How to Cancel Holiday Today Calendar

It took a couple (fun) hours to go through the holidays list to pick out the traditional ones & quickly add them to Apple’s Calendar app. I put them on the family calendar from my iPhone and set each holiday to repeat annually - trying to be careful to use custom settings where “days of week” was necessary. Since I have calendar on iCloud, it instantly synced to all the family devices. Just chuckle & smirk past all the “non-traditional” holidays & counter-protest holidays. This is a very intuitive user interface - kudos to the programmers! They thought of almost everything needed to customize your holiday choice. My 2 cents for improvements: 1) Change “Show As” default to “free” instead of “busy” on the add holiday to Calendar. 2) Allow a search by category in list view - it takes a while to peruse the whole list.

I have used this app for over a year. Enjoy the layout and the information provided. Once, I found an odd national holiday that was missed. When I sent off an email to the developers, I received a quick reply acknowledging the omission. After a thank you, the developers added the holiday on the next update. These folks do not ignore their customers. I saw one criticism of the app that historical dates along with helpful links for more information would be a nice addition. While I enjoy th “This day in history...” information, I hope the developers do not go down that path. There are many other apps that do history quite well. For me this app should simply focus on the weird and not so weird days and national holidays. Many entries have a link. That’s fine, but I’m not going to research each entry. So, I believe the developers are doing a splendid job. Just what I wanted from the app when I purchased it.

This App is amazing, it makes my days so much more exciting and fun! I love to use it and see how people react when I’m in action. Following this holiday application it’s a very creative way to go about your days and when i upgrades to the full version i get more information of why I follow that holiday, getting an I cream you never taste before makes your life much more interesting! I highly recommend this app just because it’s really awesome!

I was just looking for a traditional USA holidays calendar for IOS when I stumbled across this fabulous app! This app is full of traditional holidays as well as quirky, funny holidays that are free and additional ones that you can purchase and post on your calendar or share via iMessage or social sight! Super fun and unexpected is all I can say! Kudos to the creative minds that put this montage together! 👍
