How to Cancel Landlordy Property Management

This app is fantastic. Easily one of the best designed apps I’ve used all around. As a multiple property owner, this app has made my life so much easier, saving me time and stress and even making me a better investor. I can see clearly and quickly which properties are doing well financially and where expenses are changing over time. I love taking pics of receipts and documents and then tossing them. No need for paper copies anymore and everything is backed up to the cloud; organized and visible. The more I use it, the more I love it. My only feedback is the reporting layout is a limited for tax time and analysis or review for data entry errors. I would like an option to display more details of each line item. But still a five star app.

I’ve worked as a property manager on and off for about 10 years. I always had to run to the office and check my records in order to keep up with occupancy, repairs and everything else that property management entails. This was a little bit of an inconvenience, but because we live in a small community, it wasn’t such a hassle. When I came across Landlordy, I was thrilled, because I was able to upload my iPad app history to Dropbox, then download it to my iPhone app and Voila! I was able to do work from anywhere I happened to be. I was even able to keep up with my business from out of the state. Landlordy just makes managing real estate so much easier and for what it costs, it’s a veritable steal!

I give this 5 stars not because it’s perfect but because it’s the best there is for the price. I almost resigned to paying hundreds of dollars every year for some to keep track of my rentals until I found this. Great app. Almost fantastic. Lots of good things about the app. I’ve tried several other programs but for the price and functionality this is the best I’ve found. The few drawbacks are the lack of iCloud back up which is not a big deal but the bigger deal is not being able to sync across devices. It would be so much more useful if I could use any device to tack on a payment or receipt. One day maybe. Keep up the good work. Hopefully this great program will grow along with my own business.

Update: Version 2 has some great new features, especially in Reports and tracking. Really great work listening to feedback. I stumbled across Landlordy while searching for a way to track rental property expenses/income. It has all the features I need and the support is fast and concise. One feature that is a huge timesaver for me is importing a receipt from an email directly into Landlordy. These days, everyone sends an invoice by electronic means and this feature removes a hassle and gives me a copy of the receipt stored in the app. Nice! Also very glad there is no monthly subscription fee and I can backup to Dropbox. Again, nice!

Update 2019: still my go to app, new features, but keeps it simple. Everything I need in one app. Update 2017: end of the year and everything still working great. Its a no frills app, but gets the job done with minimal work. Very responsive developers. I have really enjoyed working with this app, and can see myself as a small time landlord and using this app going forward. The developers seem very open to feature ideas, and have been very responsive to my many emails. So far awesome, and with some minor bug fixes and occasional features it will be even better. In the about portion of the app I recommend contacting the developer with questions and feature requests. Some ideas I submitted: - backup restore to other locations - a way to sync between devices probably using the cloud storage location - Maintenance recording and scheduling (hint you can already record maintenance and schedule under appliances which is my work around)
