Disney Jigsaw Puzzles Reviews

I love jigsaw puzzles. I love Disney. I mostly like DisneyJigsawPuzzles. There were three days where I would try to do puzzles but after about fifteen seconds DisneyJigsawPuzzles would crash and I would be kicked out. I bought a puzzle pack and only three of the fifteen puzzles downloaded. There is no clear explanation for retrieving saved games. I do enjoy the puzzles but there are bugs that if they only affected free puzzles would be annoying but when they affect purchased puzzles it is an outright ripoff! I paid for puzzles that didn't download. I had three days where I couldn't work a puzzle over 8 pieces so I couldn't complete a prize level, I.e. Work all free puzzles for 30 days. Now I have to start over. I lost 60 points toward a prize puzzle because of this. I am not happy.
The previous issues were fixed except that DisneyJigsawPuzzles has started crashing again. I can only play 6, 8, and 16 piece puzzles. I can like more of a challenge than 16 pieces.

None of the developers have children. There is no way you make an app that makes it hard for even the parents to find the puzzles they just bought. Actually I just bought a 45 puzzle piece for my daughters trip to Disney of all places and the puzzles are nowhere to be found. But, what is easy to find is the adds to buy the other puzzles. Seriously, simply make an extra tap that says my puzzles where all the puzzles you own are located. Use all your other taps to shove merchandise in our faces, but atleast be respectful of your clients and let us use what we actually paid for.

If the developers of DisneyJigsawPuzzles had children they would have known better. It would just work like it suppose to. Kids open app, add shows up, my puzzles tap shows, kid knows where his puzzles are, kid do puzzle, everybody happy. Parent buys more puzzles. You make more money the right way. How hard can this be. This is a terrible app.

As much as I do appreciate some Disney games and puzzles, this is possibly the worst approach to meet both of these interests. First off, finishing a puzzle, even in the toughest level wouldn't give the player any sort of satisfaction because you do NOT give out proper rewards.
Rather than using the puzzle bits like you do now, how about giving the player a certain amount of coins (game currency) depending on the puzzle's difficultly. If you do not reward the player in this sort of satisfying manner, finishing the puzzle will not be interesting or fun.
Also, please give an option to change the music/shut the music down. As I tried the puzzle playing myself, I wished for some ASMR effect while playing. However, the music is not appropriate for calming gameplay.
Now, the elephant in the room. The DLC in this game is plain awful. Why would anyone, even Disney/Pixar fans spend over $100 for the full game. It is cheap, limiting and quite unfair. Now if it was 'Get this puzzle for a limited time' that's forgivable. But why would you want your consumers to have little to no free gameplay with only 7-10 to start with, let alone having the puzzles being finished leaving a sour taste in their mouth.
The Puzzle prizes are also the worst ripoff there could be in DisneyJigsawPuzzles. Instead of giving away 1-3 free puzzles, how about letting the player choose for himself?

I love DisneyJigsawPuzzles but please fix the bugs! Does anyone at DisneyJigsawPuzzles development company read these reviews?? I would be overall useage of DisneyJigsawPuzzles is waaaaaay down because they have not fixed the crashing issue that has been a problem FOR MONTHS. And maybe reduced playing stats made them put this low on their priority list??

I contacted “support” and she said to restart my iPad and to double check that I had the current updates. I had done all of that before contacting them.

I do these puzzles to help me wind down in the evening. I have figured out how to (sort of) get around the consistent crashing bug/issue but it is ridiculous that this has gone on so long. This must not be a true Disney product but a cut rate license agreement.

I downloaded it for for my Granddaughter in 2016 but I do the daily puzzles because I find it very relaxing. Here is the problem. There are all kind of bugs within DisneyJigsawPuzzles . They usually appear after a new puzzle update. Currently DisneyJigsawPuzzles shuts down on its own and any puzzle moves you have made a lost. And it happens so quickly that you barely have time to start the puzzle. Please please please fit it. I just bought the 2018 VIP package and I feel like I won’t be able to use DisneyJigsawPuzzles anymore.

DisneyJigsawPuzzles is very frustrating! It's very difficult, sometimes impossible, to find the puzzles you have purchased. The last straw was buying the Wings of Life puzzle, and after buying and downloading it, it has completely disappeared! I have searched everywhere for it, but it's not in DisneyJigsawPuzzles . I have also searched where I can contact customer support, but there is no customer support. Even the developer website in DisneyJigsawPuzzles listing takes me to an error page. High quality puzzles, but it's really just an operation to take as much money as possible and make you buy more and more puzzles, hiding the puzzles you have already purchased. I look forward to hearing back from customer support on how I can play my purchased puzzles or get my money back.

I did not get all my purchases. I purchased the Disney Holiday Packs and the Disney Spooky Packs from the home puzzle screen. The Disney Holiday Packs was $9.99 and said 350+ puzzles one incredible price and showed 14 different packs in this one pack selection. Only 3 of them downloaded. I paid $9.99 for 3 packs that sold separately are only $.99 cents a piece?!?!?! Where are my other 11 packs that are listed in this deal? This also happened with the Disney Spooky Packs. There are 6 different packs listed in this pack selection listed at $6.99. Only 3 packs downloaded. I paid $6.99 for 3 packs that when purchased separately are only $.99 cents a piece?!?!?? Where are my other 3 packs? Please check on this. Not a happy customer right now. Either would like my other packs or a refund.

I love the idea of DisneyJigsawPuzzles but i find it to not always work. I am on an iPad Pro 1st Gen, not that new of an iPad but i have zero issues with any other app. Many times when you drag a puzzle piece up to the board it will freeze the game for 5 seconds or so and then unfreeze and put the piece back at the bottom of the board. Sometimes you will drag a piece and it will just hold for a while but you can drag other pieces, then that piece will return to the bottom of the board. It’s just a buggy mess.

Also, why dont we have stats in the game? You have achievements to reach but you have no idea how many more games you need to win, etc. to get to that achievement. This game might have the Disney license, but it doesn't feel very Disney.

1-8-20: I’ve played this for years and spent a lot of $ on it for the different collections etc. I loved DisneyJigsawPuzzles until you(Sparkle) took over. Ever since, the Daily Puzzle I have trouble getting. It’ll say “check internet connection”, when I have 100% internet connection and all my other games and apps work fine. My internet connection has nothing wrong with it. I was doing a nice streak of daily puzzles until that happens. You should fix this and compensate players with a other free puzzles or puzzle pieces. Other games that have glitches do this.

Also, where did all my puzzles that I started and didn’t finish go?? I had a lot of down time last night and I did about 6 of my puzzles that I never finished(the Recently Played area) and I know I have about 20 puzzles!!!! Where did they go?? Before you took over, Sparkle, my Recently Played and saved puzzles would still be there. Please fix these issues!!

I love DisneyJigsawPuzzles. Downloaded it in June. Have played almost every day and spent plenty on puzzles with no regrets. But since January 1, the daily puzzle is no longer available. It says check internet connection. There is no issue with my internet connection. All other apps are working fine. Oh and the internet connection works just fine to purchase within DisneyJigsawPuzzles . Reached out to Sparkle Games by email twice with absolutely no response. I see by other reviews I am not the only one having this issue. I understand things/glitches happen from time to time, but at least acknowledge and address it. And for those of us that have spent plenty of money with you, you could at least offer a free puzzle as we have now lost our daily puzzle streak. I was 20 days away from receiving 50 points for not missing a day completing the daily puzzle. Very frustrating. I love the puzzles and will continue to play. Fix the daily puzzle issue and you’ll have 5 stars from me.

I have bought 2 puzzle packs so far. The first showed up no problem and I have completed all. I purchased the Frozen II pack as well and I cannot find it anywhere!! So, I paid for it, but it is not showing up?? DisneyJigsawPuzzles crashes pretty much every time my daughter uses it but it is still pretty fun. Just someone please help me get these puzzles I purchased to work!

Ok I'm really confused now... I checked to see if someone replied to my review and it now says it was edited, but still looks like the review I wrote but that it was written by someone called "carfreak" that is not me! What is going on here. I'm starting to think this site has been hacked. I have gotten no response from my email or this review. There is an issue and I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I installed DisneyJigsawPuzzles years ago and enjoyed it so I bought several puzzles and did most of them and got all of the stars on DisneyJigsawPuzzles , but all of sudden my puzzles that I did with a check mark they all disappeared and I have to redo them over and and the challenges are back to zero and I have to go back and do the challenges again. I don’t know what they did but my puzzles I bought still there, don’t remember what puzzles I finished and what I need to finish the others since they removed my check marks. I already emailed them and responded back. That’s why I give DisneyJigsawPuzzles a 3/5 stars…. I’m not going to bother with the challenges anymore, I think I spent over $50 for DisneyJigsawPuzzles on puzzles

I read a lot of reviews first, and many were complaining about the shockingly low number of free puzzles - which is true, there are ONLY 24 free puzzles, 20 of which are “classic” (ie movies from the ‘90s or earlier). Yes, there is a free daily puzzle and, yes, you can win puzzle prizes. The classic puzzles are also cute and nostalgic. If I wanted to buy, say, the Winnie the puzzles, it’s $6 for supposedly 45 puzzles (I can’t say for sure because I haven’t purchased anything). However, every other app has NEW puzzles every day, not just one. And my biggest problem with DisneyJigsawPuzzles is that EVERY SINGLE PUZZLE PIECE is the SAME SHAPE. So, like today’s, when every piece is white and orange because it’s Finding Nemo, you can’t make heads or tails (fins?! 🤣) of anything! Especially for children, shouldn’t they be in various shapes, so that they can see how things fit together instead of mindlessly trying every piece until it fits?! It makes you feel a bit crossed when every piece looks the same! In conclusion, while they are cute and nostalgic, I just don’t see this being the Disney app I would recommend.

Just a few weeks ago I bought a princess pack for my daughter and had no issues finding them. So she was asking for me to buy the Nightmare before Christmas puzzles. I decided to do so but the holiday pack was quite a bit of money so I bought the just the 15 puzzles of the Nightmare before Christmas and its no where to be found. I have no clue who to contact to get refunded or the issue fixed. My daughter loves DisneyJigsawPuzzles however I don’t want to spend money if the puzzles aren’t going to be there.

I actually tapped on DisneyJigsawPuzzles Support in DisneyJigsawPuzzles store and that didn’t even work because it asked for my birthday and never went past that page. What else can I do

I bought the big 300 puzzle pack for my daughter and I couldn’t find the puzzles anywhere. It looked like maybe a few were unlocked. I think I counted maybe 17. I wondered where the other 283 were. I was going to request a refund when I got my emailed receipt from Apple but we figured it out and found the puzzles. It would be really nice if there was a page that showed all of the purchased puzzles in one place. Otherwise this is a nice app that my daughter who loves puzzles is really enjoying.

This is my favorite puzzle app. I wish there were more rewards. After you play a while you kinda run out. I think it would be cool if you could get a reduced amount of points for finishing certain achievements multiple times (it’s really hard to do a 64 piece one in under four minutes- I think giving us 5 puzzle points per time you do it would be a good incentive to keep practicing! 😄)

Also, please add more packs and bundles. A problem I have is that you can only preview the puzzles that come in a pack on a certain tab, but that tab doesn’t have all puzzles. I’m very interested in the northern lights frozen bundle but I don’t want to pay that much money without a preview. Please add Sofia the first puzzles! I would buy them all!

Overall, great game. The princess bundle is a good deal and I play it everyday.

I love DisneyJigsawPuzzles, it has crashed like 1 or 2 times (but I have an iPhone so that happens a lot so it’s okay); I love the free puzzle of the day (it’s nice b/c it’s literally for the whole day, so it doesn’t take it away when you close DisneyJigsawPuzzles ). I used to play this other puzzle app with $0.99 for a huge pack of puzzles but I like this Disney one better b/c the music is more upbeat and fun and I LOVE the Disney puzzles. I wish there were more Disney puzzles (like more TV shows & more movies), and you know what would be BEYOND cool?!? Is if while you are playing the Disney puzzle the actual music from that show/movie was playing. It’s nice I can play & still earn points with or without internet.

i love DisneyJigsawPuzzles so far! but i can’t share my puzzle in order to finish the achievement :/ it keeps saying “set up email/facebook/twitter through the IOS settings app” but you don’t sign into any of those through settings? please fix this bug, it’s one of the few achievements i can do if it gets fixed. (also, yes, there are few puzzles for free. but there’s enough that it’s fun every once in a while & $7 for 45 puzzles is pretty cheap considering a single puzzle IRL is $10+)

edit: i emailed support & its not their fault you can’t share your puzzles! but please remove those achievements & add new ones in their place? makes me sad to see achievements i won’t ever be able to get :( overall, amazing app. haven’t spent any money yet & ive played it for hours. plan to buy a tinker belle puzzle pack soon 💕✨🧚

I enjoy playing these puzzles before I go to sleep. I get a taste of Disney and fun. I like the Free Puzzle of the Day feature - I only do one puzzle each night before I go to sleep and the random variety is appealing to me. I like the option of buying a set, but I do like random Disney images rather than 45 puzzles of the same theme/subject. The Starter Pack and Free Starter packs are great, again, because of several different movie images. I would suggest reading reviews before downloading for helpful tips - like how to save the puzzle until it’s done. I take screen shots of all my completed puzzles before I return to the main puzzle menu - once you leave a completed puzzle, you start fresh. I like the variety of puzzle piece options. Great for very young puzzlers and also for the more experienced. This is a great, relaxing family App. And I like that there is no incentive other than the satisfaction of completing a puzzle.

Being stuck in quarantine I needed a fun app to get through it. I LOVE puzzles so I decided to get DisneyJigsawPuzzles. I would play it all the time and let my little sis play it. Then today the free puzzle of the day would not work. It said check you internet connection and when I looked there was a full connection. The best part for me was having a free puzzle every day and now it no longer works. If this bug could get fixed it could be a 5 star review again.

Update: I restarted my phone and now it works 👍. It might have been because my phone is old. Any now this can be 5 stars YAY 😀

I love this game! It’s so peaceful to play and easy to do. They have relaxing background music but you’re able to turn it off if you don’t like it. They give you a few starter puzzles that are free so that you don’t have to buy them. And you get a puzzle of the day that changes daily. And if you get 100 points you get more puzzles. So it’s nice. I have not had to buy anything on this game and there’s been no ads. So that’s been really nice at bed it makes me want to play this game.
I only have 2 suggestions: The puzzle of the days are not very different from each other. For instance, if this is my week, I’ll have a cars puzzle, aristocats puzzle, cars puzzle, cars puzzle, little mermaid, aristocats, etc. I’d like to see a little more variety, like, every week each puzzle is from a different movie. Just less repetitive puzzle of the days.
The second suggestion is to have more ways to get points than “do 40 puzzles” and ”do 15 inside out puzzles”. I realize there are more than those, like speed records and stuff, but after you do them you have to wait until you do 30 puzzle of the days to get more points. And the prize puzzles, can you maybe stop adding puzzles that we already get in the starter packs. That just seems pointless.
But other than that I love this game! I play it every day! So nice and simple to do. Completely recommend
