I am very impressed with this weather app. Hands down the best I have ever seen. Always used the weather channel app NOT ANYMORE!!! Nice job news 3 💪🏼
This has been a decent if sometimes a tad inconsistent weather app. I'm not a fan of the recent change to put everything in a scroll on the home page. With the latest version it is now oddly difficult to switch to landscape mode. It used to start up in whichever way your device was facing. Now it defaults to portrait and you need to go through some gyrations to switch to landscape. Not a big deal but frustrating. Also the semi-transparent view of clouds or whatever it is behind the information makes it a bit difficult to read. Changes just for aesthetics should not hinder.
Like the app but it seems like it started loading more slowly recently. Like the local weather but If the loading speed doesn’t improve I’ll look at other weather apps.
The weather features are great. Really like the storm tracking icons, and the weather alerts. It seems to take a bit for the app to open. The biggest issue is the blog (news headlines), when a story is tapped in order to read more, it takes way too long to open. Sometimes long enough that I stop waiting and leave the app. It is especially frustrating when the story opens and it is only two paragraphs. I have used the app on multiple devices, and most recent iOS update and it is the same experience. Get the app for the weather feature, but read the news elsewhere.
