now I can't trust you. Give me my refund please, or tell me how I can. This is ridiculous.

I've never experienced any major issues with VLIVEApp, I've had it downloaded for a while but my one complaint is that I'be recently purchased a fanship for a channel and I get the stickers for the artist but i can't even use them! Whenever I try I get a prompt that tells me the fanship has expired. I have to delete the stickers and re download them any time I want to use them but I'm currently writing this because that is no longer working. I'm paying for stickers in the fanship, I want to be able to use them without having to go through a bunch of frustrating methods to get them to work.

Even though VLIVEApp is a great app there’s one thing that bothers me a lot. There are no auto subtitles/translators. Because of this, when someone goes live, I can’t understand most of what the person/people are saying because there aren’t any auto subtitles. It would be nice to see an update on VLIVEApp providing auto subtitles for the V Live users when someone is live. It would make me and many users of VLIVEApp happier to see this update. I am using the iphone app on my ipad for convenience of watching and it was quite satisfying. However, after the iOS 11 update, the icon of iphone apps installed on my ipad went strange. It just looks as if the download is not finished, the icon with white background and gray grid lines. But while the icon of other apps like kakaotalk got fixed, v app still displays unrecognizable, confusing icon with those grids. Please fix this problem and also please consider developing ipad version of VLIVEApp .

Please help me with installing the app at first I was not installing , then it installed even it is reporting like 'there is a temporary issue. Help me out with openings the app cuz some how I installed the app. But now I couldn't open it 😭😭😭.
