Decent weather system

This has been a decent if sometimes a tad inconsistent weather app. I'm not a fan of the recent change to put everything in a scroll on the home page. With the latest version it is now oddly difficult to switch to landscape mode. It used to start up in whichever way your device was facing. Now it defaults to portrait and you need to go through some gyrations to switch to landscape. Not a big deal but frustrating. Also the semi-transparent view of clouds or whatever it is behind the information makes it a bit difficult to read. Changes just for aesthetics should not hinder.

Slow to load

Like SevereWeatherCenter3 but it seems like it started loading more slowly recently. Like the local weather but If the loading speed doesn’t improve I’ll look at other weather apps.

App is slow to open

Not sure why, but opening SevereWeatherCenter3 often takes 15-20 seconds or longer.

Right direction

SevereWeatherCenter3 is going in the right direction upon releasing the May 1 version. However the blue and white background makes the white text harder to read.

App won’t open

Just updated and now the icon on my Home Screen won’t work. iPhone XR up to date. Still working if I load from SevereWeatherCenter3 Store.

This last month I have been able to open the application! So I delete it and download it again and it works about 25 hours then stops working! What’s the deal?

Not kept up to date

Most recent weather report is usually not on SevereWeatherCenter3 , which should be essential for Michigan winter weather

The ads are cool in the app

I like WWMT TV 3 but The ads are killing it.

Decent app but not accurate

SevereWeatherCenter3 is good for swing the weather map but aside from that it’s not. The hourly is not accurate at all and you can not count on SevereWeatherCenter3 to plan anything.

Don’t like

Most of the time I get a "network error" message. All other apps work just fine. VERY ANNOYING!

Great app for weather, not news

The weather features are great. Really like the storm tracking icons, and the weather alerts.

It seems to take a bit for SevereWeatherCenter3 to open.

The biggest issue is the blog (news headlines), when a story is tapped in order to read more, it takes way too long to open. Sometimes long enough that I stop waiting and leave SevereWeatherCenter3 . It is especially frustrating when the story opens and it is only two paragraphs.

I have used SevereWeatherCenter3 on multiple devices, and most recent iOS update and it is the same experience.

Get SevereWeatherCenter3 for the weather feature, but read the news elsewhere.
