My company has used Moon Invoice for 3+ years. When it works it is a good enough system for our uses. However, there have been several occasions where an “update” caused major glitching in the system, removing tabs, forcing autofill entries and making the program miserable to try to use.
When I reached out for support of these issues their inevitable response was that the next update will fix it. Then you wait either bated breath to see if the next update miraculously makes it the subpar invoicing system we sadly depend on. Often times the issue is not fixed for several updates and you waste time trying to use the product you unfortunately paid for.

They advertise 24/7 support and a southern california telephone number and a online chat. Phones forward overseas and rings a while and then disconnected. Chat app no one is live when ever i have used it. Emails are very slow to respond. This is now the 3rd time while trying to sync data that i have lost a bu ch of it. Now i have no way to know who owes me money or records of payment amoung other things. I cant reach anyone. Last time it happened it was the same exact issue. I liked this app but i cant handle this anymore. I need urgent support. Not hours later when i am sleeping. You cant speak to anyone live either.

I really loved this app for the almost two years I used it. It was easy, had a nice modern interface, allowed for time tracking, and multiple businesses, etc even on their most affordable upgrade. I remember having to upgrade to their next level from the base paid plan for some reason...
At any rate was really irritated when I was on vacation and a client wanted an estimate / invoice same day and I tried creating one via the phone app and sending it, only for it to never go through. I started to notice lots of glitches that weren’t syncing and mirroring with the computer based app, and then to top it all off, wouldn’t work across all platforms towards the end of my use. It would state I was paid up on on the computer for example, only to have it kick me off the phone app and say my membership was expired. I’d try syncing it, rebuying it, downloading and deleting all of them and nothing. Not okay especially if I’m paying.
I’ve switched over to Wave apps invoice which is free and has all but the time tracking. Hopefully I can trust this company or else I’m going to do this the old school way and create manual spreadsheets. Third times the charm I hope ! Best of luck to this company but I shouldn’t have to go out of my way to make things work for them. Other way around.
