I normally access the site thru the web. And I have many classes saved in bookmarks and I also continue where I left off my classes by using the course history. Since the app does not offer either view. I had trouble finding the last class I was taking. Please fix this! Thanks! UPDATE: I received a response from the developer for this issue. I later realized that my LTE connection was slow when I launched the app which caused the history and bookmark not showing up. A suggestion for the dev - if bookmarks and history cannot be launched on the “home” tab due to network issues, please add some UI hints so that users would know that these are not available due to network. And thanks again for the quick response!
Library is extensive. Content is top notch. And even if the app were to be lacking it would make up... and it isn’t!!! So makes the experience fantastic. I expect that from any paid service. Most important for me is the ability to stack up my reading for offline viewing and the ability to change playback speeds. Two features I wish they offered (and this is not related to the app but the service overall) - 1. Ability to perhaps play/download just audio content 2. Better way of managing playlists. (Maybe with an additional tag or flag) to better manage viewed/not viewed/revise content flags.
I was a user of CodeSchool and switched to Pluralsight when they were absorbed. The content is high quality and it seems they are expanding the interactive courses, which is my favorite way to learn. However - iOS 12 broke Chromecast streaming for me. I have multiple Chromecast devices and I can stream from other apps to them. The Pluralsight app at first did not have the cast button, now it does, but it prompts me for a pin each time and does not connect. I’ve rebooted all the things, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but no joy.
This is a starting point, middle point and growing point for everyone in your organization. Excellent information! Brilliantly picked instructors. Passion is high in this organization. Pluralsight is a pioneer in its field. I really don’t rate anything but this is so important I absolutely must recommend this. You will fall behind if your organization does not have access to such an incredible learning platform. I can’t emphasize it enough how important this can be for your organization or personal journey.
UPDATE: Thank you for your reply. Sorry, I should have been more clear. I’m casting the videos using a chrome cast to my tv. When I’m casting, the only active button is the air cast (rectangle with wave looking things), but the button for speed, changing video destination and the button for speed are all disabled and I can’t use those options. So I am stuck at watching videos at 1x. Is there a way to speed up the video while casting to a tv?
